This dentist attempted to take advantage of me and is severely unhygienic. I came in as a new patient. The lobby looked fine, but once I was escorted to a room with a dental chair, I noticed broken cabinetry, a lot of clutter, out-of-date business name on signage, and the dentist himself seemingly had not washed his scrubs in at least a day or two. The dentist frequently scratched his beard, and touched objects on dusty and cluttered surfaces with the same gloved hands he put in my mouth. The dentist recommended a lot of treatment, and then the front desk person came in asking me to sign some papers. This is all before my scheduled cleaning had begun. I looked at the papers, and they outlined the costs for various treatment the dentist recommended (crown replacement, deep cleaning, cancer screening, etc). I said I wasn't comfortable signing these papers until the actual procedures, and the front desk person said, "These are simply an acknowledgement that I told you about the costs." However, at the bottom of the papers it said, "Patient Consent to Treatment" above the signature line. I pointed this out, and he told me to just cross that part out then sign. I refused to sign, and said I'd rather just proceed with my scheduled cleaning. Next thing I know the dental assistant comes in and tells me she'd be happy to escort me out...without the cleaning!!! She claimed that they couldn't perform a regular cleaning because the dentist recommended a deep cleaning. So, I walked out and will never go back. The whole experience felt like a mechanic talking down to me, intentionally using language and references that I (as a non-dental professional) am not familiar with, and it seems that in the end all they wanted was my money and as soon as I wasn't going to give them more than a basic cleaning's worth of money, they literally escorted me out of the building. read more

I highly recommend finding any other dentist than this one. I had been coming here for a good 5 years or so, and it has been going downhill slowly. They don't even have dental hygienists there anymore. The one Dr. bounces between patients and they always run behind. I do my usual cleaning twice a year, and they take all of these images of your teeth. Pretty routine I thought, as they always do it. However, for whatever reason, I received a bill for $774, with my insurance covering some, and still owing $389. I am completely infuriated that they don't tell you 1, the cost, and 2, that insurance doesn't cover all of these stupid images. Why do I even need them done every cleaning? Oh yeah, so they can charge my insurance more and me, blindly. Nobody would ever agree to $774 worth of digital images, unless maybe your teeth were falling out on the spot. All they want is money. They keep asking me to think about invisaline and my teeth are damn near perfect. They want me to get a new mouthguard that costs $500+, but thankfully it comes with a free UV cleaning or whatever. I am angry that I got 6 small cavities filled, probably didn't even need to, but they got their money. Please, from one hard working person to the next, please find another dentist. Do yourself a favor. Myself and my wife are leaving this "dental office" immediately. I think the worst part above all, they spam you with texts and emails telling you how much money you have left that calendar year on your insurance and asking you to write good reviews about them on Google and Yelp. I came in for a crown repair. After x-rays, I was told I had 3 cavity's to repair in addition to the crown. They wanted to charge $600 per cavity (with insurance), I delayed suspecting this was a money grab. When they put in the new crown, they damaged the tooth next to it(also a crown). They put a temporary on, when that failed two weeks later they refused to put on another temporary unless I bought a completely new crown for the tooth they damaged. 1. They arranged an assistant to polish my tooth and tried to fool me this was the prophylaxis. I pierce the veil of pretense, only certified dentists and hygienists are allowed to do prophylaxis, and the assistant didn't do the right procedure. Then they denied having anyone available at this time. 2. The dentist, Michael Caparas asked me to do four teeth fillings after checking. I told him I just want to do prophylaxis this time, and then he refused to do prophylaxis because the prophylaxis doesn't charge as much as fillings. They told me no filling, no prophylaxis at this time. I was angry to complain; finally, the dentist carelessly cleaned my tooth in 3 minutes and forced me to sign a filling plan again. 3. They took an extra useless 3D scan examination, cost me one hour, and persuaded me they only charge to insurance. I was in Shoreline-office I had my teeth clean the assistant and the doctor was very nice.I like my doctor she does a good work. however the office and the office manager was so rude. I wanted some work done in so they gave me a price quote in writing then when it is time to do work the office change the price jack up the price and I been told completely different higher price when I asked why they said it a mistake no apology no explanation so rude the office manager is wurst She doesn't care she doesn't ask what happen. if you had a good exam and cleaning experience with them, leave with that and never ever step a foot in this dental office again. Here's what happened to me: as a mother of two young kids, for every dental visit I need to find child care.The reason I chose them to finish my implant procedure and other two crowns is they said they could complete all the work with two visits, despite their office is 25 miles away from my home and with traffic it can take about 2 hours for a round way drive.  Today I paid my fifth visit and still have one crown missing. No.1 visit was for an exam and cleaning. No.2 after drilling my implant open, they found they didn't have the abutment fitting the implant. so I need to come back again .  No. 3 visit, take the mold. No. 4 put the crowns back, but only after I arrived at the office, I found actually only one crown was ready . so I needed another visit. they promised that they would try best to fit my schedule for next visit  like a Saturday or something. However, on a Wednesday, I was called that either I could come on that Friday morning or another 14 days later because the doctor would be on vacation soon.all right...  This morning was the No.5 visit. When I made the appointment I asked how long the procedure was going to take and made it very clear that I had to leave before 11:40 a.m. They told me it took about 1 hour.  I made the appointment for 10:30 a.m. and arrived at their office punctually. after checking in, I waited until 10:50 a.m, nobody attended me. Then I reminded the front desk  that I had to leave at 11:40 am sharp. The frontdesk didn't take any action, simply told me to wait and the doctor was attending other patients.  At 10:58 am finally someone came out to take me in. The assistant was the main person trying to do the work but she couldn't, while the doctor came in and out jumping among different patients. 11:38 am ! "could I get the doctor in to fix the problem sooner?!" Finally the doctor came in and stayed more than 5 mins. He tried and even trimmed another good tooth. At the end, he told me the crown was too high and he could NOT put it on and I am welcome to come back again !!! I told him I 'd rather miss another appointment to stay longer for him to fix the problem than coming back again. but he couldn't because he had other patients ! he's badly overbooked. The urgency for him to make money is understandable but his time is time and money, why is mine worthless ? I didn't see any professional morality as a dentist and basic respect for the patient here.  another interlude about the "girls" in the office: after checking with the insurance company, I found I was overcharged 132 dollars. YES, you may never know if you don't do the math carefully for the bill by yourself. I wrote an email asking for a refund. Megan wrote back "let me ask" . I never heard anything back for two weeks. During my 4th visit I asked her again in the office, she said " ask Patti, she's taking care of the refund". but "excuse me, who's Patti?" Do you expect a patient to know all the people in your office and their responsibilities? Megan handed over Patti's name card and asked me to contact Patti myself. Well,I found Patti and she took care of it. With the endless visits, I did get to know most of the girls in their office. lol  as I have to give one star , it's for Melisa. She's responsible and shows compassion. read more

I have not been to the dentist in 15+years. I am terrified of going! It was the best experience! Jamie my tech was so great and made me very comfortable and explained everything before she did it. Be careful, they make you pay for cost up front and then bill your insurance and get money from them too! They were doing this to me for two years, before I found out by speaking to my insurance who told me they paid covered my services. So basically they were getting paid from my insurance and from me for two years. I told asked for printout of all my payments over the past two years that my insurance had paid for that covered my services but they told me they couldn't do that. i stopped going to them. they tried to bill me the following month $20 some dollars, I told them considering the scam they pulled on me they better waive this balance, which at least for that they did. I told them I don't ever want to see another bill/mail from you guys. I had recommended my dad to go there and they did the same thing to him, luckily he caught on early and they reimbursed him but he stopped going there too. Just got off the phone. Waited on hold for 17 minutes and dealt with a very rude front desk. I worked in dental previously and know how critical it is to make a good impression to new patients. I can't recommend Dr. Caparas and his staff enough at Reign Dental. They are professional, cordial and super responsive. On April 20, 2018 I experienced some pain in a back molar. I called Reign Dental around 4.15PM and they agreed to see within the hour which was very surprising. They were quick to have x-rays taken and find out what the issue was which was actually sensitivity due to the an Invisalign adjustment. I have hated the dentist in general for years because of my over sensitive teeth and bad night grinding issues. Jamie did a cleaning on my teeth before the doctor comes in for the evaluation and exam. Jamie made me feel so comfortable, and communicates so well, and super gentle, I actually enjoyed seeing her. I highly recommend her if you have had issues with sensitive teeth or unease about the dentist in general. The front desk staff is super nice too! I used to work at the school right next to this office, LFPM, and I've done "field trips" with the kids so they could learn about dental health. The whole office staff is super sweet to them and patient. I wish I could give this place 10/10 stars! I also got my custom night guard here and fitted just right. I had put off getting a custom fit because insurance wouldn't cover it for years. But I'm so glad I did, and my insurance covered it! Thank you Reign Dental! read more

Honestly, I'm really sad that I have to be writing this not so great review. I had high hopes, and my first impression was great... I thought I had finally found a place I would really enjoy and feel comfortable at... but only my worst nightmare happened. I went in for a standard cleaning, and I knew I had 2 cavities I wanted to be looked at, and I knew was going to set an appointment to get them filled. After my cleaning, they said they would fill my cavities right on the spot... so I figured sure why not... lets get this over with (the dentist is literally my biggest fear and I can not stand it- I've had terrible experiences in the past.... and this one has only made it worse.) I get extreme anxiety when I get any work done on my teeth. After all was said and done, I went home with immediate pain in my teeth as soon as the numbing wore off. I had to take several IBU profin to help ease the pain. I could not chew a single thing, or let ANY type of liquid touch that side of my mouth. This was now... just over a month ago I believe and I still have pain where I cannot have cold air touch my teeth that were worked on (and its always cold outside now... great). As well I cannot stand cold or hot beverages on that side either. MOVING ON.... Yes, I did call back after a few days to let them know I was still in a great deal of pain (which I had never experienced before) so they asked me to come in and they will take a look. I went in, and the doctor drilled away... (again, one of my biggest fears.. ugh) and claimed this would help. Nope... a week or so later I called back STILL in a very large amount of pain daily... keeping me awake and not being able to eat normally. Taking pain medication every day. So I call back and once again, they ask me to come in because this time... I realize the cavity I went in about... WAS NEVER FIXED. I could see it with my own eyes... how the heck does a DOCTOR completely miss that.... when I specifically said what tooth it was... So basically he drilled into that tooth in a totally wrong spot, which I will assume never needed fixing...and now I have extreme pain from this constantly. I went back in for this problem to be resolved.... and JUST GREAT have to deal with my worst fear again... numbing and drilling away at my teeth to fill my INITIAL cavity I went in weeks before about... To this day, I still have pain and I refuse to go back to this dental office. I have completely wasted hundreds of dollars, seeing as I paid for my teeth to be fixed properly the first time, but instead it took 3 visits of terrible experiences and it is STILL a problem. I will seek out a different dentist now to hopefully help with what is wrong. I truly feel like I have been taken advantage of through paying hundreds of dollars out of pocket, and not getting the correct service I paid for... instead I'm living a nightmare where I can not eat or breath in outside air normally anymore because of how sensitive my teeth are. Again, I will reiterate I have NEVER had problems after cavities in the past... and let me tell you, I've had a LOT. Would highly NOT recommend. Stay clear and seek out a different office... unless you want to test your luck and chance having chronic pain in your teeth. Good luck. I will say, however- there was a very sweet hygienist that was lovely when I got my teeth cleaned and gave me my first initial impression as great.... this review has nothing to do with my cleaning experience... I had a wonderful experience throughout my invisalign treatment with Dr. Caparas and his staff. First, I'm thrilled with the end results, my teeth look better than I ever thought they could, and the office was so friendly and helpful- they made the process easy. Everyone there is a genuinely a delight to be around. They were more than willing to answer any/all of my questions (and I had a lot), and they consistently made time for me whenever I had a concern. Dr. Caparas and his staff went above and beyond in making sure that I felt cared for and valued as a patient, that sort of attention to detail is truly priceless. I can't reccomend the office enough. I wish I never step a foot in this dental office!! Failed Invisalign treatment after 8 months of wearing a tray that don't fit, I tell them every time I went for my appointments and they keep telling me it will work on the next tray, net one, next one.. and at the end no result! They promised it will work by the time for my weeding and it didn't:( Imagine wearing a tray that don't even fit you for that long and no result!! Now they want me to start From a scratch and I refused to do it again plus there staff is rude to me specially the manager PAULA!!! I didn't even get an apology, she act like they doing me a favor when I paid thousands of dollars:( horrible service it's not worth it. Not only they don't deliver the service the manager is very very unprofessional and rude. You can't even complain you have to call everyday for a weeks to get to the manager and I swear they will give you the runaround after they get your money!! If you don't want to waste your money I'll suggest you not to go there!!! Go somewhere where they value you as a human and a customer! I still haven't get my money back for the failed treatment!
