This is probably the best birayni I've had in the Bay Area. There was so much flavor in every bite! Sometimes I've had problems with other biryanis because either it's not spicy enough, it's not flavorful enough, or the flavor is not even late dispersed enough. This one was perfect all-around. I ordered it through DoorDash very late on a Friday night after barhopping. The food came right on time as I got home. I got the chicken biryani. I liked the onions and the chicken meat was moist! There was not an option to customize the spice. It was extremely spicy, which I loved, but it did hurt the next day coming out. Everyone that took a bit also felt the spice hurt their tummies. One recommendation is to give options for spice levels. The mango lassi helped with cooling the spice. I'd love to visit in-person and try other foods! read more

We had their catering at a recent party and the food was highly reviewed by a lot of guests. The appetizers were amazing and I think everyone really filled up on it. We had fish fry pakoda, chicken 65 and samosa chaat. All three were excellent! The medium spice was flavorful but not overly spicy for the elderly guests. The dal fry was great. The chai was also so tasty and a great addition to the meal. My two small improvements would be that the chicken tikka masala ran out of chicken in the curry. We had less guests that anticipated and if everyone had shown up that would've been a problem. Also the tindora fry was too dry, but very flavorful. read more

I came in around 11:40 PM expecting to be able to order from most of the menu. Instead, the waiter rudely told me they were only serving rice dishes. I politely asked if he could check whether anything else was available, and he bluntly said "NO." On top of that, I found out they stop making their full menu after 9:30 PM, which is a big deal and something customers should be clearly told in advance. We came here on a weekday afternoon for lunch. The place is in the corner and easy-to-miss, but it has plenty of parking surrounding it. The place was a bit empty when we arrived, so there was no wait and we were seated promptly. Service was very slow and it took a while for the server to hand us the menu/take our order and for the food to come out (the wait for food almost 30-40 min). We ordered: - Apollo Fish - My favorite dish! The fish was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside and very flavorful! - Mushroom Mutter Masala - Very creamy and delicious! - Murgh Tangdi Kebab - Flavorful but also a bit dry and felt like it was a bit over cooked. - Ajwine Paneer Tikka - The paneer was bit dry and not very flavorful. - Garlic Naan - Delicious and a good combination with the Mushroom Mutter Masala. - Mango Lassi - Sweet, Creamy and delicious! Portion-wise, each entree is big enough to share and reasonable for the price point. I ordered food for 35 people from this restaurant (11/01/25). Multiple items. One item was Goat Biryani for around 20 people. While the food tray looked correct size , it only had around 3-4 goat pieces in the entire tray. It was such an embarrassment. While I handled this during party, the funny part is when I gave the feedback to restaurant later. They were like why did you not call us right away as if they were going to magically bring in all those missing goat pieces when people are actually dining. I just wanted them to acknowledge that they messed up, but instead they went on to justifying it. Food tasted good, I say. But if you plan to order in larger quantities; need to mindful. read more

So 5 stars for their takeout or a-la-carte which is really good. Probably one of the best in San Jose or even bay area for that matter. But 1 star for their buffet, specially the vegetarian side of it. The options were extremely bad and cold and the spread was less than appealing. (Friends said the same thing about the meat options). We ordered the catering from igrill to one of the banquet hall for our large party. We even tasted the food a week before the event, to ensure the food quality is good as per the taste. Out of the other things, their one of the dish was stale in taste. Lot of our guests complained about the specific dish "Malai Kofta" , when we provided the feedback to igrill, they refused to acknowledge. We told them the other food was good and kept the specific stale tasted item for igrill to taste themself, but they did not tasted it. They claim "WE DO NOT COMPROMISE ON QUALITY" but I see them failed on this claim. Be careful what you order and what you get. read more

I recently placed a doordash pickup order from igrill kebabs also called temptations kababs on doordash. The pickup was quick and parking was easy and convenient in the complex. I ordered the lamb seekh kababs, pomphfret fry, b Butter paneer masala, dal makhani, naans and kulcha. All the items were excellent and we really enjoyed the food. Second visit post-covid and food is just as delicious as ever! Ventured out from the usual order and got ball manchurian, it was really delicious. Will definitely get this more often! Small portion, but really flavorful. Should get 2x portions if you love manchurian like my family, else you will be fighting for portion sizes :P Veggie biryani - 10/10 really flavorful and perfect balance of spices. Still wish they would've added more veggies & masala, but maybe that's just me. Mushroom manchurian - 9/10, tangy and mild spicy and has a nice crunch from the bell peppers. Veg kofta - 1000/10. No other words for it. I'll leave it at that. Aloo capsicum mutter - 10/10 , wonder why we never took this before. It's really YUM and reminds us of "Dhabas" in India. Ajwain Paneer - I think I expected a larger portion size here based on the photos from other yelpers, but taste wise it's amazing. Overall, great safe contactless experience. I had found this place via Instagram. I called earlier and the lovely Sherry answered. I went early enough to secure a table for the weekend buffet. For 15 dollars it's an incredible deal. Sherry and her husband were super friendly, and made me feel very welcome. They had everything from homemade hummus to this ghee sweet made with dates, to all types of rices, unlimited teas and mocktails. The buffet had about 30 items and it was fantastic. The veggie biriyani and the different pakoras were divine. I had like 5 plates. It was fabulous. Truly a good find. I'm pleading with the team to please keep up the dinner buffet post Ramadan. Got couple of items during Covid-19: - Chicken 65: Spicy, deep fried and great taste. - Kacchi Ghosh Dum Biryani: Great taste, Not as spicy as we would have liked... Somehow both me and my wife ended up with a stomachache the next day. Maybe, our spice in-take levels have gone down. My daughter's first birthday party was held at Igrill's party hall, and i have to say, everything was amazing. These things stood out exceptionally well from the menu: 1) Sambar 2) Dal Makhani 3) Pav Bhaji 4) Chicken Dum Biriyani 5) Sweet Pongal ( a funny choice for dessert but it was good!) 6) Bhindi Fry Rest were okay, but the above mentioned items were praised by most guests. Ranjit helped us throughout the party, and was very patient, attentive and kind all the while. Great customer service! Party hall looked great (Decorator was be_happy event decor) with great lighting and ample space. Ample parking as well. No complaints. Service and operations have gone down significantly that they make it hard to do business with them. 1) They charge 1.50$ for phone orders and push you to use their online ordering 2) Online order doesn't work for the day time, they lock it until 5:30pm, and open it up only for the evening. Writing this at noon, and they are OFB for 2 more hours. 3) The dining area is tiny post COVID and doesn't look appealing as they close off the main nicer area for private events or just close it off when there are no events. Given how many Indian places are around the south bay, these issues push you and make it easy to pick other options.. read more

Ok. I'm a little embarrassed. I was really hungry so I ate it anyway but....this place is a bit sketchy feeling but the food is good. Im not sure if it's safe to eat but it's good. Ok, let's just say it is good buuuuut... I'm standing there waiting for my food and a really good size RAT stuck it's head out and stood there for a few seconds. Of course as soon as I tried to open my camera it went back under the reach-in that is sitting out front. Then, while I'm standing there, I see them put an entire dish in the microwave for like 5 minutes. Not sure what that was about but if I want microwave food, I'll go to Trader Joe's. Last and probably least. It was take out and they failed to put any napkins or silverware in the order. Did I say the food was really good. The masala was awesome. This place is set back off the main road and is a hidden gem. It's set up as an event venue than a restaurant. The food we ordered was the most flavorful delicious Indian food in the area. The sauces are thick and rich. I especially liked the Hariyali Tikki with its crisp surface and moist interior. The Malai Kofta with the creamy cashew gravy was exceptional with a fine blend of seasonings. The staff are very attentive, kind and friendly.
