NEW Split Decision Breakfast
Charlie W.

Had the split decision breakfast that includes 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 pancakes, and thick French toast. No lines or waiting at 8 am. The food tastes good but was luke warm at best. Service was good and friendly. Plenty of parking but the sidewalks were very icy.

IHOP in the 80's was amazing. Not so much anymore especially in Auburn Maine.I was there today at lunch time. Maybe 3 tables were full . Walking in it's dirty and has a wierd smell. The smell is really off putting . The country fried steak seem breaded and baked not not battered and fried . The plate was so small they had to put the meat on top of the small amount of hash browns.the pancakes were cold the butter would not melt. I ate it all . It was average . The waitress was nice .there was one waitress for the whole place. The menu is much smaller and so is the portions , but not the prices . It was $15 for my meal and $5 for the drink for diner style food .if masks matter to you , the staff was without masks .

Everything is cooked to order so you can wait a bit to get your order. Our simple order of two burgers and a regular fry took over 10 minutes. Quite a few people seemed to be waiting for their called ahead orders. Free peanuts.

We waited at the counter for about 2-3 minutes, but the griddle guy kept looking towards us and signaling he needed a minute or two and he would help us. He was working hard as was the other 4 workers who didn't stop for one second to ensure everyone's order was taken care of. When he approached to take our oder he said "Welcome to Five Guys, well sorry we have four today, but I am happy to take your oder." NICE, good touch and great humor. Ordering process was good and he didn't mind the pivot my wife made right after he reread the order and he needed to make an adjustment. We waiting about 10-15 minutes, but watched as each worker busted their butt. There must have been 8 shake orders, Doordashers kept coming in to pick up orders and the griddle guy was non-stop. He even cracked a few jokes and interacted with customers to lighten the mood. The only reason they get 4-stars is because by the time we got home, my wife's burger was missing her bacon. My burger tasted great and the cajun fries are a "must have" if you like a nice kick to your fries.

I am shocked that I have not done a review for this place considering how long it's been a Route 4…read morestaple in Auburn, Maine. Well here is my 5-star review. Roy's All Steak Hamburgers is not a new concept or business in Auburn. They have a location, which is only a restaurant, located at the split between Minot Ave and Washington Street North. The location on Route 4 is a fun center, or a term along those lines. They have a driving range, mini golf course, batting cages, disc golf and of course their food and famous ice cream. The driving range consists of a matted area and a grass area for the more avid golfers. The mini-golf course is an 18 hold adventure fun for all ages. They have 4 batting cages with levels for slow pitch softball, fast-pitch softball, little league and big league. They started off with a par-3 9-hole course and then converted it to a 9 hold disc golf course. They have a covered area if you want to rent for a birthday party and there is also a covered eating area around the food building. The food is more diner and foot truck style, but they have a large selection of options including a lobster roll for the seafood lovers. I mostly go for the sport aspect and don't eat there often. It's not because the food is not good, when I had it, it was 4 star worth and the ice cream gives it the 5th star. If you are looking to take the kids, or the family, to a spot that has multiple sporting options to choose from, Roy's All Steak Hamburgers and Golf Center is a must-stop. They also have antique cars show up once in a while.

We have been "regulars" since 2021 and it's because of the consistent quality of food and service…read more As previously stated - great location with plenty of parking - however....the lot on the Nighthawk's side is shared with Mast Landing...sooo, even though it's a big lot, the lot has filled up to the point we had to park on the other side of the main driveway - which is not an issue - it's not a far walk, however, it can get a little dicey because people fly through this lot. We still love their smashburgers - you can get a signature one and you can build your own - they have really expanded options over the past 5 years. The chicken sandwiches are always so good. I recently discovered I loved the Jalapeño Popper Chicken sandwich. Their fries are always so great - especially if you have queso. Speaking of queso - one of the best things they have added to their appetizer menu...chips and queso- We love eating the leftover queso with our fries with our sandwiches. Chips have a lovely seasoning - sometimes a little heavy handed with flavor - but they are still delicious. I love their breadstick/pizza appetizer. it's more a focaccia bread and it's soooo good. Sometimes I just have that for my main meal. They have wonderful local beers in the cooler and wonderful sparkling non-alcoholic options as well. Don't forget to ask about their specials. In January we had the chicken curry soup - holy moly - it was SOOOOOO GOOOD!!!! And the warm pita that accompanies it. It's perfect. The shaved brussel sprout caesar is soooo good and VERY filling. While it's a small dining area - we have never found it crowded where there weren't seats. The food is just as delicious to-go. They do a ton of to-go orders. We will continue to be regulars (no less than 1x every couple of months). Don't forget you can earn Toastab Rewards!

It's clean. The staff are well dressed appropriately. They're friendly and they know their menu. Service was fast. Food was hot and it was very, very tasty. The portion sizes were large and I love my food. I was able to take home half my sandwich in my brussels sprouts, and each of us took home one of those sweet honey corn fritter thingies. I hope if you're in the area, you're gonna stop by and check this place out it's also attached to a brewery but my husband and I we don't drink so we weren't interested in that And I felt the price was just right for the food
