Breakfast burrito
Joseph S.

I remember going to Ihop a long time ago and we decided to check it out again. Not really a great experience overall. I ordered their new big breakfast burrito and ordered no cheese in mine. She responded back with no cheese? I said yes please, no cheese. Well, it came with cheese in it. The sausage on the inside taste rubbery and was not worth getting. I hate to leave a bad review, but I think I'll be good with another 4-5 years, if not triple that, not visiting Ihop. Never got a refill until the check came, so that should tell you why I couldn't address the problem of my burrito, and I went without a drink a long time before the check came. I tried to get her attention and I understand if she was helping a fellow coworker with a big table, but don't forget to quickly acknowledge the table that's appointed to you to serve, in case food was cooked wrong or needing a refill. As I said, I get it if you have a giant party, but I counted 3 servers at 11:30 pm makes me think at least 1 could have at least took a split second to at least ask how's the food once we digged into it like other places, but that never happened.

What they show you'll get...

In all fairness I went on a Sunday and we all know breakfast/brunch on a Sunday is going to involve some busy time in any half decent restaurant. Long story short, their advertised "made from scratch, made with love" February chocolate pancakes are horrible. And the "combo" with 2 eggs and bacon will surprisingly run you over $18. Dry, no butter offered, two TINY slivers of strawberry...if you're going to serve food so far from what you advertise, you shouldn't have the picture on the table for me to see when the disappointment of a meal arrives. Just look at the pictures, that's the real review.

Cupcake Pancakes
Sarah W.

It's been awhile since I've been to an IHOP so we decided to stop in today as we were in the area. As a pancake fan, I was looking forward to trying their specialty cupcake pancakes, which as advertised are pancakes filled with sprinkles and topped with purple vanilla icing. I ended up getting the pancake combo and for only $8 and some change, you get 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, 2 pieces of meat, and hash browns. So I feel like I can't be too disappointed that the cupcake pancakes did not have any purple icing and the sprinkles seemed to be not particularly well dispersed. They were still good, just nothing to get too terribly excited about. My eggs, turkey sausage, and hash browns were better than average though. My husband's Swedish crepes were also pretty tasty too. Contrary to many of the reviews the service was fantastic. Perhaps we caught them on a good day or things are getting better. The safety precautions were on point as well. So while we probably won't make this a routine stop. It was definitely worth the trip.

Cowboy Bbq (black Angus)

I haven't visited IHOP in many years. Me & my boyfriend, wanted something to eat while out & decided to stop by, not thinking a legendary & well known business will turn out to be a horrific dining experience. We arrived inside and it was empty, no one in sight, no one in the front to greet or seat us right away. Walking through the restaurant, we noticed a lot of empty booths and seats. We was seated in the back which we felt immediately a cold drift coming from the window & door near are table. Once seated, our drink order wasn't taken right away, a nearby waitress cleaning up a big mess from previous guests, decided to take our order, which we appreciated. Well another waitress named Misha seen that & taken over her table & our orders, she wasn't friendly and had a nasty attitude, she shortly return with our drinks. We ordered our food, after while our food arrived. Cheese sticks- Tasted like they was frozen & placed into a microwave, no melted cheese inside, they was serve with cold marinara. Cowboy burger-Lack flavor and enough bbq sauce to balance the burger & toppings. French fries was hot as in temperature and seasoned well. Pancakes- They was not cook throughly and I was serve cold syrup, even the syrup at McDonald's isn't cold. To only be told by Misha the waitress with the attitude problem, they always serve cold syrup for pancakes, she did offer to have my pancakes remade. To my surprise my pancakes tasted much better and I received warm syrup. Also there was no complaints with my Turkey bacon. Will I dine in again, NO. That place needs deep cleaning. Will I eat their food again, absolutely not.

I wanted so much more from my experience. I continue to give this location chances and time and time again, they disappoint. What's that definition of insanity again?! That last time I sat and ate in this location, prior to COVID-19, they were literally out of 50% (not a guesstimate) of what I ordered. Recently, I ordered dinner for my 93 year old grandmother and I. Please see picture attached of the her Roasted Turkey Meal. The turkey was cut up in pieces as opposed to sliced, the potatoes we runny and the gravy was missing. My fierce, fiesty, tell it like it is grandma was not a happy camper- and guess who had to hear about serving her a "Meels on Wheels meal" (her words, not mine). The mozzarella sticks have always been a favorite of mine on their menu. I order them 100% of the time I go. Last time they were out. This time they were really heavy when I picked them up. I tried to give a benefit because they may not have been accustomed to packing for transport and thought it was just wet from condensation in the box. However, upon further inspection they were grease soaked, hallow and just sad. Inedible. I wish this would have been better.

Trash over flowing not very welcoming to public eye

Disclaimer: This is a honest review and hope it helps . 1. Walked into the Ihop trash over flowing on outside. sacred to check bathroom held it till went home. 2. one sever that was apologizing the whole way till we got sat 10 mins after waiting ( this is for you door dashers this location is famous for making you wait hour and half to get your order out you will lose money lost 60.00 waiting and they did nothing) mind you this is all 3rd shift. 3. "the manger " slash cook. not presentable I would have just have waited at a jacksonpike plate if I knew what I got into. 4. group of minors, that was loud and obnoxious nothing was done it's a anything goes crowd after 9pm drunk customers the smell of weed over flowed the establishment I was blown away very sad. 5. FALSE ADVERTISING!!!!!- will explain why the beef bowl was 11.29 it looked full in the picture I get it to my table they might as well have given me a cup of hot water and ramen noodles I pay a dollar charging me That price for a bowl that was skimpy and the avocado didn't even look that bright green welcoming first bite it was dull brown and not appetizing.ohh the best part that had me shaking my head was the manger said it was pre portioned now if that's the case that means your food cost is through the roof. I drank my coffee which was the best part of the 40.00 hard earned dollars I worked hard for and places want 17.00. A hour for what ?? this is just crazy it used to be a good place to eat on the late night side but it has become. A thorn in Hilliards side like that car gang they so brag about smh any way double check before you go on the 3rd shift better off door dashing McDonald's makes me cringe even having to come to that photos below explain why I wrote what I did stay classy. Beware where you spend your dollar !!!!!

Kind, personable, and genuinely warm exactly the kind of energy that makes a meal feel like more than just a meal. If you've seen The Menu, you know that scene where all anyone really wants is just a perfect, unpretentious burger done right. Thurman's is exactly that. The burger was everything it needed to be no gimmicks, no shortcuts, just a beautifully made sandwich that delivers on every level. The fries? Equally on point. Honestly, I have no notes. None. The beauty of a Saturday afternoon is there were sports on and TVs hanging on the walls. That made the wait easy. Boy do they know their stuff bc it was pretty much one hour to the minute when they called our name and escorted us to our table. We sat in a booth and took in on the collection of various items around the bar that have been gathered through the years and had some laughs at some of it. It was almost like a fun game of eye spy! They came to take our drink order and by the time they returned we were ready to order. We chatted for a bit and our food came out in what seemed to be a good time. I ordered the Patty Melt with onion straws. My husband got the Thurman Burger. We were surprised by its size when they came carrying it out to our table. Believe it or not he ate every single bite. Said it was delicious. Mine was equally as delicious. Maybe not quite as big but that was fine by me. I actually quite enjoyed that they served the 1000 island on the side. It made it way easier to eat. The cheese was nice and gooey. Just perfect. The onion straws were good too. I shared those with my husband. They were actually just as good on their own as they were dipped in any kind of sauce. That's big coming from me bc I love dipping! We got a box for our leftovers and headed out happy with a great first time experience here.

Wanting wings, I ordered the Garlic Parmesan and tots. They offer grilled or fried and I thought I ordered fried but these tasted more like grilled. I was wanting that fried crunch but got more of a well cooked bite with a creamy garlic white sauce, then sprinkled with Parmesan. It was still good but when you're expecting crunch, it's slightly disappointing. Still a good wing but I wouldn't put it in the top 5. The tots, now they made up for the crunch. The Blue Cheese was exactly what I like, sweeter with a little funk. Maybe I should've specified fried. Wings are an indulgence to me. I don't want the healthy version. I want that crunchy-Lipitor sponsored-defibrillator on stand by-I can see my blood flowing-We'll start the diet Monday goodness that only a perfectly fried wing can offer. Still good tho.

No exaggeration, this was one of the best chicken Parmesans I've ever had, and that includes versions from legit Italian restaurants. The chicken cutlet was super crispy and perfectly seasoned, with a coating that was flavorful and satisfying without being too heavy. The portion size was just right, not too big, not too small. I appreciated that the mozzarella on top was fresh and sliced, not the usual shredded kind. The sauces (yes, plural!) were rich and full of flavor, tying everything together beautifully. The only thing I think it was missing? Some garlic bread of some sort to go with it. That would've made it perfect. But honestly, it was still a fantastic dish on its own. Highly recommend giving it a try if you're anywhere near East Market. I'm already looking forward to going back and seeing what else is good on their menu.

Based on her suggestions, I ordered the Southern Spring Rolls and the Loaded Brussels sprouts with feta and cranberries; both were phenomenal, especially the dipping sauces she provided for the rolls. My main course, the Arch City Burger, was cooked to perfection on a nicely toasted bun, and the Caesar salad I ordered as a starter was fresh and crisp although dressing was average not my preference. To finish, both the Night Shift martini and complimentary tiramisu were delicious. While I had an overall excellent experience and plan to return soon, I did want to provide some constructive feedback regarding the beverages here. I was disappointed that bottled water was unavailable. Additionally, I found the $17+ price point for pre-batched cocktails to be quite high, as I generally prefer a freshly made drink. However, I was very pleased that Dane was able to accommodate my request for a fresh Buffalo Trace Old Fashioned instead. Thank you again for a lovely lunch and pass my compliments along to Dane for her outstanding hospitality!
