    Mumbai jini dosa
    Bindi S.

Loved the dosas here. Very similar in taste to what we get in Mumbai or even Chennai. We tried the mumbai mini dosa which was filled with vegetables and cheese along with the potato mixture. Also tried the mysore masala dosa. It tasted perfect. The coconut chutney and sambhar was good also. I liked that the sambhar wasn't sweet like other places. It is on the slightly expensive side for dosas at almost $18 per dosa including tax but good for when the craving hits.

Great go-to place when in mall! Specially kids have the cone dosa and ghee idly that makes it more special!! The Mumbai pav bhaji is the best and this time tried the onion tomato uthapam and that was very nice but little bit thicker. Overall a great place and service and ambience is very good!! Must visit !!

Samosas that everyone started gobbling even before I could take a pic!

We love ID Cafe for a quick Indian snack. Their Filter coffee is so good! We usually get their Onion Samosas, Masala Dosa and enjoy it with a cup of their masala chai tea or Filter Coffee. Heavenly! The dessert here that we find the most unique and exquisite is the Cocoa Mysore Pak with Chikoo (Sapadilla) ice cream. SO GOOD! Seating, ambience and vibe is very casual. Service is usually prompt and attentive. We highly recommend ID Cafe, IMHO it is guaranteed to satisfy your South Indian food cravings!

I decided to order from them when visiting the Stoneridge Shopping Center. We got the beyond karaikudi dosa (vegan) and the tikka fries. Beyond karaikudi dosa: It is described as their famous karaikudi style dosa made with ground beyond meat vegan protein, onions, tomatoes and coriander. It was quite a bit spicier than I expected since it supposedly did not have peppers (I am weak to spice, unfortunately). It came with 4 sauces, green one was cilantro, the red orange one was spicy, not sure what the tan one was exactly, and the other orange one was more soupy but was not spicy. Tikka fries: This was really good, savory, I loved the tikka flavor and the fries are thin but crispy. It didn't take long for food to be prepared, and I appreciate that they have quite a few outdoor tables.

I always forget to take a picture of the food but man this place is amazing i got at least twice a week. Honestly some of the nicest and coolest staff ive had the pleasure of talking to. The ambiance is really nice inside, plenty of seating. I always get togo and their togo setup is probably the best ive seen, and my dosa always comes out of it wonderful Edit: I got a picture this time! This togo boxing is truly top notch!

This was an OK visit. I found the food way too spicy and struggled through half of it. The others in the party felt the same way.

Great fusion food! If you're in the area and want some comfort food but with unique flavors this is the place the check out. Unlimited sambhar and chutney is always welcome! The restaurant is in a mall so perfect for a little break during a shopping session!

Wow! Food is amazing here! We tried 2 different dosas and they were both terrific! Restaurant is very clean and service is very good. Honey balls are you served warm and a real treat!

Found this nice little place while we were shopping at Stoneridge mall. We haven't have dosas for a long time and this place definitely checks all the boxes. Decent portions and very good prices, makes this a very good (and healthy) lunch option. We had the Combo 6 and the Mumbai Jini Dosa. Both of them were packed of flavor. The masala dosa has a milder taste while the Mumbai Jini Dosa's packs a punch in terms of spice and flavor. The only but were the bathrooms, your shoes feel sticky when you walk in there, which is a sign to clean your bathrooms

    Idly 65, potato samosas
    Jessica D.

Stoneridge Mall has been my go-to shopping center for decades and we were craving Indian food for dinner while doing some returns. We sat down at a booth (it was pretty empty inside) and struggled throughout our whole meal to get a waiter's attention. We ended up trying the idly 65 (my boyfriend did not like this at all and wouldn't recommend it), potato samosas (I didn't like the dough here), a masala dosa which I enjoyed, and a mango lassi which was hands down the best mango lassi I've ever had. Every time we stop by Stoneridge, I now ask for a mango lassi to go.

Food was okay but service is pretty bad. Waitstaff never makes eye contact with customers so you have to literally stand up and flag them down. No specific instructions on anything. Left sitting at my table for almost 10 minutes only to learn that one is expected to walk up to the front to pay. Then there was the ridiculous interaction when I pointed at my empty glass and asked for some more diet coke. The guy said, do you want to refill or do you want a new diet coke? I said, I'd like a refill please. He says, I'm sorry we don't do refills. Then there are the sick customers. I was literally sitting at a booth surrounded by three families who were violently hacking and coughing. No one was covering their mouth. All in all this was a very unpleasant dining experience. I won't be back. They're getting two stars not one because the food tasted okay. I'm wishing I had eaten at California Pizza kitchen, right across the sidewalk.

    Andhra Karam Dosa
    Prath C.

We came here on a Saturday night for dinner. The ambiance was lively and there was little wait and we were seated promptly. Our server was very attentive and friendly. We ordered the Andhra Karam Dosa and the Matka Dosa. The Andhra Karam Dosa was delicious and the spiciness hit just right. That and the combination of the four different chutneys available were absolutely delicious and flavorful. The Matka Dosa looked super aesthetic but I found it be slightly on the blander side (even with the filling) but with the chutneys did help add flavor to the dosa. Overall, I really enjoyed my food and experience here and will be back in the future to try more options from the menu.

Authentic South Indian dosa and Vada. Sambar taste is not authentic, which needs little improvement in my opinion. But I love dosa variety,

Was the perfect size too, didn't feel sluggish or too full after eating which sometimes happens when I eat at places that have massive ones. I also tried Andhra Garelu for the first time and it's now my new favorite Indian food. For those who aren't familiar, the best way I can describe it is a savory doughnut without any frosting or toppings (taste a lot like potato/french fries to me, but staff told me it was made with flour not potatoes). It was the perfect thing to dip in the sauces I had leftover from my dosa. The staff here are also incredibly friendly and I enjoy coming here to catch up with them. The food was good overall, with a solid variety: chicken, mutton, and fish curries, biryani, several vegetarian dishes, mango lassi, sweets, curd rice, puri, vada, noodles, and hot tea. My personal favorites were the carrot halwa, mango lassi, and biryani. The only downside was how they handled the naan. Instead of having it at the buffet, they serve it directly to the table. With the rush, it was really hard to get any, we waited almost 20 minutes for our first (and only) basket. It would be much better if naan were available at the buffet or if they circulated it more frequently. On the plus side, they were quick about clearing plates. Prices are reasonable: $24.99 for adults and $11.99 for kids, with kids under five eating free.

Weekends is buffet only for lunch. It was a good option for us as we are a mix of vegetarians and meat eaters, kids and adults. The service was good but they were refilling the Naans on request. But they cleared our plates and filled water promptly. The food was a good mix and all of us liked it.
