When it comes to quality, great tasting food, it is impossible to beat without driving 3-3 hours. Staff is always super friendly and helpful. The building itself is small but very cozy!

Laid back ambience and serious Pizza, salad and more. Ordered the basic salad. The dressing is their own creation perrperoncini in olive oil with spices. Not as hot as I believed it would be. VERY TASTY. Pizza in the oven. The Iggy Pep with that good oerreroni that cups up and crunchy goodness. Service is serious. Clean digs and we all appreciate that. Papa Iggy shows up from the kitchen. They has been around making pizza's for a long time. Master Pizza dude. Now for the first bite reveal and review. See Pizza pictures. Basil highlights are a bonus. Crispy. Rust sprinkled with oarmesean cheese. Excellent. Don't forget to follow it with a Faygo Rock and Rye pop to finish it all off. Totally Classic at its best !

Good food all their selections are quite yummy. They have a two dollar beer special that was quite a surprise.

We had 5 different take out pizzas and they were all excellent! Crisp crust, delicious cheese and sauce- and great toppings! Recommend 100%!

I don't get to Fennville that often, but I had reason to be in Saugatuck so I decided to stop in and get a pizza at Iggy's.

It is first, first serve but we found around 7 pm, the bar was empty. If you don't mind this, I highly recommend for last minute planning. When we were seated, the bartenders were pleasant and helpful. The service was quick. We ordered the aged cheddar pierogis for the appetizer which was a good start for two people. They were fried so you are staying clear of fried foods--I would skip this dish (it wasn't listed as fried). The cocktails and food was amazing. We ate all of our food but it wasn't too much where you felt sick. I would come back to this restaurant again if I am in the area.

We love Salt of the Earth. It has been many years since we were able to visit, but we finally made…read morea pilgrimage back. We found things just as good as before, it not better! First of all, the drive to Fennville is gorgeous! We always love the rural landscape and the quaint town itself. Definitely a destination to visit. Second, the building itself is cute, rustic, inviting, and well-kept right in the heart of Fennville's adorable downtown. Third, the staff are so welcoming, kind, helpful, and professional. We especially loved our hostess (Chrissie/Christy?). She treated us so well and definitely talked us into some yummy extras Now to the food and drinks! The extensive cocktail, wine, and beer selection is high quality and specially curated. I had a hard time deciding, but I settled on the Sage Rub. It was so delicious and refreshing; not too sweet. I highly recommend it! My husband got the Bell's Hazy IPA, one of his favorites! We started with the Brussels sprouts and the bread board. The Brussels were decadent, crisp, and flavorful! The bread was such a rich array of tasty breads and butter/salt/pepper sides. We loved every bite! I got the house salad and my husband got the special. We each preferred our own salads, so that's good! I loved the house salad because of the light and refreshing vinegarette . The flavors were spot on. My husband liked that the special salad brought together a bunch of different flavors into a sweet/tangy delight! For our main entrees, both my husband and I were eying the Three Little Pigs pizza. He ended up getting and let me have a bite: so flavorful with high quality meats, cheese, and ingredients overall. So good! I got the Housemade pasta with beef tenderloin, charred onions, and mushroom sauce. It was literally divine and I cherished each and every bite. We would have loved to get dessert, but we were stuffed! Maybe next time? Prices are great, the space is clean/safe, and the portions are excellent. And you can make reservations through their website beforehand. Very clutch, especially since it is a good drive from most towns. If you are nearby and have the time, please make Salt of the Earth a part of your dinning experience. I promise that your taste buds will be very thankful. See you next time, Salt if the E

With the lack of good pizza options in the area, I found this place on Apple Maps and thought I'd…read moregive it a try. It is, in fact, a tiny "general store" that is inconspicuous and easily missed. It sits right on a two-lane coastal "highway," barely 1/4 mile from Lake Michigan, but would just as likely be found in some backwater Alabama swamp (not an insult, just an ambience). They have a small deli in the back and the young unassuming young guy making pizzas and other baked goods. He seemed nice, albeit so what suspicious. There was also a quintessential old farmer-type playing lottery scratch-offs by scratching off the barcode without actually playing the game on the front, then communicating with the cashier woman on a first name basis (Sarah). What a weird experience. I'm always interested in the colorful characters these tiny little towns and their stores. The pizza? Some of the best I've found south of Holland. The sauce had a hint of sweetness, and the crust had a couple of semi burnt bubbles that added to the delicious crunch of the crust. The taste may not be worthy of a five, but certainly a Midwest tiny-town-in-the-middle-of-nowhere five, and certainly worth a visit for pizza, miscellaneous baked goods... or beer, wine, and lottery.
