My schedule was so crazy no gym could accommodate EXCEPT "Anytime" Fitness". All of your weight training needs can be met here with a couple caveats. There is one of every weight training machine. The only extras of machines are, of course, treadmills and ellipticals. One stair master. Other caveat is due to its smaller size the time of day you attend may matter. Right after work between five and seven o'clock may be a small issue finding machines and may put a damper on your planned workout routine for that day. I come in the early to late morning. I've never had a problem. The gym is kept very clean. The equipment is great. Doesn't look old or outdated. In addition to the main gym and the side wood linoleum area for jump rope, foam rolling, an workout, etc. they have a small to medium sized group fitness room. I've used this room for HIIT workouts or yoga. It has a really cool feature with a drop down projector that you can select a guided video workout to follow. My favorite is to bring a stationary bicycle and use he projector for my own personal cycling session. For Crossfit or heavy lifting lovers they have a "garage" type room that has ropes, punching bag, tires etc. all kept in here on a gravel type floor. Staff is personable and helpful. I'm new to weight training and I feel comfortable approaching them with questions on machines and technique. When I first joined two to three years ago I dd personal training with J'marie. She's the best. Love her. Really helped me with physical and personal goals! Felt great! I used to come and do the group fitness classes that she held like cardio kick and punch boxing. They've made some changes and they don't offer as many as I'd like (time and fitness goals wise). More Zumba and things of that nature. All of this for roughly $40 a month is not that bad! Especially if you live nearby and your schedule is that barrier you can't get past that stops you from making it to the gym.

Recently moved to the area wanted a conveniently close gym. Their marketing material is extremely…read moredeceiving $29 BIWEEKLY just say you're $60 a month 3x the price of most other gyms. Very limited equipment in comparison to other gyms. No locker rooms, no sauna, just private bathrooms. In the middle of the gym there's 5 buckets collecting dripping water from an AC unit. Not to mention they want to lock you in a contract for either 1 or 2 years. The benefits they promote are 24 hr access and "trainers" who measure bmi and for accountability after 45 days etc. Again very deceiving they don't train you at all just measure which a $20 scale and app can do. Because of proximity this location would have been ideal but I'd rather drive 10 mins more for a better at a third of the price I could even add a trainer for $60.

When you are signing up for personal training, you must understand when they say "sign here, this…read moreis to say you are committed to this program for 3 months"- they mean financially committed not a commitment to do your best. They are locking you in for a weekly withdrawal of $65 for 3 months. As long as they succeed in their hustle they are polite but if you dispute anything they have been extremely rude, extremely dismissive. The manager of training today said something very unpleasant under his breath, a front desk manager had such a hostile energy about her . They are serious about hustling you for private training be on your awares.

DO NOT DO PT HERE…read more After a series of deaths in my life I went to my PT to cancel (after completing a 3 month contract you are forced into to do PT at all) because just eating was difficult let alone trying to work out. He convinced me to freeze instead of canceling, stating he would check in as we approach . Well what I didn't know is that to both freeze and cancel they require you to pay for two more sessions - by convincing me to freeze he guaranteed himself four more sessions with me I would be forced to complete or lose money. Hold on, it gets even better! He never followed up with me, I was then charged for a month of PT at the end of October, meaning now I have paid for 6 sessions I don't want and still do not have the capacity to follow through on. When I speak to Crunch I'm told that even though I have paid for SIX sessions I still have to pay for two more to cancel. Lovely. I speak to "management" about a refund for any of the sessions considering 1) PT did not disclose I would need to pay two more sessions to cancel after already doing that for a freeze. 2) PT never followed up and I wouldn't have agreed to that freeze without assurance of a follow up bc I was grieving and not on top of things outside of my job to survive. 3) what work / labor / expense justification can be made that I need to spend all this money to cancel when I already followed through with the contracted 3 months? We are now in December, the manager no longer returns my calls. No answer from corporate on their decision of my refund request (I'm assuming bc I have not been informed). My PT used my grief against me and had the audacity to lecture me about 'not answering his texts / follow up" when I went to speak to him about my disappointment in his professionalism. I'm so over accountable I believed him and apologized bc I didn't have my phone on me to check. Guess what - those text and follow up were non existent! There is not any missed communications between us but WAIT ! It gets better. I'm in Washington DC watching as my ex PT is booking and marking sessions complete. This insures that he gets paid from the sessions I have on my account I am trying to get refunded. Funny, I wasn't important enough to get a text / call 'hey girl your freeze is about to be done, are you ready to come back?' But he can remember to book sessions to pay himself. I highly doubt I am the only person to experience this. It breaks my heart to know elderly people, people where English is their second language; people with fixed incomes, and people who are battling insecurities with their bodies could experience what I am experiencing now. Please know the 'tour of the gym with a PT is a scam". Every opportunity they have to get you to sign a dotted line there is a way to hook you for more money. They also have a very unhealthy culture - I'll never forget the day my PT tried to bond with me by making fun of a sweet woman in her 40s dancing while she worked out. Nothing better than realizing the person you made responsible for helping your health has an unhealthy judgmental brain themselves. What happened to the space of 'No Judgements' ? The day we lost Lifestyles, a gym of integrity with a childcare area for families to this predatory, contract binding Crunch was a sad day for our community. Side note, this is not just a problem with our location. If you try to contact corporate or call any listed numbers you realize very quickly this is a business design. By creating an unreachable gap between individual gym and corporate, they guarantee a culture of no accountability. It's not unintentional, it's a business model. RUN AWAY
