    Pulled pork sandwich and fries
    Amanda H.

I stopped by here on a Friday night and thought it was closed. There were no customers at all. We walked in and ordered at the counter. I ordered the BBQ pork sandwich with a side of fries and a soft drink. The soda I got must've been low on carbon bc it was awful. I rinsed my cup and got sweet tea instead. I only like super sweet tea and this should've had an octane rating lol. When my food arrived my initial thought was that the fries were huge. Unfortunately my BBQ sandwich wasn't as warm as it could've been but I never said anything. The fries were so fluffy inside I could've eaten a pound of them. Like I said it was dead in there that night but if there had been live music it would've been packed. Staff were nice, place was clean, and had a great vibe.

This place has delicious food made fresh daily. It's about 20% more expensive than I think it really should be, but the thing NOT to do is see this and pull the price down and use canned mushrooms over fresh, or prepped onions from a large vendor versus fresh, so as long as the quality is maintained, I'll pay this premium and not go there daily. I had the brisket, burnt ends, fried okra, collard greens, and a glass of beer. It was a decent meal, but missing either $3 off or another piece of brisket. I'd prefer another piece of brisket, as it was pretty good. A little dry, but good.

Food was delicious. Atmosphere was great clean, service was great! Corner spot on Main Street. Looks like great place that has a band during warner times.

Had an unexpected stop for the night in Bristol for the night so I checked out a local brewery (The Cascade Draft House) and they let me know of good dining options within walking distance so I grabbed dinner at Delta Blues BBQ. I found a table inside and placed my order. Being discount wings Wednesday I tried 5 smoked (buffalo rub) wings and then the burnt end plate with turnip greens and fried corn. While I'll be that guy and say I've had better burnt ends in Kansas City, these were pretty great and the best I've ever had outside of KC. A little less crispy on the edges than I prefer, but flavorful and juicy. The wings were just about perfect and the greens and corn were spot on. $2 PBR drafts and blues rock on the radio? Friendly service and super fair prices to boot.

Dog friendly everyone!!! Love that there was a patio outside to enjoy food when with the fur babies. The tables were family style and spacious. Our party of 6 decided this was the place of choice for lunch. The menu was above the register and on the counter. I perused my options, and opted for burnt ends. Unfortunately, the employee said it was unavailable in addition to the couple of sides that were requested. It was probably due to supply and demand. We paid and waited for our food to be brought out to us in the patio. So, I ended up with the brisket, fried okra, and Cole slaw. The hubs had the smoked sausage tray with Mac and cheese and potato salad. My in laws had pulled chicken sandwich, brisket sandwich with fries. I forgot what my brother in law and gf ordered lol. So....the brisket was lukewarm, a little tough, and dry. The batter for the fried okra was bland and underwhelming. But, the coleslaw was great! It came with a simple white slice of toasted bread . My better half sausage had a nice smokiness flavor. The Mac and cheese were good, but the potato salad was very sweet. To each its own, some prefer sweet, and others savory. The fries were seasoned well. We would come back again for the dog friendly environment and hopefully burnt ends are on the menu!!!

Super friendly staff. Fast fresh service. I ordered the catfish, grits, and slaw. I feel like they need a stronger sauce option for tarter or hot sauce the bbq sauce options didn't do it for me. The catfish was lightly breaded and not too heavy. I did snag a bite of the brisket and it was excellent. Definitely check it out if you are in the area.

State line bar and grill is just a few doors down. This grill, it appears, to be in a converted warehouse space. It is likely the whole block was a warehouse which was sectioned into separate commercial properties. It has 20' ceilings with tin ceiling tiles and nice industrial wood flooring. They have live music and karaoke nights. They have a nice selection of food. Seafood, burgers, quesadillas, wings, salads, wraps ... I tried their mushroom Swiss burger which was huge, juicy and delicious. I needed to cut it in half to figure a way to attack it and a lot of napkins. A fun fact: it is the State line grill because it is in Bristol TN but you cross the street and you are in Bristol VA! If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping in to try it out.

Sidewalks are partly covered so weather is not an issue, but crowds would make the trip more difficult. There are also several street buskers which can draw crowds, so just be aware and not in a hurry. You enter on the corner into the main seating area which is sort of separated by a hostess stand and the back of a booth. We were greeted right away and told to sit wherever we wanted. Seating is a mix of booths and tables and we selected a booth next to the window. Our server came right away and took our drink orders. There is also a board next to the hostess stand with listed specials. Looking over the menu, these were just regular menu items at regular prices. Our server returned and took our food order. The food took about 20 minutes to arrive, which was a little longer than expected. The bbq pork sandwich was dry and did not have a lot of flavor. The bun was fine but the dry meat made it harder to chew and took a lot of water to finish. In addition, the homemade chips were very crispy and salty. This plate left me parched even after drinking three glasses of water. The burger, however, was good. The meat was fairly juicy and toppings were fresh. The same homemade chips accompanied the burger and were also crispy and salty. The bathroom was in poor condition and appeared not to have been cleaned in some time. This was brought to our server's attention, who did not seem too concerned. Maybe this is a good place if you are seeking out music and alcohol, but there are many other options if all you want is lunch.

Tri-Seoul is a family owned business, and the owners absolutely put their hearts, souls and incredible culinary talents into this restaurant. Hey, when the food is this good, one bowl just is not enough. The beef, chicken and spicy pork proteins were all delicious, but surprisingly if I had to choose I'd probably go with the chicken--the seasoning was excellent. The fried "Mandu" dumplings are a terrific appetizer, as are both the soy garlic and spicy wings. And a little insider secret from one of the owners ... don't miss the sweet radishes--such a perfect compliment to the wings. Finally, the cucumber and traditional kimchis are equally good, and the spice level is spot on.
