Worst experience ever. My son brought his working Nintendo Switch to uBreakiFix Tampa on February 26th because it wasn't charging. After paying $64.49, we just received it back today--April 18th--in a plastic bag , completely disassembled , parts and screws everywhere and missing the official Nintendo SD card that was inside it. Not only did they fail to repair the device, they returned it in pieces with no explanation . Despite initial promises in-store and a follow-up phone call assuring us it would be fixed, they gave it back in worse condition than when we dropped it off. My son was in TEARS . You can't get anyone on the phone --you literally have to show up in person just to get a response. We had to show up 3 times. They even promised my son a week ago that it would be reassembled, yet it was handed back to us just ripped apart . I have a computer degree and would never return someone's electronics in this condition. I don't trust the glowing reviews on Google--they probably use a service to bury the negative ones . This place is incompetent and unprofessional , and I've filed a formal complaint with corporate. I've attached images of how it was returned and the credit card charge for honest proof. read more

Excellent service by Kyle. I was of course sad about my broken iPhone 16 max broken back glass but Kyle was polite and explain the process. The service tag said it would be done in 4.5 hours but Kyle committed to having it done in 3 hours. This was an Asurion warranty repair and they gave me no hassle about that at all. I'll start off with a negative. It's never a good thing to have stuff I need fixing. I rely on my phone for reading, business matters, and of COURSE yelping with all my delicious food pics, etc. So I don't take it lightly when I look for a place to fix something I'm so heavily reliant on. My phone's screen has been stripey for WEEKS. After trying a few DIY ways of helping the matter and finding that nothing's working, I relent and take it here. The man behind the counter took one look at it, and was like, "Yup, it needs a new screen." My phone's old, and he was shocked I had it THAT long (five years) on top of just not being made anymore. Nevertheless, he confirmed he could help me, and I put in the work order in good faith that it'll get done. So, the part arrived to fix my phone, and a week later, I bring it in (because I'm pretty busy, and other than a stripey screen, there's really nothing else wrong with it). I drop it off overnight, and they told me it would be done by the next day, being that I dropped it off pretty late. Welp, it was done the next day like they've said and...NO MORE STRIPEY SCREEN!!!! I like how everything here was straight forward. They were able to quote me how much a new screen would be, and that was exactly what I paid, and they told me when it would be done, and were able to follow through. Nice! I went to this store because my phone wouldn't allow me to type text messages. Then it just wouldn't allow me in at all. It wanted my actual passcode instead of my finger print. So I was without a phone completely. When I went in and told the young man (Alex) what was going on he came out with an actual keyboard and hooked it to my phone and I was able to open it up. Then he went into the back to fix my actual keyboard on my phone. Which he kindly told was my app on my phone for typing was confused because some how I ended up with two of them. Well in the long he fixed my phone and I haven't had any issues since then. He was very nice and didn't even charge me for this service since it took him only about 3 minutes to fix it. I was quoted $170 for my screen replacement over the phone and when I went in the man with the goatee and Roman numeral tattoos told me the prince would be $219- no problem. After I handed my phone to him he then told me the price is now $399 to get my screen replaced. His only comment was "Oh. My bad." The man that was in the store before me had the same issue where the price they were quoted didn't match what they tried to charge. Horrible customer service. This place is awesome! I brought my phone to get the glass fixed. Did a great job with a quick turnaround time. I bought the Asurion Home+ insurance coverage, and a short time later brought in 2 tablets to be fixed. Saved a ton of money because of the plan. I purchased the Cell Helmet liquid glass for my phone, and when I broke the glass again, it was covered. Everyone there is friendly and professional and I recommend the business to everyone. read more

I called and explained that my Apple Watch was broken and made an appointment to drop it off. When i showed up they informed me that they don't work on Apple Watches any longer. First ever review don't usually care much but hopefully this helps the next person in my situation. 1st I took my iPad to have a cracked screen repaired everything worked but the screen damage. Upon receiving my tablet back the screen was repaired but it wouldn't charge and the fingerprint ID no longer worked. When I took it back to the store all they told me was that it was an older model and these things happen. This was after I was quoted 275 for the repair only to find out it was 550 when I picked it up the absolute worst service I have had in my life! Wish I could give 0 stars read more

Horrible customer service and scam artists. Made an appointment for a camera lenses repair on my iPhone. When I went in they stated they didn't have the part and would need to order it. Few days later they said the part was in and to come in whenever, I let them know I would be coming in on Friday. Friday arrives and I get to the store the only person who knows how to fix this issue isn't in for the day. Total waste of coming in twice just to have the issue not resolved. Not only was all of this inconvenient. I had paid for half the service upfront due to them stating I would need to sign up for asurion service, this is a monthly service but they told me I could cancel right away. With the service it would be $25 upfront then $25 when the repair is completed. If I did not sign up for this service I was told it would be $150 outright. They were not able to refund me in the store, they told me to call asuiron directly. After explaining to asurion what happened they let me know this fee of $25 monthly fee upfront and the rest when I pick up my order is not accurate, it would have been the same price regardless. Terrible customer service... convinced me to buy their monthly plan for ALL of my devices, then brought in my sons Xbox and it conveniently "isn't covered". Was told it needed a new motherboard, which I had them replace... just to get it home and it still doesn't work. They will waste hours of your time and sell you things you don't need... then do absolutely nothing to make the situation right. read more

This place is completely awful. Stay far away from them. The owner lied to my face on his employees upselling products that they do not cover. I was referred into this place and would never go back. I had brought my broken phone to both Verizon (my carrier) and Best Buy (where I purchased it). Neither could help, but Verizon called this company to see if they had parts to fix my phone and they did - it was dropped and the front and back casing were damaged and literally I had a black face. They repaired it and I had my phone back in 3 hrs. Extremely helpful. read more

We went in on Friday and was quoted around $400 to fix my IPAD screen. The counter guy was real nice and told us we could wait till Monday since the part couldn't be ordered till Monday. Went back on Monday and was told $369 + tax. Right around $400 again. Dropped off the tablet. The manager called in the afternoon and told us it would be $100 more because the part cost more. He called us back and we had decided to get it fixed anyways but when I complained about the two missed quotes, just to let him know what had happened, he turned into an instant butt hole. We could hear the sarcasm in his voice. I refuse to be treated like that. I'd rather spend another $850 on a new IPAD than give this guy a penny. STAY FAR AWAY. You've been warned. read more

They did a great job fixing the back glass on my phone - which I needed done in order to get the rebate on my new phone. Only complaint is that they did their walk-ins before my phone so I had to go back the next day to get it as opposed to the one hour wait I was expecting per the conversation with the person I made the appointment with days before. Terrible service and "repair". I came in for a broken screen and was told repair was possible but might leave a "slight bend". Turns out what they meant by "slight bend" is that the screen is barely attached to the phone. The employee handing me the phone was shocked how bad it looked . This didn't stop him from charging me $150 and telling me if I am unhappy they can just put my old screen back on. Not only is that absurd that's insulting . I don't think anybody deserves to be treated like this. I would have preferred honesty upfront if I came in and asked if a repair was possible. I would have preferred to be told that given the condition of my phone and acceptable repair would not be possible. Instead I was lied to told that repair could be done with only minor defects. I gave up valuable time and money with expectation of a suitable result- this phone looks like the screen will fall off if look at it the wrong way. read more
