My husband and I went there on Friday because we saw a huge banner breakfast special of $4.99 Monday through Friday. We sat down, coffee was served, and we let our server know that we would like the $4.99 breakfast special, he tells us they're not honoring that today it was Veterans Day. I asked to speak to the manager, he tells us the owner is here and he'll send him to our table. The owner came to the table and I proceeded to tell him that we wanted to order the special and it was not right that he not honor a special that was being advertised with a banner hanging from the front of the restaurant, he told me that the banners says see store for details. Bottom line is that because it was Veterans Day he got greedy and didn't want to honor his breakfast special banner. I told them that we would just go next door and have our breakfast at the lucky Greek coffee shop instead, he said okay and we walked out. I will never go there again. I was excited when I checked in and saw a 10% discount but after the owner viewed the coupon from yelp they noted that the Check in coupon is not valid. I would highly advise that the establishment updates the coupon and remove it so that yelper guests won't be mistaken. Other than that the service was amazing!! Our waiter Michelle was awesome! Friendly and just on point.. we never ran out of juice or coffee and any request we gave she pleasantly satisfied our needs. I had the California Scramble with Sourdough Toast and a side of Turkey Bacon Food came quickly and was delicious! This location also has wifi!!! So that is a plus. read more

This IHOP is DISGUSTING. My company treated us breakfast 'to go' this morning to show appreciation for our efforts. I ordered the steak omelette. At first when I bit into it, I thought it was delicious and was completely satisfied. Until I started finding hairs in my omelette. I found a small strand on one of the tomatoes and I'm not a huge germaphobe so I continued. Typically, when I find a strand of hair, I just push it aside and ignore it because I understand it happens once in a while. But it didn't stop there. Each time I cut up the omelette, more strands started revealing itself. I kept cutting to see how much hair was in there and I found a significant amount. There were multiple strands that were clumped together like wet hairs you would find when you mop the floor. I immediately called IHOP and talked to the manager (Alex). He asked for me to come in with the meal and he would reimburse me for that single meal. Normally, when you find something that disgusting, I would expect them to reimburse everyone's meal because all my coworkers STOPPED eating their food. So I came in and spoke to Alex and showed him the hair. He told me that it didn't come from their restaurant. Basically, implying that I planted the hairs. I work for a pharmaceutical corporation....why would I scam an IHOPs for a meal? He gave me the money for the meal and tried to extinguish the situation as fast as possible. Okay, I get that you don't think that the hair came from your restaurant, but professional etiquette dictates that you respond to the customer with "I will look into the situation" or say you will find a way to correct the issue. Our experience at this place have never been wow. We always pay extra for New York cheese to be added to our pancakes but as usual they only put like 3 pieces of cheese. Today was not the exception, when I bring up to the server and show her pancake she is quick to tell me that portions are already made. No apology or offered to get me anything else or pay extra to add more. She then proceeds and takes our coffee when we are not even done. Service was awful. Maybe because they were short handed but the manager just stood there watching the only 2 waitresses run back and forth helping a full crowd. Our waitress acted like she was on crack. Spent almost $3 for a strawberry lemonade with no strawberries in it, only strawberry syrup mixed in with the lemonade. One of the waitresses kept going to the table behind up helping them because she knew them but once she was done just walked past us and didn't bother to ask if we needed anything. We went for breakfast before a road trip to San Fran. It was on the way to the freeway so it worked. I have been to this one more than a dozen times in the past few years. The service is consistent especially the times that I went, were on the weekends. The food....it's what you expect at an IHOP. You get the craving for IHOP. It's not a mom and pop diner or a competing chain.... it's IHOP. It's good or great depending on how hungry or hungover you are and how convenient it is. So, for me it's good and great! read more

My husband and I wanted a quick breakfast after attending a Thanksgiving service and dropping our son off to work. We wanted to also stay close to home with all of the holiday traffic, so we stopped at this i-Hop by our home. I rarely can say that I've had a bad experience at iHop but what was unique about this location was the management and his generosity in allowing us to use a Yelp offer that apparently had expired. I can't remember the manager name that was working that morning but he was very accommodating to us and left a us with a feeling of good customer service. Very rude stuff. I politely asked if my coffee can be replaced because it looked and it tasted like water. The waitress (who i later learned from different waitress that she is related to the owner) brought a very intimidating male to my desk who said "you said my coffee taste like s**t ?" I asked him if he was the manager. He responded "I'm the darn owner" I then apologize that I can't even taste the coffee in that drink and if I can please have a fresh cup. I also mentioned that these are the exact words I express to my waitress and his approach looks very unprofessional. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. This is more of a review of IHOP in general, and not this specific location. There's a Yelp discount of $5 off of a purchase of $25 or more. The problem is that the process is broken and it's impossible to create a new account. First, my email address has a hyphen in it, which apparently is not allowed. Fine - I'll use another email address. Next, the process won't let me specify a password. It won't open the keyboard when I click the field on my phone, and just returns an error. I gave up and went inside to order, and complained to the manager about the issue. He said he knows about it, but still refused to honor the discount. Had I known that the process was broken, I would have gone somewhere else. The food isn't all that good, and the 20% discount is what brought me in this morning. read more

Our family went here yesterday for my annual birthday breakfast of all-you-can-eat pancakes. The restaurant was clean, pleasant atmosphere, the service was great and of course, the pancakes were really good! Our server Penelope was kind and polite - she seemed genuinely happy to serve our table (she didn't know it was my birthday). She was enthusiastic about the food, and she checked on us just enough to be sure that we were satisfied with our food choices, and to ask if we wanted more pancakes (which they brought very quickly). A gentleman, Gerarado, brought our drinks and took away our empty plates. He also provided excellent service. The pancakes, of course, didn't disappoint - they are SO good! The only negative COVID impact was that the pancake syrups were served in small lidded plastic containers instead of the regular jars to pour the syrup. It wasn't a problem - we were given enough of all of the syrup choices, it was just a little inconvenient to open and pour syrup out of those little containers. However, I was happy to see that they were taking precautions to keep everyone safe. One of us ordered an appetizer sampler: chicken fingers, mozza sticks, and onion rings which she subbed for fries. I have to say, the food was very good. The chicken strips were NOT long, compressed-chicken nuggets; they were real, favorable chicken breast strips. That was a nice surprise. The fries also tasted fresh, not frozen, although I am sure they were. Overall, we were impressed with the food and the service. Made me wonder why we don't come here more often. Went in this morning and ordered a coke no ice, corned beef hash well done and hash browns well well (yes I said it twice) done and eggs over medium. Coke showed full of ice, no biggie ask her to fix it. Food showed with cold toast, eggs cooked correctly, corned beef under cooked and hash browns barely looked like they saw the grill. Set the plate back and ate the toast. Food comes back out the same way I sent it back. Apparently the guy delivering it was the owner and said he had cooked it himself. I told him to remove it and I wouldn't eat. No bill but I left a 5 dollar tip for cold toast and a coke. Just ate here. The food was okay, nothing to get excited over. There was barely anyone here but it still took about 25 minutes to get the food which is a little long.
