The best customer service around. Also might just be the best breakfast in the Port Orange Area. The All Star Special is the best breakfast meal of all time. You get everything and everything here was perfect. The eggs were fluffy, warm, and cooked perfectly. The waffle was one of the best I've ever had. My go to choices are either the patty melt or one of their egg and meat breakfast options. But for me the big allure here has always been their hash browns. You can get the hash browns topped with a variety of toppings, you can't go wrong with chili and cheese, but really it is whatever talk to your heart. I guess you might find it odd that I have never had the waffles at a business where waffle is in their very name of the business but I am just not into the sweet type breakfasts. Whether waffles are your thing or not, I would recommend visiting a Waffle House, this location or any of their locations. read more

I had to take star because the counter waitress was removing clean dishes from the dishwasher and was wiping the excess water away with her bare hands before stacking them. I like to go to wagfle house with my dad and my husband. But this particular waffle is good food. But the staff is pretty annoying. The girl name "caitlin" and our server "michael" keep yelling at each other and fighting infront of the counter. Servers pls let me inform you. Be professional. If you are dealing with bunch of elderly people they get scared if you star raising your voice and it hurt in their ears with your loud voices because they are wearing a hearing aid. We just ate here, food was good, service was exceptional! We had eggs and grits, pecan waffle, side bacon. Eggs were cooked perfectly, and perfectly cooked grits , traditional style. Waffel was delicious, lots of pecans. Wish they had real butter, not margarine. Bacon portion was good, and cooked to order. Good quality bacon. Now to the real reason im writing this review. We were so impressed by the waitress, spot on on timing, unsold our order without being pushy, and had an amazing attitude and presence. She made our meal! Amberly is a true jewel! Much better experience here than on international Speedway Boulevard. Carl took care of me very pleasant and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. International Speedway Boulevard plays the music too loud and refuses to reduce the volume. Went here a few weeks ago to try it out. I've never been to a waffle house and i'll probably never go back. My boyfriend and I were sitting there and all of a sudden a lady came in and started yelling and locked herself into a bathroom refusing to pay for her $3 bill. 10 minutes later 3 port orange cops showed up and threatened to knock down the bathroom door if she didn't come out... and this was all happening while we were drinking our coffee and eating dinner.. I can't say i would ever come back to this location, or any waffle house. read more

I use to love going to the Waffle House. I like my food being cooked in open view. Everything was good except the squashed biscuits and the fake butter. The butter is the grease they use to cook everything. The fake butter has all kinds of things that are not good or safe for anyone! I was planning on going often but in view of the fact that they want soy-based butter for all our food being cooked tells me NO! MyWaffle House, please, please get back to basics! read more

This is my favorite waffle house location! I'm so glad this has opened up a few blocks away from my apartment. This is the only waffle house location, where I have never had anything to complain about. This is mostly due to my favorite servers, Renee & April. They are so friendly & always make sure that we always have what we need! This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at Waffle House. I ordered the hash brown bowl and added jalepenos and mushrooms, my girlfriend ordered bacon, eggs, hash browns, with a side of tomatoes. Both meals arrived rather quickly but no jalepenos, mushrooms, or side of tomato.....about 3/4 of the way through our meal the waitress comes back and asks if I need a refill of my empty coffee cup. I explained about what happened and told her to take my sides off but she told us the tomato would be cut promptly. Well after the crew did a solid sweep of the line and wiped down the counters ( wiping around the tomato sitting on the cutting board ) the crew was chit chatting amongst each other meanwhile our tomato sat untouched lonely on the cutting board until our check arrived. She had totally forgot. She took both things off the check bill ended up 18.42. I paid with a $20.00 bill and instead of returning with my change which I did not feel she deserved, she took the dollar and pocketed it and forgot my to go coffee. Terrible. read more

My girlfriend ate breakfast there this last sunday. I have to say that this this was the worst breakfast we have ever eaten. My omelette was made with some type of egg substitute, She got the smothered hash browns, the only cheese was a piece of cheese on top.
