We visited Momofuku on a Sunday afternoon at 145pm. The restaurant was not busy. We were seated right away. We put in our order - one pork ramen, one mushroom ramen, and one kids meal + pork belly buns as a starter. One ramen and the kids ramen arrived together. The 2nd ramen arrived 15 minutes after that. They forgot our pork belly buns completely. Despite the large number of staff to customers ratio... it took over 10 minutes to flag down anyone for a fork for a small kid. Our server did not check on us. Her colleagues dropped off the food. When we reminded her that the order never arrived she sounded apologetic. They took off the item + actually packed the pork belly buns in a Togo box. The food overall is good! But for the price (I am from the bay area so I understand how much VCOL should cost). Came here for lunch for our anniversary. We sat at Chef.'s counter. Dustin was our server and he was fabulous. He offered us complementary bubbles to celebrate our anniversary and it wasn't bad. we ordered the shrimp buns, spicy chicken sando and the mushroom Ramen with pork belly Shrimp buns were wonderful the sauce and the pickled vegetables were perfect pairing with the crispy shrimp. It's not a whole shrimp it is chopped it up and formed into a patty and then deep-fried. it was a great. It has a consistency of the shrimp ball at a dim sum place. It was really yummy and the homemade red sauce that accompanied it was so perfect. You have to have it and I'm not a sauce person, but I dredged this with the sauce it was so good. The mushroom Ramen was so good so flavorful you gotta try especially if you love shrooms. unfortunately the chicken sando was just mid so we actually asked Dustin to take it away and we ordered the pork belly buns which were good but one bun came with like 90% fat and then the second bun came with like 90% meat so the portions were a bit off. I prefer the shrimp buns only because I preferred the sauce and the pickled veggies that came with it. The pork belly buns came with your traditional plum sauce and pickled cucumbers, so I would definitely order the shrimp buns over the pork, but that's just my preference. Getting a table at Momofuku was really easy breezy because their place is pretty big and there are plenty of spots. This is really helpful and dependable especially for Las Vegas that are notorious for a long wait (for good food). So if you want a good asian food with no wait, come here! It was only 2 of us coming here for a late lunch, but I really wanted to try their family menu. Either the duck rice or the bossam. Luckily they were able to accommodate us to order half the portion of Bossam family style. For the duck rice, unfortunately they couldn't. It was a total of $118 for the half portion of bossam. As expected, it was delicious! It came with some sides of kimchi, rice, lettuces, and ginger scallion sauce. They also offered us if we want to refill the sides. It was sooo much food, we ended up taking it to go. It was seriously enough for 4-6 people perhaps! The pork was so good, it's on a sweeter side. It has a good combination between fatty and lean part. So good with the rice, lettuce and kimchi. I definitely want to try their family menu duck rice one day. Came here for a light lunch with 3 other of my girlfriends as we just arrived and was hungry but didn't want to eat too much as we had an early dinner reservation elsewhere. Saw the menu and thought it would be perfect to grab a couple of dishes to share. We started with the caviar buns. While the chicken was crispy, it was slightly dry, and the flavor completely overpowered the delicate caviar, making it difficult to appreciate what should have been the star ingredient. It totally did not worth the piece. The pork belly buns were also a little disappointing as the pork lacked the tenderness and juiciness I was hoping for. The ginger and scallion noodles with shrimp had a nice al dente texture, and the shrimp were the highlight as it was well prepared and flavorful. However, the overall seasoning felt a bit underwhelming, and the dish could have used a stronger depth of flavor. The standout dish of the night was definitely the rice cakes. They had a great contrast of textures, with a lightly fried exterior and a wonderfully chewy interior. The sauce was well-balanced, with just the right amount of spice and sweetness without becoming overpowering. We did takeout bc we weren't able to get seated at around 4:30pm. The hostess said we would have to wait till 5pm and our cranky toddler wasn't having it so we took it to-go to eat in our suite instead. I came here over a long weekend trip and really enjoyed it! It was easy to make a reservation and it wasn't too busy at the time we went either, which was lunch time on a Friday. The service was great and the food was tasty. We got the mushroom ramen with pork added to it since I was also eyeing the pork ramen, Iberico pork, and spicy chicken sando with a side of rice. I was on the fence for a while between the mushroom and pork ramen because I love mushrooms but prefer a pork broth. I ended up getting the mushroom ramen and added pork belly, and it was honestly really good. The mushrooms were great and there was a nice variety of textures and flavors, and the broth was pretty tasty and even better than some pork broths I've had before. The Iberico pork was really flavorful and tender, and I liked the sauce a lot. It had a steep price so because of that, I thought it was nice to try once but not sure if I'll get it again. Dropped in to try an appetizer after just eating at Bang Bar. We sat at the bar and I asked the bartender what he recommended. He asked how hungry we were and we told him we weren't that hungry. He then recommended the most expensive appetizer (big eye tuna $36) or the most expensive noodles to share (lobster noodles market price: $52). We don't like tuna or lobster. We ordered the shrimp buns that were listed as $18 on the menu. Once the check came I saw that it was $20. I asked and the server who checked to confirm that yes, it's listed as $18 on the menu. It still rung up as $20 on the bill. They did not honor the menu price and just said sorry and shrugged shoulders. Do better. Not coming back. It makes me wonder how many other dishes on the menu are being up charged on the bill if they don't update their menus. The food was okay. Not worth the price. I had heard many good things about Momofuku, so I was ready to have a great meal. The appetizers I tried were all very good, I think I should have stopped there. My family and I were interested in trying the bo ssam, the roasted pork shoulder. We were disappointed in the bo ssam, for the price point, $198, the pork should have NOT tasted just like pulled pork at a BBQ joint - the flavor profile fit exactly what I would find at any BBQ restaurant. The meat was tender and juicy and made well, but it was not worth what we paid even though there was a literal ton of meat. I would not order this again. Disappointment aside, the restaurant had a lively atmosphere. We didn't try any of the cocktails, but saw other diners with theirs and they all looked picture worthy. The service was attentive, we never had to ask or wait for a refill or anything else. Momofuku is a decent restaurant and I am open to trying other items on their menu. read more

We arrived late in Las Vegas, and just wanted to eat something quick so we wandered over the Cosmopolitan and got seats at the bar. Lucky for us we were seated right in front of the incredibly talented chef who was in charge of all of the Meat and Fish preparation.... It felt like we were on an amazing cooking show.. We ordered pork and shrimp steamed buns, absolutely amazing, we ordered their signature pork dish ~ probably the best entrée I've ever had in my life and their fried brussels sprouts which were like crack. It was a fine seating arrangement. The only drawback was that it didn't have a hook for our bags. As someone who's kept up with David Chang's antics (yes, antics) for years it was nice to have the chance to dine at his signature concept that rose him to culinary stardom. The Vegas outpost inside the Cosmo is a stunner, beautiful design with a top tier view of the city. We arrived late on a slow night of the week after a long event day. Service was up to par and the food lived up to the hype. Started off with their rendition of an Old Fashioned, which was unique but good. Not the one I would make at home, though it fit the creativity of the menu. We split the pork belly bao buns and these are a must order. Probably up there with some of the best I've had. Spicy Miso Ramen ($35) // ground pork, black garlic, poached egg. To state it simply, a delicious bowl of ramen. You can taste the technique and depth of flavor. Broth was silky. Would eat this exact eal over and over again. Four stars because $35 for a bowl of ramen is crazy talk. Throw another piece of pork in there!!! And respectively, Mr. Chang has thrown enough shade at Yelpers over the years that it's difficult to forget all his baseless attacks on his customers keeping his restaurants in business. If he can get on his soapbox, I can get on mine for half a second! Nonetheless, the man makes excellent food. It'd be a wash to not dine at one of his restaurants. read more

It's been a minute since I've dined at momofuku but after working an event and I was hungry for some delicious Asian eats, decided to come here for a late night meal with my colleagues. We walked right in but it was also a Monday night and we dined around 9pm when the restaurant closes about 10pm I believe. The restaurant is located inside The Cosmopolitan right next to Milk Bar. It's beautiful and extends all the way back with views of the Vegas Strip. Upon walking in, it seems smaller, but definitely extends back. They also have a little upper deck area that is for private events, too. I ordered the pork bao buns for myself. Literally my favorite item on the menu. And when I say you won't want to share it, you definitely won't want to share it. It's that good. I also ordered ginger scallion noodle because that's really all I wanted. It was sooo good. There's a surprising number of tables/and seating options. The restaurant is elegant and trendy. The lighting is very intimate, but it adds to the ambiance The menu offers a variety of unique and intriguing Asian-American-style delicacies. David Chang is a renowned chef, and everything we tried was incredible. The pork belly bao buns were one of my favorites. We ended up getting a variety of plates and sharing. For drinks they have signature and classic cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options The staff were incredible. Very efficient, professional, and friendly. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner, and we were well taken care of Some tips: Definitely get a reservation. There is a chance that you will get a table as a walk-in, but not a 100% chance, and you will probably end up waiting a long time I would recommend doing what we did and grab a drink or two nearby while you wait I will say, there probably isn't a bad thing in this menu, but there also isn't much on here for the "picky eater." This is also a fine-dining Vegas experience, so, I wouldn't expect the most inexpensive prices. We were really looking forward to eating at Wicked Spoon but came late in the afternoon on a weekday and it was closed! There are so many food options at the Cosmo but we decided on Momofoku. It was a nice surprise to know they were hosting happy hour at that time. We were seated right away. The option to sit in the regular dining room wasn't available during happy hr so we sat at the bar tops which isn't my favorite but they were very nice about informing us. Wings - I really feel like Asian wings are the absolute GOAT and the ones here are no different. They're fried to perfection with a nice crispy exterior and tender juicy meat. If you like Asian wings, these ones here are pretty hard to beat. Pork belly buns - MUST ORDER! the fattiness from the pork just pairs so well with the freshness from the scallion and cucumbers. Plus a little sweetness from the sauce coupled with the soft buns? 6/5 stars. Wagyu strip - Seriously delicious, and the sauce that they use is heavenly. I usually prefer fattier cuts like ribeyes, but this one really holds its own weight amongst ribeyes. The ramen is just as good and somehow always hits the spot, whether it's your first meal of the trip or your last. Their cocktail menu deserves some love too! Everything I've tried has been well-balanced, creative without trying too hard, and the perfect pairing with the food. Vegas has no shortage of incredible restaurants, but Momofuku is one I make a point to visit every trip. I first visited Momofuku at The Cosmopolitan back in April to meet up with friends. I had already eaten dinner, so I didn't get to try the food or drinks, but everyone in my group really enjoyed their meals. During that visit, the manager, Karen, stopped by our table to check on us. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuine, and I told her I'd definitely come back to try the restaurant myself. About a month later, a friend came to visit from California, and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to return. Coincidentally, Karen was there again, and once again she made us feel so welcome and appreciated. Then, last weekend, I came back with another group of friends, and Karen continued the same exceptional level of hospitality. She even surprised us with an appetizer and Momofuku's famous Blondie dessert, which was absolutely delicious! (For anyone wondering, it's only available during dinner service, and it's worth ordering.) Every visit I've had here has been a positive experience. The food has been great, the atmosphere is fun, and the hospitality has been what keeps bringing me back. Karen truly knows how to make guests feel special, and that's something you don't find everywhere. I'd also like to give a shoutout to Cassie at the front desk. She is warm, friendly, and welcoming, and she makes a wonderful first impression. If I could offer a little constructive feedback, I'd say the dining room could use a bit more lighting. It's a cute space, but it feels a little too dark for my taste. The music was also a bit louder than I'd prefer, making conversation a little difficult. During our most recent visit, the service was slower than expected, and the pours on the white wine seemed quite small considering they were $21 per glass. Overall, though, I've really enjoyed my experiences at Momofuku. Great food, outstanding hospitality, and a team that genuinely cares about its guests keep me coming back. One of my favorite restaurants that never disappoints. We always start with the pork belly buns, they are a must try and the bun is delicious. I tried the cucumber for the first time and it was super fresh, super unique and the crispness from the peanuts added a great texture. One of my favorite takes of this popular cucumber dish. I tried the ribs since the waiter recommended them and they definitely did not disappoint. The yougurt based sauce was absolutely delicious and the ribs were cooked perfectly. My fried lobster dish was good, I wouldn't order it again but it's a great option to share with someone else. I just didn't expect to have that much tempura but the veggies and the lobster were all really good. The service was also great, you could tell the waiter knew every single dish and his recommendations were on point. The food came out really quickly and the environment was very welcoming. This is an upscale asian fusion restaurant opened by chef David Chang. I really enjoyed my wagyu steak with mushrooms. Because of my allergy restrictions, I couldn't do the usual vegetables for the side of steak, so my waiter was kind enough to offer a substitute of white rice with no additional charge, which was a great balance of flavor with the juicy steak. I sat by the bar with the open kitchen area and it was a really nice experience to sit close to the chefs who are very close in teamwork while cooking and preparing melas/plating. I think it would've been even better if the pork belly was caramelized and sticky but maybe that's just me. Spicy Cucumbers (5/5): Amazing, the best spicy cucumbers we've had. These are a must order especially if you're hungover and need to be brought back to life. So fresh and flavorful with the perfect crunch from the peanut topping. Way better than the spicy cucumbers from Din Tai Tung if you've tried that. Beef Fat Roasted Potatoes (5/5): I have an obsession with potatoes and now I have an obsession with these specific potatoes. I really don't understand how they got THIS much flavor and crunch into these potatoes. I can see this coming off as too salty for some people but it was perfect for me, no notes. I could've finished a whole serving to myself. Spicy Miso Ramen (4/5): The broth was great, very flavorful and the perfect amount of spice. Perfect after a night out of drinking, it makes you feel something again. Could use a little more meat but the portion size was just right for me. Was it the best ramen I ever had? No, but I would definitely order this again. Lobster Ramen (4/5): I can see from the reviews that they cycle through different variations of lobster ramen. The one we ordered has a creamy white broth with orange specks. Lobster was cooked perfect and the broth has a really unique flavor, it was creamy and savory but with a touch of sweetness. We dined at Momofuku primarily because I could use my credit card reward points here. I have never been to a Momofuku but LA has Majordomo. To my surprise, they were not the same restaurant. The inventiveness and interesting dishes made it one of our top meals of our trip to Vegas. Momofuku has two floors and I loved our table on the top floor. From the windows, you could see the Strip, particularly Paris Paris with the Eiffel Tower and the Montgolfier Balloon. Ground floor tables have no such view. Our server was really pleasant, helpful and friendly with recommendations. We ordered a Crispy Quinoa and market greens salad, Big Eye Tuna with grated frozen foie gras, and Pork Belly Buns to start. The Crispy Quinoa salad was fresh and it reminded me of a Vietnamese or Thai style green salad, with fresh sungold tomatoes, toasted peanuts, and a tart and sour makrut lime dressing. We also enjoyed the Big Eye Tuna starter. The vibrant cubes of tuna had a nice texture and we weren't sure about why it needed a dusting of shaved foie gras, but it did add a savoriness and fanciness! The Pork Belly buns seemed like a must-order since it is a Momofuku classic and they were exactly as we might have imagined, soft buns, and a thick slab of pork belly, with peking duck style-condiments, like scallions and hoisin sauce. We shared the Half Jidori Chicken which is prepared Filipino style with coconut collard greens. The chicken was good, with a sauce liberally baked into the skin adding flavor to the least interesting protein, but oh, I loved the coconut milk braised collards, which were tender and savory. The Iberico Pork had the perfect balance of sweet and sour, with pops of sweet peppers, chunks of pineapple, and an acidic agre dulce sauce. With the luscious pork, each bite popped. For our kiddo, we ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen and subbed in a mushroom broth so that it would not be spicy. It served the purpose well, to be a kid-friendly dish, but I might not order that again. The broth looked overly rich for my tastes! All-in-all we had a wonderful meal at Momofuku and look forward to a return visit. read more

Having heard a lot about momofuku while in LA we decided to try it out since we were staying at the cosmopolitan anyways. Situated at the based of the Cosmopolitan, Momofuku has a nice aesthetic upon entering the restaurant, in the main dining area it is spacious and aesthetically pleasing even with a ton of people. There wasn't a huge number of people during lunch time which was nice for us since we had some elderly folks who could go too far. We had ordered the pork belly buns and the shoyu pork ramen to have a taste. I honestly thought that the ramen was average; even though we had gone during a non busy time, the pork belly searing wasn't consistent across our various bowls. I think it got seared too long that the sauce that was used for the pork belly burned. My mom's portion was so burned that we ended up asking for another pork belly and was given the pork belly that they used for the buns as the cutting was different. read more

Visited here to use up a food and beverage credit at another property, and man were we glad we did. Our second time here, but the flavors and vibes were on point! Our server Cooper was really awesome; attentive, friendly and knowledgable. Lots of yummy Filipino flavors and good varying texture on this menu. The standout for me was for sure the jidori chicken. May have been one of the best I've had. Their spicy marg is also delicious and full of flavor; solid spice too - not artificial tasting like some others I've had. Think it's spiced with gochujang. The lamb ribs were probably a bit too fatty for our liking, but the flavor was good. Always a solid option when at Cosmopolitan or in Vegas; I would love to come back and try other family style plates they offer with a larger group. read more

Momofuko is located inside the Cosmo. Asian inspired cuisine by David Chang. It looks small from the outside but as you enter to the back, the space opens up to a larger dining room. We came with 9 adults, 2 kids and ordered family style to share and taste. We weren't expecting to get full but we did! One of the ramen bowls stayed untouched! We ordered: -3 spicy miso ramen -3 mushroom ramen -2 cold sesame noodle -2 spicy cucumber -5 pork belly bun (2pieces) -Kids meal mushroom ramen/fruit/coconut pineapple ice cream 15 -kids meal Karaage bites/fries/coconut pineapple ice cream -Half dozen oysters (WA) Between the two ramen, the spicy ramen was better. No one touched the 3rd mushroom ramen bowl. It's great if you're vegetarian but after a few bites, it was mushroom overload. Pork belly bao is a must order. Thick chunk of slow roasted belly was delicious. The kids meal karaage was the show stopper. It was juicy and crispy. If only they it offered in adult sizes. Spicy cucumber had a nutty taste due to the marcona almonds. Be sure you're not allergic to nuts. I've never had this sauce before and would love to replicate it. Everything we ordered was delicious, except mushroom ramen wasn't for everyone. We had 3 January birthdays and they gave out a shot of house sake. This went down so smooth and clean. Thank you! Great music choice and it gets loud all around with rnb hip hop. We brought noise cancelation headphones for the kids. Overall, great experience. We will be back. Great location on the 2nd floor of the Cosmopolitan Boulevard Tower - we were able to get a large party seated mid-afternoon without much waiting. Since there were several of us, we decided to go with the Bo Ssam, which was a pork shoulder with rice for lettuce wraps, and kimchi and sauces. They did not skimp on the meat, but for a family meal the amount of rice provided was comically tiny, with barely any kimchi and we kept running out of the ginger scallion sauce and swam sauce too. The waitstaff was great and brought us more whenever we ran out, but it made the meal feel weirdly stingy since the accompaniments were so out of proportion to the amount of meat provided. Ramen probably would have been the better choice. Go to Spring Mountain Road instead if you can. read more

A delightful Asian experience, all within the second floor of the Cosmo. I've heard of the celebrity chef behind Momofuku, David Chang, for many years. His restaurants were largely in locales I didn't go to often. I'm glad I was able to experience it in LV. The pre fixe menu was an amazing deal when it comes to Vegas pricing - 4 items for $48. The mushroom ramen was so so good. A nice finish with the black sesame ice cream. Definitely a good spot and good vibes overlooking the strip. read more

We came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and it was a 15 minute wait even though they had a lot of tables open. We got the spicy cucumbers, pork belly buns, & the shoyu pork ramen. The food came out pretty quickly. The spicy cucumbers were not spicy at all, and the sauce tasted like a bit of avocados. The pork belly buns were REALLY good and had a thick piece of the pork belly buns. The sauce inside the bun made it much better. The ramen was normal as usual, nothing out of the ordinary. I did like that the waitress came us and extra bowl and spoon without having to ask (because we were going to share the ramen). Overall, it was a nice spot for lunch, just a bit pricey. read more
