I went back twice to get it fixed, but each attempt was unsuccessful. I thought the sensitivity was just something I was going to be forced to live with until I visited Lyna. After one visit with her, my tooth sensitivity is gone. The Smile Spot booking process was seamless, from start to finish. After setting a date for my first appointment, a link was sent to complete forms online beforehand. Once completed, staff verified with me and my insurance on all costs before work was done, so no surprise billing! I will definitely be returning to see Lyna, even if it's an hour drive! Seriously, the only time I would go to the dentist was when I had a problem. This led me to Old Settlers several years ago where I met Dr. Zavala. He fixed me up, brought me back for a cleaning etc. He recommended a deep cleaning. I didn't return. I think that was in 2016/17. I developed another problem. I think this time it was a cavity. Maybe a root canal. So I went back. Dr. Zavala and his team (shout out to Jessica) really came down to my adolescent level and worked with me. Dr. Zavala has excellent bedside manner. He talked me through everything he did and made sure I had enough numbing in the gums so I wouldn't feel anything. I went back for the deep cleaning. He numbed me up for the initial clean. One hour per side which took two visits. It was a challenge for me as I can't sit still that long, but, they were awesome and got me through it. So now it's routine visits every four months with tooth cleaner extraordinaire Jessica. I've just completed my second cleaning, and, I take it like a real grown up. I'm no longer that scared little boy. I've turned twelve, and, the world is amazing.

Also want to shout out Dr. Magee because I truly had an amazing experience with my dental work that was painless and quick. My original review was based off financial miscommunication and not services. The fact you guys went over and beyond to make sure I was okay speaks volumes!! Today was our second visit here and I really wanted to like this office but I left very disappointed today and now will have to search for another new dentist. It is already hard enough to find good medical/dental providers that are honest and practice their craft safely. I agree the checkin process is quick and easy, you can fill out new patient forms online. My X-rays and services needed were explained during my first visit. I signed two treatment plans for me and my daughter and scheduled follow up appointments to start getting our dental work completed. However today when I arrived at the office and paid about $350 it was not for what I was originally quoted. $204 was supposed to be for a cleaning and two upper fillings on my left and right. I was told I was only scheduled for one so I was very much confused about what I had just paid for. I had to show the treatment plan I signed and was told that is not what is in my chart. Okay thank you for reviewing the information. After having mine and my daughter's work done I am then told our prices have changed because they were using an outdated fee schedule....which I was asked to sign the new ones. These were not small price adjustments like $20/$30 the quotes were off by $70-$150. That doesn't make any sense that you cannot even provide me the correct quote so how do I even trust that this "new" fee schedule is correct. I have never had this happen. If anything I'm usually paying over and ending up with a credit. It would have been better to show me the different fee schedules and how my treatment plans were calculated wrong versus showing me to different plans with very different amounts. If you go here I would definitely have them double check your quotes and billing.

I called them on June 18th to inform them of their error and they said they would rectify it and send in the correct prescription. They did not. I called again on July 2nd to ask them to please send in the correct prescription to my pharmacy, they still have not, nor have they followed up with me like they said they were going to. It's now over 2 weeks trying to get them to fix an error they made and I am growing increasingly frustrated, as we are going into a holiday weekend and I still don't have the prescription I NEED.

We got back and immediately started our consultation -what to expect and why. We were offered (again) water. And for the patient, a blanket. She hung up her belongings (the patient). I visited HQ Dental Design in September 2022, where I was treated by Dr. Pham. First off, I want to…read moreacknowledge that Dr. Pham and the staff were friendly, but I'm deeply dissatisfied with the treatment I received, which has made me question Dr. Pham's expertise. I went in for recurring nerve pain in one of my teeth. Dr. Pham took X-rays and all different exams but didn't find anything wrong. He suggested that my pain might be caused by a bite issue and recommended filing down my teeth to prevent contact. I trusted his judgment and agreed to the procedure--a decision I've regretted ever since. Two years later, my tooth pain remains unchanged. Although Dr. Pham scheduled a follow-up, I didn't go back due to doubts about his skills. I hope my experience is an exception, but the fact that I received an incorrect diagnosis and ineffective treatment makes me seriously question Dr. Pham's professional abilities. If you have alternative options, I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before committing to any treatment (not specifically fot this place but any dental place in general). Your teeth aren't something you can afford to take risks with. Btw the reason I didn't write a feedback until now is simply because I'm too lazy.

He told me that the discoloration on my teeth that I have had for over 10 yrs and has never bothered me was a massive cavity. I was vocal and told the dentist that the discoloring had never bothered me and I did not wish to do anything other than have the filling that fell out filled again. I had a bite block in my mouth so I could not close my mouth to stop him when he drilled away a large amount of my tooth. He told me to raise my hand if I was in pain or wanted him to stop. I did so multiple times and was ignored. My Mom was a witness to this. The tooth was never even polished. I wish I had listened to my Mom when she said not to let him touch my mouth because a few days later, I cannot drink water without nerve pain caused by the excessive drilling away at my tooth. I was not given enough pain relief either- I jumped at one point because I was in so much pain and raised my hand and said "I am in pain" and was ignored. I have had dental work done and my lip was not numb at all. They proposed giving a 20 something with healthy surrounding teeth a bridge instead of a dental implant. I have been to three different top oral surgeons and they all said I did NOT need a bone graft. This dentist told me my implant would likely fail without a bone graft despite having been told by 3 different surgeons that I was young and had enough bone making that unneeded. I told him my smile made me insecure with the empty space from where I had my tooth pulled over a year ago because I needed a root canal and could not wait to get it done. I wish I had just toughed out and done the root canal a year ago. If I had, I never would have come to this dentist who either has wildly different opinions than every one else or is doing unneeded work on me. He claimed all of my teeth were "soft" including my incisor and I felt he implied that my entire mouth was full of non-existent cavities and would need to be replaced. I wish I had NOT trusted this man to do what I asked him to do which was to just simply fill in the tiny filling that had fallen out. That tooth had never even had a cavity- it was an impacted tooth from when I had braces and my old dentist put a small filling in the part that was under the gums to make the tooth stronger. I was offended by the care I received and with the information we have, my Mom and I can only come to the conclusion that this dentist deliberately drilled away so much of my tooth that he was pretty sure he would injure my nerve and cause me pain that would make me seek a root canal. Before he even touched my tooth, he said there was an "89% chance this tooth would need a root canal". He did not respect my wishes to leave the discoloring alone which as a patient, I have a right to not consent to removing the discoloring which is what I did. My tooth will be fixed at a honest dentist. It really bothers me that there are dentists out there that will knowingly cause patients pain and suffering. If I didn't have a bite block in my mouth, I would have closed it to stop him. I went from having a healthy molar to not being able to drink room temp water without pain. I would hope he is remorseful that he did not just do what I asked him to and the result is more dental work needed and more pain for a young college student.
