Everything like the decor, food and especially the customer service was exactly how it was the last time we went, so that in itself was impressive. The employees are so kind and efficient and Trina is the absolute best. Even after not being there in a long time, she remembered us and what we usually order! She is amazing. We ordered our Pho's, Spring rolls and my usual Bun Bo Hue. Every dish continues to be so delicious and full-flavored. Nothing lacking. We also ordered Thai teas which was refreshing and so tasty. We came here for Father's Day and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure we had a great meal. They even boxed up our leftovers for us which was such a thoughtful touch and treated us with some free desserts since it was a holiday. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a nice ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious and tasted very authentic. We loved the Vietnamese dishes since that's our ethnicity. But it's great that they also offer some Chinese and Thai options on the menu. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful and clearly made with care. One thing that really stood out was how accommodating they were to my mom, who is diabetic. They kindly substituted extra vegetables in place of noodles for her without any issues. We really appreciated their willingness to help and make sure she could enjoy her meal. This is my new favorite pho spot in north county!! I can't believe I didn't try this place sooner. Not only is the food delicious, but their service is amazing! All the aunties there are so sweet and they actually care about you. It's a true family restaurant. For food you MUST get the bun bo hue, I got it with the spare rib and it's so good. I love spicy and all of the flavors were there. If spicy ain't your thing, get pho. Can't go wrong with pho when you're hungover. We came for dinner on a rainy Friday night, and it was packed! There was around a 30 minute wait for a table, and for good reason. The food & the service are both top notch. We ordered the tofu spring rolls, a large chicken pho, and a large pho with rare beef. The rice paper on the spring rolls had the perfect amount of chew, and the accompanying peanut sauce had great flavor and texture. My chicken pho came with the fragrant beef broth, which didn't need any additional seasonings or sauces. I loved that each slurp had green onion in it, and the rice noodles had a nice chewy texture. Both soups came with lots of meat, especially evident in the steak pho. The servers were all so friendly, treating each table like neighbors or good friends. You can tell they all work well together and enjoy their work. The ambiance is cute, from the floral ceiling lights to the hand painted art on the walls. We've back now a number of times and have had solid meals. The pho is still a fantastic broth and highly recommended with whatever protein floats your boat (beef flank and rare beef is ours). We also love the salt and pepper tofu - generous and so flavorful. We recently also had the tom kha soup - a great bowl of spicy coconut soup although the vermicelli noodles in this one weren't as great. Perhaps we'll order the soup alone next time! This is still my favorite Vietnamese and phǒ place in North County. I always enjoy everything I order and I try different things all the time. We come back every few months and they always recognize us. They always keep my water filled and sometimes even offer us and other tables free soup to take with us to go at the end of the night, so it doesn't go to waste. When they give you the bill they give you these delicious little candies that are addictive. It's always packed too which says a a lot. We got lucky on this visit because they're on vacation from 21 July to August 15 and we happen to come on the 20th. So we were able to get our fill. I wish them well. This is the most delicious pho around! I ordered the P15 and my husband ordered the P2, both were amazing (we tasted each others of course)! The beef rib was fall off the bone and the meat was so tender. But most of all the service was out of this world! All of the servers were attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We saw the servers knew a lot of the guests and so we thought there must be a lot of regulars here. It was family friendly (there were lots of families dining there) and they played a family friendly movie for the kids to watch while eating. The restaurant was spacious and the decor was inviting. The food is good but not a wow good. Also, prices are high. We came here for the good ratings. They were busy. The egg rolls were $13.50 for 6 and they don't give you lettuce to wrap your egg roll. They brought us the sweet chili sauce but we asked for fish sauce. I like the egg rolls more than my husband did. He said he had better. My husband ordered a grilled pork Vietnamese sandwich. He said it was ok. They put a lot of mayonnaise on it. My husband poured some fish sauce in the sandwich and it made it better. This is $11.99 Two pork and shrimp spring rolls were $9.50. This was average but I like that they put rice noodles in them. The peanut sauce was a little watery but not bad. I normally don't order pho (noodle soup) unless I know it's good but i decided to try theirs. It was good about the same as Pho neighbors in Lake Elsinore or better and I only eat pho there. $13.99 for a small bowl. I love how they gave me thick pieces of tendons. Loved it. Good portion of meat was given. My husband requested that his Vietnamese coffee be made with no sweetener, just coffee and half and half. They did good. My regular Vietnamese coffee was good. It's been 10 years since my last review and I wanted to say that this spot is still 5 stars in my book! A classic with me and all my homies. I came here when I graduated with my Masters a long time ago and it was a memorable experience. Since they moved to Vista I haven't been as much but today I went with my cousin and they remembered us which I love. The ladies are great and always make me laugh. Them and the food keeps me coming back after all these years My cousin got grilled pork lo mein and the bite I tried was so flavorful. He ordered a 10 level spice but it didn't feel that hot to me and I can't do hot. We shared the crispy pork and shrimp egg rolls which are as good as I remember. I got the wonton soup with noodles and everything in it was perfection. Got some grilled beef and egg roll vermicelli to go for my boyfriend too and they threw some egg drop soup in the bag for us too. Love the decor inside and the authentic music. First and definitely not last visit for me. My cousin is a regular here. We had lunch with my toddler niece on a Wednesday. I noticed immediately how friendly all of the staff are. In my experience, this is very uncommon for most Asian restaurants. I mean everyone was smiling and genuinely happy to be there. We were seated within seconds of entering at a 4 top while she grabbed a high chair. Our exuberantly polite server came over with waters and took our orders. I asked for recommendations, so we decided to go with two of his suggestions. We started off with piping hot and crispy eggrolls that were accompanied by these yummy pickles. We ordered pho, broken rice and wonton noodle soup. They were generous with the portions and everything tasted YUM-O! Staff was uber attentive, refilling water, checking if we needed anything. I have to note how spaciously clean this restaurant is along with the classic Asian decorations. I love how the fully committed to decking it out, spared no details. First visit since they moved away from Escondido 2-3 years ago. Hubby remembered them to make the best Singapore Rice Noodle dish. I made the trek to Vista just to do something for hubby to flutter his heart. They haven't lost it. They make a very tasty Singapore Rice Noodle dish! We did takeout. Friendly as always.
