First of all, this review for four stars is based on the staff. We had breakfast here two days in a row. The second day, our server remembered what I had ordered the day before! Wow! She was very attentive, friendly, with a good sense of humor. The breakfast I got was two eggs, hash browns and toast. It was so reasonably priced too. The one cook we saw both days was really nice and you could tell the employees all seem to gel together. They really have an efficient system between them. They all seemed to get along well. Though some of the ingredients aren't top notch, for the price, I felt it was very reasonable and it was good. It's hard to mess up what I had and they presented well. Myranda moved like there were no customers and she was bored. I waited probably 20 minutes to put in my order, which was only that fast because I started stopping people as they went by me to ask to order. She took my order like it was an annoyance. Then, when the food was ready she tried to give me a different table's order. After my meal I saw a new customer sitting and looking around for a long time, also waiting for someone to acknowledge him; meanwhile Myranda ambled back-and-forth past him looking bored but not acknowledging him. The other staff members were hustling as if it were the packed 10am Sunday morning that it was -- especially Lydia who was expediting and moving full speed like all the cooks and everyone else. This was my second visit, the first time was awesome with a server named Jamie. Seems the trick is to come when she's working. The food was solid. Horrible customer service you will wait over 25 minutes for your food and as most people know that go to Waffle House you usually get your food within five minutes. They had two people working. The poor cook was doing all the work while the girl in the front was just as lazy as she could be like she didn't wanna be there was taking her time helping the customers. This was during late hours so you could not go inside, you had to order from the walk up window. They definitely needed more workers or at least a more competent one instead they hired a security guard that stood outside and did absolutely nothing. This was the worst waffle house I've ever been to and then we felt sick after eating the eggs, would definitely not go back to this location again, which is very disappointing because we have plans to travel to Indianapolis a lot this year and it's very convenient to the airport so we'll have to find a different location read more

If you're looking for a solid diner spot with awesome waffles, the best shredded hash browns, eggs, etc., this is where you wanna be. Like many restaurants, labor shortages might mean the tables aren't immediately bussed or the wait is a bit longer. If that bugs you, come at an off peak time to likely improve your experience. I've been coming to this location since I was a little kid. The service is always good, usually with a smile, and people here appreciate kind patrons. My usual order is a small orange juice, chocolate chip waffle, and bacon extra crisp. I also enjoy my hash browns scattered, covered, and smothered. YUM! Went in around 1a and it wasn't too busy so I figured we'd get something to eat pretty quick. Well, that wasn't the case. It took around 15-20 minutes for our waiter to even get to our table and it seemed like even longer to get the food. I just ordered a waffle and it was alright, everyone with me was baffled that I ordered a waffle so I was a bit worried about that. The floors were super sticky and the tables kind of sat needing bussed for quite some time before someone could get to them. Based on that, I'm not going to be too picky about a truck-driver haven/greasy-spoon dive. So yes, I loaded up my boys and drove 50 minutes to the closest WH for some hashbrowns, waffles, cheesy eggs, bacon and more. And yes, it was completely and totally worth it. We were hungry at 2am, so we stopped by the Waffle House since they are opened 24 hours, and located near our hotel. I was surprised that it was crowded at 2am, we actually had to wait for a table. The wait wasn't too long, the restaurant seems small but there a good amount of tables. It was difficult to pick something to eat, so many items on the menu and everything seemed delicious. I got the steak and over easy eggs with hash brown, the steak was so thin and chewy, the eggs were sunny side up and looked undercooked so I didn't touch it. I forgot to take a photo of my food! My nephew ordered the pork chop and eggs, and he gave me one of his pork chops since his order included 2. The pork chop was delicious, it was freshly grilled, juicy and flavorful. Just you typical humid WH, with sticky floors and staff yelling across the building. The menu at Waffle House in general is extremely confusing. I told the waitress we needed more time because it was my boyfriend's first time there and we were having a hard time understanding the menu. I said "I'm confused by the menu," to which she replied "what do you mean?" The menu is basically all pictures and you pick which plate you want. I guess I'm just used to ihop. She came back two minutes later and asked if we were ready. We said no. She then returned two more minutes later and we just decided to choose something since we were STILL confused. Reason why I have the 3 stars was because they need to keep up with the cleaning up in the restrooms and restaurant it self cleaner. But food was good and the ppl working there are nice and friendly though. At first, the Waffle House seemed like a cute place to get some breakfast in the morning (beside the scenery). The waitresses took our orders fast, and water came out quickly. But, the water was unfiltered. It was yellow and brown tinted, and tasted like toilet water. Upon receiving our food (which was fairly cheap, but for good reason), it tasted funny. It was flavorless, and made us feel sick. The eggs looked like powdered ones, and the toast was soggy. My friend decided to order a waffle after her poor food experience, which is sad enough already, but she did say it was a 7/10. After this experience, we wanted to get out IMMEDIATELY.
