HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!! One of the greatest ways to start off the new year is with great food and service. My mom and I decided to get breakfast at this iHop and we were immediately greeted and seated. What I really liked about it upon entry is how spaced out the ables and everyone was. It was also beneficial that it was not overwhelmingly busy and was not as loud as some family restaurants can get. Our waitress, Saba, was wonderful as she gave us our drinks, food, and silverware quickly so we can enjoy our hot food. Her service was so great that my mom wanted to tip her right away! Her service was exceptional, the overall service of this establishment was great, it was clean, and the food was delicious. I will definitely be returning again! read more

Unfortunately, this IHOP has slipped down in my ratings of late. The food is basic Americana, but the cooking/quality has slipped down recently. Sunday afternoon service at this IHOP are always busiest, with many local churchgoers looking for a breakfast option that also has lunch menus. While the basic dinner fare and ample seating is available, not much has changed since around twenty years ago, except that the food quality has gone down. Service is good to better than average, but nothing great either that you can't find at other diners. You'll still find the bent fork metal stamped silverware, and the plastic drink glasses, with the white ceramic mugs of endless coffee - and the trio or quad pack of pancake syrups beside their over-sugared pancakes, that they made their living off of. Better than expected from IHOP. I hadn't been here in a couple of years after my last visit was very mediocre. If you're like me and don't like eggs your breakfast options are limited and usually become expensive if you want to add any side items to your pancakes or waffles. Luckily IHOP has a combo with pancakes, hash browns, and bacon. If you don't want eggs, you can get double hash browns instead. The blueberry pancakes were hot and fresh, the bacon was crisp, the hash browns were just right, and the giant pot of coffee on the table was hot and full. Sure I didn't have to eat the entire giant plate of hash browns but after all did I really want them to go to waste? The service was very friendly and fast. I enjoyed my meal and will return next time I'm in the mood for a stack of pancakes. read more

Surprisingly happy with this experience. Was prepared for the worst hoping for the best. I have frequented many a ihops in my times in undergrad. It was late night and nothing else was open so Ihop it was. The location was ideal. Its spacious inside and for being after hours on a Saturday the service was great. I was really impressed with the new menu items from pancakes to stuffed french toast. Will definitely keep this option open for future late night food runs. read more

I've been to this location a few times and they've generally been good. My last visit was underwhelming, however. I was unimpressed with the portions of the pancakes here, they were significantly smaller than past visits. I thought that IHOP prided themselves on their pancakes- it's unfortunate that they don't provide enough to enjoy, especially for the price. read more

This place was everything an IHOP should be. We came in on a Monday, early evening. The server provided better service than I've had at many fancier restaurants, and the food was great. She even brought my son replacement pancakes when he accidentally poured coffee on them, instead of syrup! The wild berry cooler recommended by our server was tasty, not to mention the blueberries in the French toast were fresh and sweet. We'll be back! read more

The strawberry banana cream pancakes that are new on the menu are really good, though towards the end I had to scrape some of the cream off as it was really rich. The location is convenient, which is the main reason I go here. As far as service, it's nothing special. Sometimes it's full of annoying people, but that isn't the fault of the business. Don't go anywhere near here on Sunday afternoons after church. You'll be sitting on the curb outside waiting for your party to be announced via a loudspeaker. read more

Located close to the Ronald Reagan Airport. This IHop is in a outdoor mall type complex. Restaurant was super busy but had ample waitresses and hostesses. IHop does not carry Coke products so I had to settle for a sweet tea. My cinnamon bun pancakes were messy and not exactly what I expected. The food was good, especially the bacon. The entrance was trash and could use a clean up. The customer service needs work, for no one helped me locate my to go order. I found it on my own. I thought I checked it but when I got home I noticed I was cheated out of syrup for my pancakes. I don't keep any at the house so I had to work without. Here my review. I like this iHop because it easy to get in. Not as small as Ballston Common location. I been going here for a long time. Ordering the something. T-Bone steak and egg. Egg cook just right. Pancake in the dry side. But the syrup help out. I use the blue berry syrup. Steak cook right. But..... It's not a frizzier burn... But it has a taste they had this in storage. There letting there quality go down. Coffee ok. But if you come here it not a five Star restaurant. I try my brother Biscuits and Gravy and Sausage. Sausage was pork and didn't taste yuck. Biscuits and Gravy and no flavorer. I order some of there special coffee and it was ok. Not like Starbucks. I still come here or until they have another breakfast place in this area. I literally came here two days in a row. One with my boyfriend the other by myself. Day 1: Decent food and service. We split an omelet and some pancakes that were extremely filling and escaped paying only $13. Day 2: I got a free coupon off the IHOP website that provides you a free breakfast -- the Tooty Fruity that comes with 3 pancakes with a choice of fruit topping, sausage, bacon, and eggs. Very good once again with good service. I tipped the server even though the meal was free. She was extremely attentive and I appreciated that. Make sure if you sign up for the free breakfast to print out the paper it has the discount on. They won't accept smart phone vouchers. Pancakes hard on the outside and mealy on the inside. I almost gagged trying to swallow it. Syrup was watered down, too runny and lacked flavor. Eggs were powdered or out of a bucket and were going rotten. Bacon was soggy and mushy. I actually spat it out. Hash browns were undercooked and flabby. My order was on special but they charged me full price. Janitor closet was left wide open and there was a wash bucket full of dirty water and a rag left unattended on the floor in the waiting area. It's a pretty normal IHOP. I only go to IHOP for tilapia florentine and they cooked it really well at this location. They even substituted the mashed potato with steamed broccoli. It was perfectly cooked. I wanted to leave a review solely based on our server. La Etta is so sweet. She's like the aunty/ friend's mom that feeds you and takes care of you when you go to her house. She was so attentive and lovable. I will likely be coming back to this location. Side note: I have never had pancakes at IHOP (this is so wrong on so many levels) but the tilapia is really good! I understand I was alone, but I wanted to give out a $20 tip to someone for the holidays and I was extremely disappointed. I have worked in the food industry before, and if you see a customer waiting for even a water after walking past them 3 times (it shouldn't even be more than once), you serve them a water and let them know a server will be with you shortly.
