I had a very disappointing experience with this dental office. This was my first visit, and I was surprised by how the front desk handled check-in. I arrived on time at 3:30 PM, but I was told I would only be seen if I completed all paperwork within 10 minutes, which felt very rushed and disrespectful. Before my visit, I called to ask about the cost of a simple dental cleaning without insurance. I was told it would be around $200. However, after the visit, I was billed about $1,400. During the appointment, I felt pressured to accept additional treatments such as fillings, even though I only wanted a regular prophylaxis (routine cleaning). After X-rays, I spent about 1 hour and 15 minutes there but did not receive the basic cleaning I originally came in for. Overall, my experience was frustrating and not what I expected based on the information I was given beforehand. I have been turned away from dental office, after dental office, after dental office, and Ideal Dental made sure to get me in last minute and take a look at my problem, and were able to offer solutions. As someone with severe anxiety, I ended up having an anxiety attack, and MULTIPLE staff members checked on me, offered assistance, showed that they cared and ensured me that everything was going to be okay. Dr. Timothy Estrada is now the dentist here from what I have read. I went to another dentist for 14 years and was required to change due to insurance. I was skeptical, although I am not anxious about dentist appointments of any kind, but if you are they will make you feel comfortable and relaxed by good nature, caring, kindness and gentle patient care. Dr. Estrada and his staff are really amazing. As we are in trying times with COVID, they are taking PPE measures very seriously so you, and them, can feel confident to receive great dental care in a safe environment. There were no alternative solutions, other than for me to be rescheduled to another date in the future. Having endured pain while waiting for the appointment, I was pretty upset. I wound up contacting another oral surgeon, and they did the work that same day for a lesser cost than was quoted by Brush32. While I did have a good experience with the office staff and the doctor during my initial visit, their inability to keep the appointment AND the fact that they were charging more than a specialty office for oral surgery put me off to this place. Dr. Zimmer and her staff at this location are phenomenal! The facility is brand new with modern decor that doesn't make you feel like you're visiting a dentists office! I haven't been to a dentist in a few years so I was nervous for my visit but the whole staff here was so friendly that I was put to ease quickly with their warm and professional customer care. They have some really cool and new technology to better asses your dental care too! This was my first experience where having full mouth X-rays was fast and easy plus it wasn't awkward or slightly painful! I thought it was really interesting when they took photos of my bite and all of my teeth and put it on a TV that was mounted in the room. I was able to view my teeth from a different perspective and take note of how I'm doing at taking care of them! I met the Dentist, Dr. Zimmer, once all of my photos were uploaded and X-RAYS were taken. She was so incredibly friendly and nice! She gave me the though news that I finally have a cavity but reassured me that I was in good hands and they would be able to fix it with minimal discomfort! I was also treated to an amazing deal of free teeth whitening for life too! My filling, cleaning, and whitening experience was so amazing! I am so happy to find such a great dentist and staff who are friendly, fast, up to date with their technology and close to home! I actually am excited and looking forward to my next appointment! Terrible experience! In my opinion and based on my personal experience, I feel Brush32 is not a practice interested in what is best for the patient. It is a business - a business interested in their bottom line. I felt like I was at a high pressure used car dealership! The tag team 'closers' are there to get your signature and your money! If you join their 'club' the outrageous prices become just plain too high prices. The dentists I encountered seemed rehearsed to pressure the patient into the higher cost procedures rather than less invasive procedures. My personal issue had to do with patient safety and concern rather than their seemingly shady pricing issues. I did not feel my health concerns were addressed at all. I also did not feel that the dentists were very confident in their own skills. read more

I get regular cleanings every 6 months. Earlier this year I decided to try this office since it was closer to my home. I selected a specific dentist and made my appointment. Instead of seeing the dentist I had made an appointment with, they told me that dentist and staff was out of the office that day and new people were covering for them for a few days. This was the first strike against them. I would have been fine rescheduling my appointment so I could see the dentist I wanted to instead of seeing a temp dentist. They didn't bother notifying me the dentist was out that day. Next they did the cleaning and exam. I get a cleaning and exam every six months so I wasn't expecting any big things to have changed since my last visit. The dentist was aggressive with his diagnosis. He said I had several things that needed to be taken care of. He and the staff were aggressive with this and tried to make me stay and get the work done that day. I was put off by the experience so when I was leaving the office when they asked me to make a follow-up appointment, I told them I didn't want to make one at that time. I have since gone to another dentist and I didn't need all the work done the Brush32 dentist said I did. Overall from that appointment experience and from some of the follow-up they did after the appointment, they came across as very aggressive with their diagnosis and pressure to let them do the work. read more

The office is inexperienced with insurance claims. Also, this office has changed its doctor and the whole office crew within a short period of time. I really like your Hutto location because of the convenience of being right around the corner. However, just when it seems a dentist is in place and I'm comfortable with them and the staff...the staff is gone and a new dentist appears.
