Dare I say, the best breakfast I've had in awhile! Simple fare, well cooked and served with a smile. The senior section is somewhat hidden on the menu, but if you're eligible, look for it. The 2+2+2 is a good choice for someone who likes a little of this & that. Eggs over easy were cooked just as I like them, and IHOP's signature pancakes hit the spot. My server Kathryn was great. What I have a problem with is the Grill cook. He is VERY unprofessional. He made my poached eggs incorrectly and undercooked and Kathryn ( my server) kindly asked him to remake it and he refused. He was cussing at her calling her a Bitch and that she was stupid. Nobody should have to go to work and have to deal with getting bullied and being called out of their name. Luckily the manager Frankie made my eggs and they came out great. I believe the cooks name was Thatius. As I was going to pay for my food he kept repeating in my face that he " never fucked up my food or anyone else's". I wish I could give zero stars. I am a 20 year US Army Veteran who served 3 tours in Iraq and my son ate this evening at this restaurant with his girlfriend. My son showed his military ID when paying his bill and the waitress took his ID and said it was a fake. She then took my son's ID to the kitchen and their whole staff started getting upset saying it was a fake. I assure you his military ID is real, but the funniest part is, my son paid his tab with his USAA debit card. this place used to be amazing. the last three visits has been nightmares. from a cook yelling and cussing that you can hear throughout the store because he messed up an order. too today visit. out multiple drinks placed order when drinks bought yet they had no potatoes no broccoli no veggies at all. when advised we was just going to leave she tried to charge us for the untouched drinks. then when I ask for manager she cussing through the store loudly. before screaming across the restaurant for us too just leave. do yourself a favor go to the other ihop in Bristol. it's actually ran by someone that knows how to run a business read more

Service was iffy and then we find out we were charged 14 dollars for coffee among the 3 of us.

We had a 5 star breakfast, but I had to give 4 stars because they were out of ranch dressing!?!?! You should never run out of ranch dressing, sorry but no excuses for that . However, the food and service were outstanding. And everything was nice and hot. I had the spicy poblano eggs Benedict and was blown away. The veggies all tasted fresh and the flavors meshed nicely with my crispy hash browns. Everyone else had basics, chicken sandwich, onion rings, blueberry pancakes, and they cleaned their plates. Our server Nahveah (sp) was genuinely friendly, happy and made sure we had everything we needed. It's right off the highway near The Pinnacle, so it's also a good location. I get the same thing whenever I go to IHOP. I went to a location in Aiken and the server was very friendly and attentive. I like my pancakes on the lighter side and without having to send them back, she told the cooks to redo them because they weren't light enough. When I got them they were perfect! We waited for 40-45 minutes, not to be seated, but to get our name on the list. The last 20-25 minutes we spent at the front. We saw what appeared to be a manager and a very inexperienced hostess. Next to us was the line for those who ordered to go, one lady had been waiting over an hour. Names were being listed and written on a kids menu. It was chaos. Then after we finally get a hold of the hostess another individual comes up and says they are not seating anyone for TWO hours because the kitchen is backed up. I understand being busy. I understand the food taking longer. But a couple of things make no sense. If the kitchen was backed up to two hours, you should have known you were in trouble and notified people AT LEAST 30 minutes ago. Second, even if you can't seat people right away you can still take their names down and give them an estimate. Maybe have a real list and not use a kids menu with multiple different lists on it. Information is key for the customer. We should not wait 20-25 minutes at the front of the check in line to speak with a hostess. Only to then be told we wouldn't be seated for two hours at all. Thanks Boone IHOP for the great pancakes... because your host disappeared for over 10 minutes without coming back for the waiting area FULL OF CUSTOMERS, we decided to leave and go to Cracker Barrell and I got some great pancakes and were actually sat and served food like is supposed to happen. I may have been more understanding but A. There only 4 tables of customers sitting at tables in the restaurant area. B. This is my 4th trip to this IHOP since they opened...... I've still not had any food from this restaurant. 2 times we ordered food with my toddler (at those times) and they forgot to put out order in. Now 2 times they have took so long to seat us that we have just gave up and left. I will NEVER STEP FOOT INTO A IHOP AGAIN. read more

Good for a quick breakfast but that's about it. Staff was not very friendly, and our waitress was actually sort of hard to understand due to the language barrier. The food was ok. They had gluten free options which is why I wanted to go. The gluten free waffle was good but could've been done a bit more. For the price you pay, you really don't get an equal amount of food. & there was an hour wait however, when we came inside to be seated there was 15+ open tables but a huge line outside. read more

International House of Pancakes is amazing, good service, not a long wait either! All of this along with amazing all day breakfast is a combination for pure success. The service was terrible. No one waited on us once we were seated. A server kept walking by and ignored us. The manager took our order. It was wrong when it finally came out. I don't know why they opened back up for 24 hours if they only want to pay a shoestring staff on a Saturday night. Its Saturday the 3rd after midnight the night of July 4th fireworks. 1 waitress over 70 moving as fast as she can, 1 waitress who it appears to be her second day to ever wait tables and 1 cook. We waited 40 minutes from the time the waitress took the order until we had the other waitress check on it and she just yelled from the middle of the dining room where only 5 of us tables were left because everyone else had walked out. He said he was still cooking it. She said it would be hot. We told her we were leaving. He yelled back that it was fine and he really didn't seem fazed at all. Poor guy had probably been dealing with that crap all night. It is unfair to put your staff through that. They are the face of service that socks! We won't be back! read more

Passing through Bristol, VA and was excited to see this IHOP close to my hotel. It was very clean. We were seated immediately. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was hot and fresh and so was the coffee (a must)! I had eggs over easy with bacon and sourdough toast. Everything was cooked just the way I wanted it. The omelette was quite large, but didn't have much - if any of the onions and green peppers inside. It was more of a cheese omelette. It tasted good. Although my biggest issue was with the onions and green peppers that was sprinkled on top. They were cold. After being sent down we attempted to order a drink and food at the same time I was told by the waitress that she was leaving (after 10 hr shift) and can only get our drinks. My vistto to this IHOP on 6/22/19 was the worst experience I have ever had. My fiance her daughter & myself where seated & I started looking around the dinning room at all the dirty tables 5-6 that had not been touched we hadn't been seated a minute our server came took our drink order & gave us a minute to look at the menu then took our order as we were wating some came to clean off the table that was behind us so they could seat another party & my fiance noticed they put everything from the table they were clean on the table behind it that was dirty not even trying to clean up the dinning room just make room for some other people to sit down this happened a few times while we were there our food arrived so we began to eat my fiance noticed her burger was missing the bacon & her daughter only got one out of the two mashed potatoes she ordered witch she sent back because they were unstable she had a refined of her drink as I later learned that she had to get our servers attention to get it as much fiance & I didn't get a refill so when we get the check were charged for bacon on my fiance's burger that she didn't get so we got that taken care of & the manager walks over to ask how everything was & she was shocked with the reply she got when I said I think it sucked as it did the service as well as a nasty dinning room I wish I could put zero stars I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone this wasn't the first time we had went there but it was our last read more
