My Husband and I were hungry for the French Toast and a good burger. We only waited about 3 min to get a table but about 10 min with No Greet or drink order. Needless to say we left. When I told staff our table was empty. I was told Thank you. Your Welcome for no service and lost customers. The waitress was so pleasant the first day, my husband and I liked it so much that we returned a few days later, we had the same waitress and she remembered what we wanted to order! My wife n I ordered "Chicken Florentine and Chicken Fajita Omelet" online, and on the Florentine they didn't substitute what we wanted which was pepper jack cheese... they also added tomato's when I said NOOOO tomato's. I had a small hiccup of ordering to different delivery orders, and unfortunately the team mistook the second order as a mistake, so they cancelled the second order, but still the full payment went through. Spoke to Victor, had made a vague promise of refunding my money of doing whatever he in power could do. Luis on the other hand, went totally above and beyond to speak to ones above him and outside his store to guarantee this customer to continue to return buying breakfast. Undoubtedly did not waste any time to fix this error his team may have made, and I'm sure he wasn't there when the incident happen, but stated he took full responsibility. What a wonderful man to even do that! I send my great appreciate and hope you all can realize that his leadership is pushing continual business to exceed due to his valiant efforts. With IHOP, it's all about timing. You get there when it's busy and the service suffers. I think it's a universal fact here. My hubs and I came in early-ish one morning before the start of our day and the restaurant was half empty. We were greeted immediately, ushered to our seat, and our server appeared within minutes. The overall inside appeareance seemed clean. There were a few crumbs in my booth seat but the table had been wiped down. Our server did her job adequately. She was polite and made sure our drinks were refilled for the most part. I don't necessarily have five star restaurant standards at the International House of Pancakes or anything but the dinnerware and utensils looked like they'd seen better days. I had to switch out my fork for a clean one. Most of the servers congregated in open view, goofing off. I mean, it was slow so whatevs. But all in all, the coffee was hot and the food was reliable. I can honestly say I have never eaten anything other than breakfast food here. I usually get the same type of meal (bacon, eggs, and pancakes - hello!). As always, the final check was inexpensive. This would've been an enjoyable experience had we actually been served. Instead our drinks were empty, the food looked awful, when we asked for a refill she slung the glass across the table, and then she took my husband's plate away while he was trying to eat off it, literally still trying to eat half of his meal. I would much rather enjoy my meal and actually get the service we came here for than to watch the servers do the douggie, dance, and chase each other.
