Rudest waitress we have had in a while. She brought two orders that were incorrect so we returned them. She didn't say a word. Took the plates and came back later and literally slammed the plates down. Not a word, not an apology. She brought the check and again dropped it and didn't say a thing. After I paid she brought the receipt and turned around and left. Maybe she was having a bad day, who knows. I still tipped her 20% because I don't believe in punishing low paid waiters who rely on tips to make a living but honestly she needed an attitude check. I have to say that my visit today was the best. My server Alex was very attentive to my needs. He had my drink to my in record time as well as taking my order. The burger I ordered was served hot and delishous. Alex made sure my drink was refilled when the glass was getting low. Alex offered ne a drink to go as I finished my meal. It's been over ten years since I last visited IHOP. A few things have changed & not for the best but for the worst. I had to send my food back twice due to being served cold & greasy. Pancakes are suppose to be big & fluffy but instead came out small & flat. Eggs taste plain & has no flavor. My coffee cup had lipstick stain. Seated fast, and food was great. After that was where it went bad. We waited 25 minutes to get our check, mind there were about 4 tables seated in the whole place, and our waitress was standing by a table right behind us, talking to what seemed to be her & another waitresses friends. I get you wanna stop by a table of your friends, but standing there cursing loudly with them in front of the whole restaurant? Probably not. They need to work on hiring cleaner people to work with food. I used to go to this location often with my fiancé but I spare you the gross tmi experience we had there with our last server there...apparently he had a nasty sinus infection and thought it would be okay to handle the situation with his bare hand while describing parts of the menu. This wasn't the only time we ran into a server with poor hygiene and openly unsanitary. If you don't want to get sick from mishandled food I'd suggest staying away. read more

Regardless what you or your kids order, it can be substantially improved by dousing it heavily with ketchup or syrup, both of which are provided on a complimentary basis. What makes this IHOP location unique is that it is not located in a "no-fly zone." Coming here tonight was a very exhausting process. We arrived at 6:17pm and didn't leave until close to 8pm. There was probably maybe only 4 other tables and it took over 30 minutes for 2 kids meals and 3 adult entrees!! This was ridiculous. No sort of apology for the delay was given and when we got our food it wasn't even right. Not to mention the server brought my iced coffee in a cup with a lid... I actually had to ask for an adult cup. The presentation of the staff was that or bored or uninterested in the customers. This is extremely sad, especially in a national chain. Horrible service, only one server when we were there around 6pm. We ordered the topless fries and drink with our brunch burger. It was a good burger but they brought us out our first fries which was barely any we asked for one more before we left still the same. I got a whole plate of food dropped on me. I completely understand that things happen and felt horrible for the waitress who made this mistake. My issue is with how management handled this or lack there of. Not only was only $6 taken off my meal for this.. the manager was too cowardly to come and handle this situation herself. She had the girl who dropped the plate on me come and charge me damn near full price for this meal knowing that we were probably not going to appreciate this tiny gesture. No manager ever came to speak with us or apologize for this incident. How does this happen? Someone gets a whole meal dropped on them and the manager does nothing. Serves me right for coming to an IHOP. We called and asked to speak with this manager after we left and were treated with nothing but disrespect. I feel bad for the employees who work for her. I really wish there was a way to rate this restaurant and IHOP corporate separately. There isn't, is there? Anyway. This particular location has a good staff, nice and efficient. The food was as ordered and correctly prepared. But, come on IHOP! Every single meal doesn't have to be about shoving as much sugar and salt and fat as possible into the food. And I use the term "food" loosely. I think a high percentage was food coloring and chemical flavorings and fillers. I mean, I know you don't go to IHOP looking for health food but I used to be able to get a Simple and Fit combo that was reasonably sized and the harvest grain and nut pancakes had some texture to them as if they contained actual grains and nuts. That combo is gone. You can get the same thing but with hashbrowns so now I have two starches for some reason. The pancakes were mushy, like white flour which technically is a grain but not what I had in mind, with a few lumps that I guess must have been the nuts. Everything else was salty as hell. Looking at the pictures on the menu...I mean...are we just rooting for the diabetes now? Do you guys have stock in the pharmaceutical companies? What's the business plan for the future? Unless you want to find yourself teaching toddlers to mainline corn syrup in ten years, try just keeping your good staff but having them serve decent, well seasoned food. read more

We were given the table but we were just seated and were never asked if we wanted any drinks and we waited for about 25 minutes before walking out. I made an order today at iHop off of I-45 in Conroe, TX for a pick up at 11:10am. When I got there my order was not ready (I had asked for an order for Jared when I walked in since it was 11:11am already) and they told me it was being made. Being that they were swamped it was no big deal. I see them keep bringing orders to the front but they never say anything to me. So, I kept waiting. Right before I got my order a lady ordered some tres leches pancakes. As the guy is putting them in the bag the container falls and messes up the pancakes. He begins to analyze the pancakes and proceeds to ask one of the managers if they were still good. The manager says, yes they are still good we just need to put them in another container. They did that and gave it to the lady instead of remaking her order. She didn't even notice what they had done even being less that 6 feet away, because she was too busy on he phone. I finally had enough of waiting since the lady who's pancakes got flipped ordered after and got her order before me. I asked for my order again and they finally gave it to me at about 11:35. 25 mins late. I wouldn't have even left this review if I didn't see the sneaky thing they did to that lady. That's unacceptable. Then to top it off my order sat on that table for a good while before they gave it to me despite it being up there and despite me telling them I was there. read more
