I had samosa chaat. It was a good choice for eating in the car, not having something too saucy or having to combine with rice. Really tasty. Did not care for the tamarind chutney that came with the pappadam, but the cilantro chutney was very good. Stopped into this culinary delight on my way to Traverse City last Friday was blown away by the flavors and unique dishes of Southern India. Daaaannnnng. This place was phenomenal. All three of us had the buffet and all three of us had two heaping plates. I even tried the carrot dessert and let me tell you, it did not appeal to me because I'm not a carrot fan. But even that was good. They had chicken tikka masala, chicken biryani, vegetable biryani, naan bread, chicken korma, and a whole bunch of vegetarian dishes on the buffet. Cute atmosphere too. I was really excited to try this new restaurant with my boyfriend. The interior design was okay. Not very organized but modern. The service was not good. I think this was fairly new so maybe they were just not prepared. We waited an HOUR for our food because the kitchen messed up. The couple next to us waited 40 minutes for their bill. They didn't discount our food so we paid $30 for two entrees and bread. It was good but Indian food is not my favorite anyways. It was good food but not a good experience. I would not come here again or recommend it because it's not worth the wait and hassle. read more

This is my new favorite Indian restaurant in Michigan! The food was fantastic, the staff was outstanding, and the seating was nice and spread out. Stopped in with my parents after Christmas. Our server was prompt and polite. Timing on our food was a bit off. We got appetizers after a 20 min wait and then our food right after. Got our drink order right in with a mango lassie for me and tea for my parents. Theirs just tasted like Lipton. I got the cheese dosa and it was delicious. My mom got the tiki masala, delicious and well spiced. Dad got the pork chops and he loved them. Dessert was lack luster. Gulab jamun has little to no taste and the syrup was thick and cloying. Wow! This large South Indian menu has everything! The lemon coriander soup was amazing, the Gobi 65 was delicious and the idli were fluffy and light!
