My husband told me he had his cell screen repaired for $29 at the Fenton parkway location by Ikea. He has no idea what he's talking about. The repair for a shattered iPhone screen is around $65. He most likely got it confused with his Luna grill order. They didn't have the screen I needed at that location but he did have it at the SDSU location which was also convenient for me. They have multiple locations so that's a definite plus. They are located in a Busy area right by SDSU but the repair takes like 15 minutes so parking can be found right by the Starbucks or 7-11 or if you get lucky there are 3 spaces in front. Starbucks is right next door so that's a bonus and IGeeks has a waiting room inside also. Polite and professional and super fast. I couldn't ask for better! Definitely call first to make sure they have the cell phone screen you need to be repaired in stock. I wasn't picky and I wasn't driving to another place so I had my nieces iPhone 5se screen repaired for $65. They didn't have the white face so the Black was just fine with her. At 9:30 this morning I went on igeek website and scheduled an eval of my malfunctioning iphone. I input my credit card, paid $35.00, and scheduled myself for a 1:00 pm appointment using the scheduler provided on igeek website. At 12:30 pm I received a text stating that my appointment request was denied. Not impressed and thanks for the inconvenience. I hope my $35 payment didn't go through. Follow-up, later in the afternoon igeeks contacted me and apologized for the inconvenience, and offered to reschedule me. He was even kind enough to fix the fact that my phone had gotten a little bent in the process of the screen breaking and prodded it back into place. I don't know what I would've done without this, 10/10 would recommend for quick, reliable, affordable service. My appointment was at 4:45pm but he took me earlier. My phone's home button as well as screen was cracked. I got my home button fixed, new glass in gold (on both sides) and a bumper for $120! Great service! If you want new glass on your phone he has almost every color for your 4,4s,5c,5s phone. I couldn't decide between pink and gold! ( I got gold, I wanted to feel fancy LOL!) Also, if you are looking for a new otter phone cover or a bumper he has them too! Chris was super fast and great to talk too. I think he fixed my phone in about 15 minutes. I had WATER DAMAGE to my Iphone 6 and thought I had lost my phone for sure. I set up an appointment online a week later because I was out of town and with in minutes received confirmation via email about my appointment. Chris contacted me the day before to let me know what time to come down and even mentioned there was traffic into PB the day of our appointment (how thoughtful). Chris was very helpful the entire time he was working on my phone, he told me everything he was doing and what was going to be replaced. All he had to do was replace my screen and charge the battery after that it worked perfectly I didn't lose anything from my phone. Chris is fast, friendly, and knows what he is doing. Dropped my iphone 5s pretty bad and cracked the entire screen. I happened to be in Pacific Beach the next day and decided to yelp various nearby iPhone repair places. I called about 6 places, including this one, and this place had the best pricing for replacement of screens. I was given the option of paying $90 if paying with card or $80 if I paid in cash, so of course I paid in cash. This place is located in the same vicinity as Sushi Kuchi and Jinya Ramen. It's located in the business portion of the plaza and once you let the repair person know about your appointment, he'll come get you from downstairs. When I got there, there were multiple people who came to get their phones fixed, so that reassured me that this place was probably legit. Overall, the process of him changing my screen was fairly quick and about 15-20 minutes, I'd say? It looked perfect and great, but the ONLY thing is that ever since my screen was changed, my maximum brightness has decreased by a lot. I'm not sure if it's due to the new screen or some problem with my phone internally. Overall though, it's still probably the best deal you'll get around this area because I called the other places and most of them go $100+. read more

I was out of town on a business trip and needed to get my iPhone SE battery replaced (original battery....not a bad run for an old phone). The battery replacement was quick and the price was right....but.... When I got back to San Diego, I started hearing a clunking noise inside the phone. I took it to the nearest iGeeks iPhone Repair (near SDSU) and the technician immediately agreed to take a look at it. He opened up the phone almost magically before my eyes and confirmed the battery was loose. He next reached up on the shelf, grabbed some double stick tape, applied it to the battery, replaced the battery, put the phone back together and handed it back to me with a "Have a nice day" sort of greeting. I asked him what I owed him, and he said, "No charge!" Total time in the shop: less than 15 minutes (which was great since I was in a 30 minute parking spot). Please do not come here to get your phone "fixed" or else you might be walking out with more issues than you had to begin with. I went in to repair my phone after I dropped it and the screen went white. The guy told me it was a easy fix. When I received my phone back and I left the store, I tried making a phone call only to find out I couldn't hear the person on the other line (I could only hear the call on speaker phone). I then find out that my Face ID doesn't work either. If you aren't aware, if your Face ID stops working then you can't fix it unless you get a new phone. The guy took NO RESPONSIBILITY for his mistake. He said he did nothing wrong although when I went to apple, they told me someone tore a piece while during a repair. When reaching out to the repair guy and letting him know what happened to my phone, he said the only thing he can do is take his piece back and also keep $40 for his labor. Are you serious? Although he broke my phone? Do not come here. I will not not be recommending this place to anybody. read more

What caught my attention was getting the repair done in 15-20 minutes. I brought my cracked iphone 6 in for a front screen repair. Chris was super helpful...found out that I actually needed a battery and a phone screen replacement. He ordered the battery which was out of stock...it came in the next day. He replaced both and found out that the phone was still not operable. He dismantled and didn't charge me anything for all that hassle and problem solving. I took my iphone 7 in a couple day ago to get repaired. I am from out of town and they said it would take 30 min to repair and it ended up taking 2 hours ( i waited outside). After I got it repaired everything seemed to work fine until I went home and realized that the home button did not work properly. I called them and they said that they would not fix it unless I paid them more money, even though it worked properly with a broken screen. I was initially super happy with the 5 minute turn around on my iphone screen replacement but later that same day, my phone slid off the couch and fell about 6", landing on carpet and it was enough to make the screen pop out on one side. Admittedly, I should have taken it straight back and had them pop the screen back in but as it popped out so easily, I thought I could push it back in.....and the screen cracked again. I did take it back to see if they would replace the screen for free - but they wouldn't. They did offer a $20 discount as a returning customer but having already spent $100 on a phone I'll be changing in a few months, I didn't have the appetite to spend another $70. I dropped my iPhone 4S off to the guy at iGeeks on a weeknight just before 5:30. My front screen was cracked in a few places and it needed to be repaired so I could sell it online. I went to the gym and was back by 6:15. He said it would only take 20 minutes and of course by the time I got there it was done. When I got the screen back it looked good as new. I sent it off to Glyde to sell it and the sale went through. Everything was awesome. Fast and attentive, there was only one thing... The website quotes $60 for Front Glass repair for an iPhone 4S. When I got there I was told it would be $70. It's not a big deal, and I'll use their service again, but the website quote and the actual price should match. I had a good experience getting my cracked iPhone 6 screen replaced with Chris. He was polite, professional, and worked very quickly (done in 20 minutes). Apple replaces your screen for slightly less but they take 45-60min, which was not ok for me. I'd rather pay extra and be in and out! Totally worth it. Note that iGeeks is cash only. No cards, so be prepared! There's an ATM just downstairs on the corner of Garnet and Mission anyway, so it's easy to get cash. The suite can be hard to find. I had an appointment made today from his website and he declines it Bc he apparently does not work on Sunday's. Why is the website not updated then? So, a week later I was still out a phone..
