Awful. The entire experience.. Customer service was awful. Another customer chewed her rude waitress out. Our waitress was okay but didn't listen well. Hash browns that I had to get since they were out of fries literally had the same texture as cold, hard plastic. They made new ones and put so much grease in them to reconstitute them that I couldn't eat them. The Monte Cristo wrap came out cold and chewy. It was disgusting. read more

Place wasn't busy. There were at least 3 waitresses and only 3 tables to wait on. Seated a good 10 minutes before they even took our drink orders. Another 10 minutes to take our order for food. 30 minutes later we were served a cold omelette. I guess they figure you're at their mercy at 8 at night in the middle of nowhere. If I could give "zero stars" I would. My mother and I stopped in to eat breakfast a few days ago. We were seated immediately and our drinks came very quickly. We waited and waited for our meals to come and after I'd watched several parties that arrived at the same time or after us get their orders, I called the waitress over. By the way, she never came back to the table after she brought our drinks. She apologized and said she'd check on our meal. We waited about ten minutes more and I asked her again. She apologized profusely and said she's get her manager. Ten more minutes and I went over to her and the employee that was helping her serve another table and told her we'd have to leave because it was now too late to get our breakfasts and make it to an appointment. I've never walked out of a restaurant before----horrible service! read more

Fast service and the food was very good. Place was clean and everyone was super friendly.

This is far by the best IHOP I have visited. The service is amazing and the food was delicious as expected. Will be going back soon.

I have eaten there several times and the service is usually good. We haven't ever waited to be seated for more than 10 - 15 minutes. Our food has always been good no matter if we ordered breakfast or lunch and the service has always been good. I would go back again!! read more

Honestly, this experience started out five stars, the restaurant was clean and our hostess and waitress were pleasant and engaging, which was a great start to a dinner that unfortunately turned into a disaster. The food was slightly delayed, but no issue, the waitress explained that they had an issue with the tickets but she made sure the coffee was full and we were well informed. The food came and it was very good, well cooked and flavorful, about half way through his omelette, my brother stumbled upon a hair inside the melted cheese of his omelette. Again, unfortunate but not a deal breaker as this kind of thing happens. The final straw was the disgusting way the manager Heidi dealt with the situation. The waitress called her over to examine the situation. She looked and with no apology pulled the plate and stated that she would credit the omelette off of the bill, as she was walking away, she paused and said, "actually since you've eaten more than half of the omelette, I will only credit half of the omelette from the bill." At that point I stopped her and informed her that my brother didn't ask for a hair food. She then responded that fine, she'd credit the entire plate. She returned shortly after and slid the bill in front of my brother and said, "I removed the entire omelette from your bill, I hope you enjoyed it." This was said in a tone that I was frankly shocked came from her mouth, she is a representative of the food service industry and IHOP and I cannot believe she gets away with this kind of behavior. I'd recommend revisiting some basic customer service before there is no turning back. read more

When this place is on top of things, it's great. It has a lot to do with the service. Some barely try to do better than a robot; others obviously like their job. Always check to make sure you get what you actually ordered because I've had more times that the server person wrote down something completely different than what I was actually pointing to. Most of the time, the servers do what they can with what they have to work with. The cooks are a whole different story. Just be prepared. read more

We were visiting Alamosa CO one day and went to the IHOP for lunch. My youngest daughter can be a very picky eater and was having trouble deciding what to order. Our server, Suzanne, was fantastic! She patiently asked my daughter questions to help her decide. I swear she knew every single dish on the menu! Suzanne was so friendly and knowledgeable! Unfortunately, we went back for dinner later that evening and had a different server. I am not trying to get anyone in trouble so I won't name names, but our server this time was not friendly at all! After taking our order, we never saw her again till she walked past. She just dropped our bill on the table without even saying anything! VERY unprofessional! read more

Standard IHOP fare. Open late which is nice but the local restaurants are much better!

I HOP in general just sucks, but the service staff are quite rediciouls. I went in to place our names on the wait list. This is the first time I was sternly asked if I would be back with my mask! I replied in a sensible but stern voice that I would but I just forgot it, well excuse me for being human. So I was told that we'd have a wait of 15 minutes which turned out to be almost 50 minutes. The first time I went to ask. 45 minutes in, I was completely ignored but the hostess when she came back. So I got up again and stood at the counter and waited for a reply, and we were sat in less than 5 minutes. Then my morning got better, who else other than Ms. Sternly mask police was our server. To be honest, you talk with me explain things to me in a polite manner, everything will be fine. You talk to me like I'm a 3 year old, you get less than 10% in your tip!! Wow, so I called in after trying to order online which wasn't successful. I talked to Heidi and she from the beggining was extremely rude to me and I ordered ONE raspberry crepe, and side of hash browns. Simple right? Obviously not, she tried charging me $11 and something so I asked why when online it said it was $5.48. She admitted to making the mistake and than told me it was going to be $7.10 and I asked why again (very kindly mind you) and she got real snide with me telling me that's what it was. So my mom went in to pick it up in which my mom personally knows this Heidi. Heidi came up with 3 ppl as "body guards" telling my mom all pissed off "why did you say you were Nikki I couldn't believe you would talk to me like that" she said "Nikki was rude so why was she so rude" than she said "well I don't appreciate how rude she was" and walked off really pissed of with the 3 ppl she came up to my mom with. For one I was not rude and my mom felt threatened by her attitude and having 3 ppl ready to fight when I would of walked into the business. Very unwelcoming and extremely unprofessional.
