Disappointed. If I could give zero stars I would. Made appointment the day before. Didn't realize I needed to put in a certain number for conceal carry permit. I should have paid more attention to my ppwk but I was hoping they would be a little nicer than they were and work with us ....but that was wishful thinking. We arrived 15 minutes before our time and they said we would have to reschedule and they "might" be able to fit us in. We could redo the appt and come back in. Well, I went to my car and redid the appt and come back in at our original appt times of 130 and 140. Now she said she couldn't take is because another person was waiting. Yes I understand but their appt was still after ours and we I figured we could be "fit" back into our original time since we were there early and ready for our original time and no one else could have taken a it time in he 10 minutes this was happening. No, she said.... I have other people that are waiting for their time. Yes I understand but their time hadn't even arrived yet because we are still there at our original appt time so if you put this other person in, they will be taken back 20 minutes before their actual appt. No you have to wait now until we can fit you in. So in the course of 35 minutes people would come in one by one and they would take them back early to their appt and completely make sure they skipped over us to make a point. Look I'm not asking you to bump anyone all I was asking was to go back in our original time slot and then we ours be " fit in" and the other customers would still have their time. Nope they refused to even do that. Didn't care. Kept making sure we would not be called and kept taking back people early before their appointment time to make a point. I understand I didn't put in the certain code but I made amends and did it correctly and they were still not helpful and actually rude about it it. I didn't ask for a special privilege all I asked was to be fit back into my original time slot and no favors. Sadly I have to return a few days later but I was 50 minutes away I was hoping they would be nice and help us out. They refused. read more

Needed fingerprints in order to get licensed to teach in CO. After receiving the fingerprints looked like an unidentifiable ink blob. Sent to CO department of education anyway which rejected as unacceptable. Now I'm in CO and have to go thru same drill again and delayed for who knows how many days. Contacted identodontknow and they refused to give refund. Now out that money plus the application fee to CO Dept of education because I didn't time requirements. If it was possible to give zero stars that's what it would be. Stand behind your product or get out of the business. What a scam. read more

I am very disappointed with IdentoGo services. When I signed up for my appointment, I thought I was going to leave with printed cards. It was unclear that they were being shipped electronically, and they weren't going where I thought. I needed them to go to the FBI and the CBI, and they're only going to the CBI. For starters, the "office" looked more like a storage room. When I walked in I thought I was in the wrong area. The person who took my fingerprints was nice enough, but was unfamiliar with any of the company's policies and was unable to answer any of my questions. When I called their customer service number to ask about sending them elsewhere, there were about 5 different automated menus I went through, and ended in the wrong department, so I had to be transferred. Finally I got a hold of a person who told me that they don't keep the fingerprints on file and are sent directly to the CBI. I also am not able to get a refund because they are sent out automatically. If I want them sent to the FBI, I will have to go in for another appointment. I'm not making another appointment because this business was so unprofessional and a waste of time. I would not recommend going to them for anything. read more

At the Hempstead Location I came to the office at 10:10 in the morning and there was a sign posted on the door that said their systems were down and you would either have to wait without knowing how long the wait would be or call number to reschedule your appointment what bothered me the most about this was they didn't think it necessary to send out an email to everyone who scheduled an appointment that day saying that their systems were down instead of letting everyone travel to the physical location waste their time gas money and Rescheduling their day around their appointment instead they posted a sign very disappointed. read more

I went for fingerprints for the Texas DPS. The lady told me my fingerprints would be rejected without making any effort to improve what she was doing. Sure enough, the FBI rejected the poor quality fingerprints. When I called the Identogo customer service number, they said to make another appointment and that there would be no charge. When I went back for repeat fingerprints, they made be pay again. Unbelievable lack of quality and integrity in their work. read more

I needed to sign up and complete the process for TSA precheck. I was literally there about 6 minutes. Emily was very efficient and friendly. I was in and out. It was perfect for a day where I had lots of errands to run. Would definitely recommend this location. It wasn't busy at all. I went around lunchtime on a Tuesday. read more

I'll be very honest, because of all the bad reviews, I really expected a lot of negative energy from the front office staff, mistakes, and to wait a long time during my appointment at IdentoGO. I had my appointment scheduled for 8:10 AM on a Saturday morning, arrived there at about 8:05. and there was already about 5 people seated in the lobby waiting. I signed in, and waited. At one point, one of the office staff came out to apologize, and mentioned that somehow there were multiple appointments scheduled for right at 8:00 AM, opening time. I waited maybe 20 minuted total, and was seen at about 8:20 - 8:25 ish. The lady who helped me was very nice, was already aware of why I was there being fingerprinted, and took me to the back and got straight to work. The entire process took maybe 10 minutes, if that. Everyone was nice, friendly, efficient, and professional. It only cost me about $10, took 10 minutes, and was a pleasant experience. Unbelievably unprofessional. I scheduled an appointment two weeks ago for this morning and I arrived early and the person that works in the space that IdentoGO is set up in told me they were not there he also said "I don't know what kind of business they are running." He informed me I was not the first person there this morning with an appointment that was told to return this afternoon. What? I then spent 23 minutes on hold trying to call IdentoGO to "reschedule" my appointment. The lady answered and gave absolutely ZERO apology for my inconvenience, she seemed as though I was bothering her. She could not locate my record so she transferred me and I was disconnected. I then went back to the website, since I did not want to waste more time trying to reach someone that could care less. Thankfully the website worked and I was able to schedule another appointment for later this week, and it did not make me pay again, which is what I was afraid of. I CANNOT wait to have my involvement with this "company" over. Someone else write insulting, I would agree, if the pandemic was not going on I would get fingerprinted by my local police. Their website does not specify anything. I called over seven numbers with NO customer service, and the one person I got was rude and hung up on me. After I tried to explain my situation but he offered no help and only said sorry he isn't responsible. I lost $150 because of no clarification from them or their website. DO NOT GO HERE. I am out $150 and time. They don't give any information before the appointment or during. I even tried going in four times which led to a waste of time and gas. Identogo now wantsx to process applications on-line. They have a poorly designed interface, with significant errors. To save money they seem to have no customer service. Calling their help number yields 40 minute-long waits, and/or disconnects. There is no email contact info. I wonder how they manage to get a lock on various States' business? read more

I am assuming this place doesn't believe in customer service because they were so rude and did the minimal possible. I went here to get my fingerprints done for my job. First of all, there's no visible sign. They have a tiny sign posted on the window saying L-1 Identity Solutions. It's located to the left of Dragon Nails. I was the only customer in there and the 2 ladies were just chatting back and forth and ignored me. Then finally, when they thought I was worthy enough to be helped and I got my fingerprints scanned. I have sweaty hands so getting a proper read was a problem but that's something I can't help. I don't need to be yelled and ridiculed at! Then I asked if she could check over the prints to see if we need to do a redo. Something I'm sure would take 2 seconds and she said there's nothing she can do. I felt she was saying that so she can go back to gossiping with her coworker. Awful awful service. Thank God my fingerprints went through because I do not want to come back here. read more

This is a requirement for PA Clearences to work with underage kids. What a WASTE of time, I have been there twice to be fingerprinted and neither time was the equipment able to take my prints. Since I had to pay for this procedure you would think that the equipment would be in operating condition, but of course not, why would I think the equipment would work. Chances are I will have to take time from my day AGAIN and be reprinted. read more

Will keep it brief. Got fingerprinted for employment. In a strip mall with a Sprint store (8/14/2013) No sign. Bring required documentations. No cash accepted. The process itself takes ~5 to 10 minutes and the staff are professional. read more

Appointment ahead of time required. 2 forms of ID required. Quick and fast service for FBI background check. One older lady who works the reception has a horrendous attitude ...you will know who I'm talking about when you see her. She acts like she's mad at you for signing in for your appointment. The worst service. I've had a TSA precheck appt for two months, scheduled work and kids around it. I have had two confirmation emails about these appts and I drove an hour to get to my location.... and ITS CLOSED for the day. Was told when I called main number " we sent you an email this morning telling it was closed"... while I was driving to it. They require a 24 hr notice of change or cancellation but can cancel yours the day of. They have you over a barrel and you can do nothing about it. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE service. read more

They have rebranded to Identogo. The appointment process was frustrating (online and over the phone). I tried to enroll online but when I verified over the phone (national number), my call kept getting disconnected and every time you call there is a minimum 15 minute hold time. My enrollment online was not in their system. Also be aware they sell your information to third parties. It's clearly stated in their privacy policy on their website. They told me I had to prepay on the phone or bring a check/money order the day of. I paid over the phone. But, when I got to this location they had a credit/debit machine. I asked them about it and they said it was really new and on a trial basis so the national company may not know about it. Although I am pissed that our state requires everyone to be fingerprinted if you are an engineer, architect, changing your name, etc, the overall experience inside the location was prompt and cordial. I got there an hour early fearing the worst from government bureaucracy, but I was seen right away. read more

This place must have been under another name in the past. I had to get fingerprints and scheduled online easily and had no problems finding the place since there is a big sign over the business location. I also wanted to sign up for TSA precheck but according to the TSA website the next available appointment was 1-2 months away. Since I was going anyway I decided to be a TSA walk-in and see if I could get in. My scheduled appointment was at 11:00 am and I arrived at 10:30. I was able to get both sets done and driving away at 10:55, before my scheduled appointment time! Perhaps the women working there weren't the most welcoming, but they weren't rude either. They did their job efficiently with little small talk. If you are wanting to get fingerprints for TSA precheck I highly recommend going to this location as a walk-in. read more

I've never had any issues here. I've been here on two separate occasions, once to get TSA Pre Check and another time to get fingerprints for License to Carry. Both times I was in and out in 15 minutes and the staff was very polite and friendly. Highly recommend this place. read more

Worst service I have ever received. Did not receive my fingerprints on time waited the 3-5 business week time. Called back, and they kept telling me it was in the mail or their server was down so they could not help. Finally, they give me a number to call to receive a copy, the number is invalid and does not even take me to a company remotely associated with identogo. I used their photo services for my immigration application. They gave me pictures with GREY background (which was supposed to be white or off white) and they messed up my husband's pictures by having shadow on the background, which is not acceptable according to the immigration website. When I called them to see if they can retake our pictures, they said that they cannot guarantee higher quality pictures and they told me to see if Walgreens can do it!! Well, then they should stop telling people that they take passport-style photos that meet all the criteria! False advertising and aweful customer service. read more

I walked into their office on the Southwest Freeway and was told I could not schedule in person but must call 800 number to schedule. After calling and holding for ten minutes, their system disconnected me. I called back and I was transferred 4 times, then back to the original operator. She was not very nice but decided to help me. I was asked the same questions by each operator; "What do you need? What do you need it for?" Before I could pay them by phone, they specify that I must have a yahoo or google account to receive the background check and fingerprints. I do not have either of these types of email accounts. I explained that I was in my car and could not sign up for a google email account while driving. They didn't offer to take my money and schedule my appointment. I could have gone home, gotten the appropriate email account called them back with the new email account address. I GIVE UP. I will find another company that is easier to work with. I am so disappointed and frustrated with this company. Never ever again! read more

I went to this L1 location a little skeptical and with my guard up. because of the other reviews posted. It wasn't at all like the other posts reviewed. These girls are there to provide a service and not to make friends with us. It's thier job to protect our identity as much as possible. If you go there.. GO in take a seat they will call you.. they handle one person at a time. and thats good I don't want any one looking over my shouder at my information while I'm handling my business..If we make good choices in life .. we don't have to hide.. if you want to be seen go outside.. if your'e feeling ignored...call a friend. After hearing all the horror stories, I wasn't really looking forward to this appointment. But the entire process was simple, painless, and pleasant. I set up the appointment the night before. I arrived at the location 5-10 minute early, signed in. The young lady at the desk (I sorry I didn't take her name) was pleasant. She took my ID and credit card and told me to have a seat. I wasn't in my seat long enough to warm it up before I was called to come to the back. The woman doing my fingerprints (again I didn't take her name) was also very pleasant. She got all of my information and carefully did my fingerprints, took a few pictures and then I was done. I was in the place maybe a total of 15 minutes.
