Looking for late night food in the area can be tough. And my late night i mean past 7 pm. We got a take out crispy crunch wrap on jalapeño cheddar and a club sub. We paid an extra $4 for fries, which seemed expensive since the portion is so small. The food was good and fresh. Would go again. read more

Scooters serves a really tasty hand-tossed pizza, with a slightly chewy, slightly crispy crust. A 14-inch should feed two moderately hungry people. The rest of the menu is varied enough to please almost anyone--salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes. Our large group walked away satisfied. Nice service, good location. read more

Scooters was great. While the food and atmosphere were great and I'd give them 5 stars just for that (by the way the Greek Pizza is awesome and the fish and chips were fantastic). The staff were super accommodating to my son and grandson who had tons of food allergies. The chef and owner came out to talk with us and go through what options they had in the kitchen. Every night we walked by the place was packed, we got late night takeout one night and it was pretty good. The pizza I'd say was average but the cheesy bread was amazing! Everything tasted fresh. The only thing was they forgot our marinara for the cheesy bread. Pickup was easy and convenient. Everything was fairly priced, we would stop in again when visiting the area. read more

This was the rudest establishment that I've ever been to. After 20 years of having a service dog I have never been thrown out. My dog didn't do anything and I didn't even get a chance to sit down before the two owners attacked me. They mandated all sorts of stuff before I could even explain. They are the rudest place and I never ever recommend going there. read more

Anna is fantastic!!!! Best waitress I've ever had. So funny and kind. The pizza was so cheesy and yummy. We pretty much sampled the whole menu. The garlic bread was MASSIVE. Anna's recommendation to try the lasagna did NOT miss. Met the owner, he was so cool. Offered cake for my friend's birthday! What a treat. Didn't get any though because we told him too late :/ I assume it was fantastic as well. She also recommended a great wine for us. Can't wait to sip on it tonight. Simply a racist server , plus she couldnt handle 2 tables by herself. I was in the middle of ordering my food, she cuts me 3 times to go serve another table. Add on this the owner came shouting and yelling without investigating about what happened. He was yelling in the middle of the street. He even didnt respect his age, as a senior man, he was yelling in a way scared us. I do have witnesses plus he threatened me to remove my review from google or else he will flag it and he i guess he did cuz google they removed it without investigating also which is very bad from google not to be accurate and fair. Cute pizza place open late in downtown Saugatuck. Walked in and we were greeted right away. Found a seat and ordered some fluffy breadsticks and crispy curly fries. Then we proceeded to try some of their pizza! The BLT and the Margherita. Both very delicious. For something sweet we tried their cinnamon sticks and we were not disappointed. Definitely will stop in again someday when we are in Saugatuck. read more

The owner of this restaurant is BEYOND rude and disrespectful to clientele. Our pizza took FOREVER and was incorrect; the waitress offered to have a new one made, but at this point our kids were losing it. Insert the owner coming out to tell us that Saugatuck isn't a town for kids. Excuse me? After someone in our party told him that he was treating us inappropriately, he told them to "go back to where they came from". The one stars are here for a reason, heed the warning. read more

Food is delicious and hot. I absolutely love the gluten free crust and cauliflower (also gluten free). Highly recommend the basil pesto sauce on the pizza. We were happy with our dinner. It was very busy. The hostess/waitress was very friendly. The blonde waitress acted annoyed that we asked her to get us sauce. She said she had to go "way back" in the kitchen to get it. Oooook. She may have been busy, but we were patient and friendly. She really didn't even do much except bring us our appetizer. The hostess and someone else gave us our drinks and dinner. The blonde just showed up with the machine fir us to pay AS we were eating and said it doesn't look like you need anything else. Yes Mam bbq sauce. This really annoyed her. She never brought it out. We had to go in to get it 10 minutes later. She's rude and needs to be better at her job. Still gave her 20%. Maybe she was having a bad day. read more

At the last minute we decided to try scooters for pizza. There were two women working there that were so accommodating, so personable. My daughter and I both loved the pizza we split and the three kids we had loved their individual kids pizzas. We talked about it so much that two nights later we went back and got Pizza to take home. This place is open year round which is great because due to this being a resort town, things tend to have odd hours or only open during the season. I ordered the cheese bread and the pepperoni pizza. WOW such great food oh, and my husband got the Italian roast beef sandwich which was just as amazing! If you want pizza or a great sandwich you will not be disappointed with this spot! Scooters is open year-round--this is a big deal for locals living in a tourist-centric town. It is also West Michigan owned, LGBTQ friendly for real. Aaaand, supergood food!!! Scooters has a surprisingly varied menu, including kids options. Their bar is small but quality, the pizza is truly Neapolitan style (get the Margarita), and they have comfort American favorites like taco salad. Nice views indoor and out, rarely a wait in shoulder season, speedy service, decent prices for the area, and open late. The only thing to to avoid is the mazelike (and shared) bathroom situation. No problem, tcb at the public restroom near the park. This place is worth the bathroom sacrifice. Good for date night, friends & family, take out, cozy rainy afternoon, or sunny Sundays! read more

We find the pizza actually pretty good and it's a great location with outside seating. However, our last visit the older blonde waitress was so rude I'd swear she had some sort of personal vendetta. There was no one else in the place so she didn't seemed overwhelmed. She was just, honestly, hostile for no reason. Other than a small party, which left shortly after we arrived, we were the only people in the restaurant. We ordered wings and a small NY-style (thin pizza). It took over 45 minutes for any of the food to arrive (keep in mind the place is empty). We ordered the wings, thinking they were a specialty since they were highlighted in the menu. The wings arrived with the pizza, 45 minutes after ordering. They were cold, dry. It seemed like they were from the freezer to the microwave and late to the table. I'm spending a week in Saugatuck just to get a change of scenery. It's after Labor Day so it's pretty quiet, lots of places not open mid-week. I decided to venture out to Scooters and I'm really glad I did. The staff is charming and lovely. Had great chats with the bartender, the waitress, and the owner as well as other customers sitting nearby. It's relaxed and nice, with solid food and great service. I really enjoyed my little pizza and the nicely priced glass of wine. Recommended for a casual evening out! read more
