Took my son to meet a friend there on sat 5/10. We got there at 10 AM and waited until 1015. No one ever opened up the business, or was even inside, and nobody was answering the phone. Why 5 stars? Because our son could not have been happier here. --- --- --- We were at a park in our neighborhood recently when it started to rain on us. Our son was not happy about being abruptly yanked from his happy place, so we frantically looked up alternatives. We were thinking about just taking him to the Woodlands Mall play area, but found this place online. I don't know if there'd be a place we could have taken him that would have made him happier. We were here for a couple of hours and his enthusiasm never waned. For parents of toddlers, our son is about to turn 3 as of this writing, and there were very few instances where we were worried about his safety. The only thing we had to be careful of was when he wanted to go on the trampolines with bigger kids going a little crazy. Other than that, we were able to just slightly supervise him while he ran around. This place reminds me of Discover Zone, a place with tubes and tunnels when we were kids, but this is in a strip mall and is the size of a fast casual restaurant, so it's easier to keep an eye on the kids. Cute little and affordable place for kids. This was my first time taking my son. He had a great time!! My son is 3 years old and I paid $7 for him. Parents are free!!! This place serves food, ice cream and they have a candy bar section. There are couches and tables with outlets to charge your phone or laptops while parents are watching their kids play. There is a toddler area section which I believe needs more toys for the little ones to play. There are available private rooms for birthday parties and they offer different party packages. We loved this place! It was our first visit, got a groupon deal which made it worth coming! Regular prices are a little high if you have more than 1 kid. My 15month old was able to climb all 3 levels of the big kids playground. He loved it all. They have two trampolines 3 side areas and a big ball pit. I did find a few spots that the netting was torn, I hope they will fix those soon. They have a lot to offer, they have a party room, an iPad area and a tv room with movies playing. Just a fun place to hang out on a hot or rainy day. I'm sure there could be improvements but our experience was great. read more

We found this place by chance and stopped in to try it out (with my three year old and 11 month old). What a gem - spacious, clean, full of diverse playing spaces, including a space dedicated for much younger kids. The cafe had numerous options which were fresh, delicious, and superior to fast food playplace options by a long shot - in-house espresso bar, sparkling mineral waters, fresh cut veggies, salads, sandwiches, ice cream treats, juices for the kids, and much more. It accommodates a fair number of kids without feeling overrun or crowded, and the seating area is full of every configuration to support families - comfortable and open. We were so delighted with our first and second visits that we booked my daughter's 4th birthday event with IGi playground for late June, and it was simply a tremendous experience. Besides a very fair value (food/drink/ice cream for the kids, goodie bags, hosting help, and a mascot visit all included!), the staff made it easy for planning and executing and it was over-the-top fun! The folks working at IGi truly care about their customers, from the littlest ones all the way to the parents shepherding the ones playing. Managing my now 4 and 1 year old kids means I need to make things easier wherever possible and I highly recommend IGi playground for this - for playtime or party time! Firstly IGI has been out of stock of the socks they claim are "required" for younger children to participate in the play area. However the price for entry includes these socks but no effort is made for compensation due to lack of supplies. This has been an ongoing situation since December 2016. We were offered entry and told to just let the kids play barefooted or with socks that we provide. However when the amazingly cheap adult "shower caps" they supply for shoes break, they have the nerve to ask for payment for a second pair! Adults are not permitted to go into the play area with their socks on or get harassed for doing so. Along those lines for sanitary reasons however no one is required to wear shoes into the restrooms!Appalling!!! Secondly, the coffee and food have been abysmal each and every time we have visited. I have had healthier and tastier offerings from several gas stations that were superior to the foods and drinks served at IGI. We decided to bring our own drinks and food after several attempts at trying theirs and noticing other patrons bringing in their own food and drinks. We were turned away at the door because my cup was "branded" with a logo from another restaurant! However other patrons were allowed entry, even in my party because their cups had no logos. How do they know what's actually in the cup?? So basically I can bring in beer or mixed alcoholic drinks if I'm savvy enough to put it in a non branded cup for consumption in a child friendly establishment!!?? Terrible policy and poor enforcement of such regulations. Lastly the "entrapment" situation with their candy bins is out of control. The candy is left unsecured with no locking mechanisms on the bins that are placed directly at toddler height all along the walls. MAJOR CHOKING HAZARD!!! Everything from gummies to jawbreakers are easily fetched by children with their bare hands that also leads to unsanitary food storage conditions. If a child bolts for the candy, opens the bin and eats a piece you are then asked to pay and estimated value since they can't weigh the product a child has taken at that point. My child hasn't participated in taking candy but I've seen over a half dozen kids just help themselves with dirty hands to the food storage bins. Once again it's not only a set up for multiple micro transactions but a major choking hazard for small children's safety! read more

The food center doesn't have much to offer and the items they do have seem to be outdated. There is a sign that reads "no outside food or drinks" at the front desk, I ignore this and no one has said anything to me. Let's hope it stays that way. $16 seems like a fair price as long as I am able to bring my own food and drinks for my little one. Especially when there's so little offered. read more

This is an alternative to Kangas. It's the same concept but a much smaller scale. They do not enforce no shoes for adults which would be nice to keep the play areas free of bare feet and shoes. Bathrooms need upkeep as it hadn't been checked but once according to their posted schedule so dirty diapers and overflowing trash. There is a changing station in the men's restroom. Not sure how staff works / rotates as there was no one at check-in and no one sweeping and cleaning up trash from tables. They do not allow outside food or drink. Keeping the balls inside the ball pit area is an issue. The monitor to help watch your kids in the various play areas is nice. They have a small baby area but again shoes are allowed. There's a full menu of pizza, nachos, hotdogs, I ice-cream, coffee & much more. Other pluses, no charge for parent entry, plenty of seating with plugs for charging. If it was cleaner and they enforced socks for EVERYONE, I would give an add'l star. read more

We went to IGi Playground yesterday for my daughter's fourth birthday. We just went as a family. It was our first time there and my kids had a blast! As we were getting in the car my daughter said "I'm having the best birthday!" The workers were super nice and friendly. I purchased three of the tickets from Groupons and then we paid for three adults tickets once we arrived. I liked that us adults were able to have a free drink or snack (that was apart of our purchase of our tickets). Everything seemed clean. It was a relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed watching my kiddos have a great time. I looked at a lot of places online and their reviews before deciding to come here for my daughter's birthday and I'm glad I picked this place. read more

Ok I'm very pleased the owners added a gate to the toddler area but now there are these giant blocks that are like stairs that the toddlers try to climb over to move. First of all this is our first time visiting this place. It is awesome. Customer service, playground is clean, spacious, restrooms are VERY clean. The food is good with cost savings combos for families to chose from like Pizza with 2 drinks and 2 cookies. You also get free wifi and the parents have full view of the playground from their seats. They are also happy to service you and stop at each table to make sure all is well. The staff are walking the playground to make sure the playground is safe. It's a drive out to rhe Woodlands but well worth it. Don't forget to get the Groupon, its a money saver. We just had a dance party with the kids and the White Tiger!!!! It was awesome and the kids loved it. Free gifts were given to the kids after the dance. How awesome is that....VERY! Good job staff. read more

I'm giving this place a negative review with some reservations as there are many positives to IGI; location, price (they do not charge adults to enter), and basic convenience. It's perfect for when it is rainy out or just too hot to be outside. HOWEVER, IGI has a constant issue with hygiene and cleanliness which they very much need to address ASAP. We have raised this many times with the managers but to no avail. When we see the same candy wrappers, balls of hair, and discarded band aids--in the same location--on a Sunday that we saw the previous Friday, then that says clearly that this place is NOT cleaned regularly. Something which can be dangerous given the germs passed kid to kid these days. As I said we have mentioned this to the manager a number of times and have always been told that they are "trying" to keep it clean. Not trying hard enough I would say. I'm not sure why it is so difficult to hire a cleaning crew to give this place a thorough vacuuming and scrubbing down at least a few times a week. The clincher for me to write this negative review? Earlier this week I was in the restroom trying to wash my hands after being with my son in the play area. Neither of the two sink faucets worked. They were out of order. The kid who was working behind the counter had come out of the stall while I was in the bathroom and he was unable to wash HIS hands. And he's the one handling food and making coffee...... . I think we will give IGI a rest until they (literally) clean up their act. read more

Here's the pros: This is a wonderful play place for kids. Lots of activities and various sections for kids to play in. Two trampolines, two slide areas, a ball pit, swings, etc. Cons: Today was my third trip with the kids and there were over 35 kids playing ranging from 12 months to about 8 years. There were even two teenage girls playing barefoot throwing balls at other children. It could be quite dangerous to have children younger than 2 here as they would get run over and stepped on. I saw 4 different adults at one time walking around barefoot and the bottom of there feet were black from dirt. The staff give shoe covers for adults but they don't monitor parents who don't use them. Parents shouldn't have to be monitored but this is gross. Also about half the kids were barefoot. The admission price covers a pair of socks for each child but Igi has been out of these since December. Staff don't watch the door and are rarely at the register by the door. There needs to be a system like at Chuck E Cheese to make sure children don't get out since they can easily reach the door handle. It was complete craziness today so I stayed by my kids inside the play area. Normally I sit at one of the tables but it was standing room only today. They have candy containers so you can purchase candy but any child walking by could quickly reach in and grab handfuls of candy. I've actually seen kids do this on two other trips. The staff don't smile or greet you. They just seemed overwhelmed. It always seems like they need more people staffed here, especially of there are so many children playing. read more

I saw the video on the website and was really excited to bring my almost 2 year old. The toddler play area was dirty. I understand there will always be a degree of messiness or dirt with children but it was very obvious the kitchen play sets were filthy and missing pieces (missing doors). If you are going to have minimal items to play with then they should at least be decent. The toddler area has two kitchen play sets, 1 slide and a jungle gym climbing dome that was not utilized by any babies because they are to small. In the ladies bathroom 1 stall had no toilet paper, the 2nd was out of order and the one I used smelled like urine. The cherry on top was that used my "snack" ticket that was provided with the $17.00 adult admission price and my son choose a personal size bluebell ice cream cup, it was so freezer burned or old that I couldn't get the plastic fork to scoop anything. I took it back and grabbed a ice cream sandwich instead. Waste of money, I will not be returning. Additionally, I see in really old reviews that you received socks, coloring items and so forth but I only received a snack ticket included in the admission. read more

I applaud the effort for the idea of this place, but it desperately needs some upgrades and organization. I'm not entirely sure why adults get charged because we're all just lounging around while we watch our children play. The baby area was a complete joke. My upstairs play area for my one year old is better than the section they have. There were toys missing, random items laying around, a jungle gym that seemed for older children, and a zip tied gate that was suppose to "separate" the baby area from the big kid area. The older kids would get so excited running around they'd jump the damn gate and babies would be falling over. Not very safe or well thought out. The place smelled like feet when you're supposed to be wearing socks which 80%of kids weren't. Lastly it was so freaking hot INSIDE. We were sweating and all we were doing was sitting down the kids were drenched in sweat and complaining about wanting to go home. Fabulous and reasonably priced location to take stir crazy toddlers. Keep in mind that it's impossible to watch your kids the entire time and older kids do commingle in the toddler area. There is little that can be done about this so plan accordingly. I would recommend taking toddlers when the older kids are at school. If we go on a weekend, we have our 13 year old son walk around as security for our 3 year old daughter. read more

What we love about this place is that it is easy to get to, and even on the weekends ... it's not a ZOO! Our children love the variety to play with and it has a section for the younger children. The adult pass is only a few dollars to be able to accompany your littles and they don't make each parent pay only one, plus that includes a coffee, hot chocolate or popcorn snack. Nice enough waiting area for adults to watch children near the entrance, and the play place is spacious for most adults to travel through with their kids. I had the worst experience at this place. I feel like the manager was prejudice due to how my kids and I was treated. My toddler was super excited to play and according to the website the playground does not close until 6:00 pm. We arrived at 3:30 and barely had the door open to be shouted at across the room "we are closed I'm sorry." No explanation or anything, no offers such as coupons, or free day pass just were closed. The facility was great! Lots of variety for different age groups like for toddlers and 5-7yr olds. Any older and they'd be too big for it. I like that they have food, candy and drinks. And my favorite for parents is the charging stations for phones. Reason why I gave it 3 stars was because when I got there--no line btw--the front desk employee was nowhere to be found for 5mins, then when she got back she didn't acknowledge me for another 5-6mins and wasn't very pleasant. I have a 6 & 8 year old & they love it here! There is plenty to keep them occupied. Once they tire of the playground they go play on the tablets then back to the playground! There are also comfy couches as well as tables for parents. We also enjoy the food selection. It isn't the best but It's tasty for the most part. We live closer to Kanga's but we always come here because It doesn't get as crazy & Its comfortable for me as a parent (I am also able to nurse my baby comfortably). Plus there is usually a Groupon! This is a nice, clean, safe place for your children to have fun. Subtly Christian centered, as IGi stands for "In God I...". Unlike similar venues, the food and beverages are TOP NOTCH. The fresh lattes and pastries rival those of Panera and Starbucks. I would like to see places of this calibur stay open for children and parents many years. We stayed abt 3 hours. With the entrance fee you get grippy socks(you can keep), a coloring sheet, 3 crayons, and shoe covers. The seating is very limited. Families leave their stuff on the tables, but it doesn't necessarily mean the seat is occupied. ASK! First time here today. The temperature was a huge deal for us, with a hot Houston day, we wanted to chill with our kiddo at a cool place. One should not be hot sitting down, the parent beside me kept fanning herself. The place didn't smell very fresh/clean- could have been the temperature thing. With that many kids the temp should be cool. We brought our kiddo for like an hour, Really expensive for 2 adults to just watch our kiddo play. I understand the admission for child but anyway. The snack bar reminded me of a concession stand at a game which is ok. Love that they had some healthy pouches for kids and loved that they had baby wipes disposable everywhere. The toddler area Definitely could use some improvement. The barrier gate kept falling over almost hitting little babies. Could use some more sensory toys! Kinda bare to be honest. Today I came in with 2 my year old/4 year old as well as my best friends 4 year old. My 4 year old was being dragged by a toddler which did not bother me since my kid was older. This toddler then began repeatedly doing it to my 2 year old. Knocking him over, chasing him and body slamming him several times. I went to the little boy and said to stop and when this came to no response from the child I then told the general manager. She came over and told the toddler the same thing but the behavior continued. I found the mom and told her that I did not want my child to be touched and she said: "Is your child being hurt?" I said not yet but I didn't want him to be pushed. This lady continued to scream and berate at me. The general manager then asked me to be calm. I told her that I will not have my child being constantly pushed/dragged down. I will call the police. I realize they are kids but this is really getting out of hand. My recommendation is that IGI hire a person to manage the playground. There were 3 people at the desk with their phones and balls everywhere. It was a good way to spend a hot summer day in Texas. It's rather pricey for what it is but it seemed clean enough and the kids were happy. There are two entrances to the play area which can be easy to watch from any of the tables. It gets REALLY busy around 12 and I'm always weary of kids having lots of meltdowns around then-hungry/tired. We left before the chaos thankfully. My kids probably could have stayed another 2 hours (we only stayed one hour). We didn't purchase any food items so I can't say anything about their candy/food bar. read more

Disgusting! When I first walked in I didn't notice the smell, but upon walking around I noticed a musty smell that just got worse in certain areas of the playground. The large slide looked unsafe when my son went down it as it wobbled when he went down. The floors are nasty and the bathrooms are even more disgusting. We literally only stayed maybe 20 minutes. We are never coming back to this place. There are far better places to bring your kids. Complete waste of money ($10.99 per adult...and FOR WHAT?!
