Chicken Fried Steak (also comes with side salad or soup) and white or green chile gravy

Service was unbelievably fast, courteous and friendly. Establishment was clean and bright. Food was basically like a Denny's or other national dinner chain. I was expecting something more local, original and home style (especially with the optional green chile gravy) Corn was over cooked, side salad was large. Huge selection of pies with very generous $5 slices.

This is now becoming our go to restaurant simply because the food is fabulous and so is the service. 5/5

I stumbled upon this restaurant after leaving my massage appointment and having not had breakfast I started searching to see what was in the area. The reviews and recommended menu items were not a disappointment. I ordered the country fried steak with Chile sausage gravy's and eggs, and potatoes, and I upgraded my pancakes to the seasonal pumpkin pecan, and they were phenomenal, no extra syrup needed. The establishment was very clean, service from the staff was very friendly, and the price to food quality and portion ratio was perfect! I even walked away with a slice of pie (The Caramel Pecan Silk) that I can't wait to try for dinner After looking over the menu offerings and getting a suggestion from my server. I definitely recommend butter Smith, kitchen and pies to any in the area that are looking for a good breakfast and great Customer Care.

The fries- what more can I say!!! Well, in addition to their amazing fries, the turkey in the club sandwich was a nice thick slice of turkey breast and there was not a ton of mayo so you could take the sandwich ingredients- the bacon and the bread was thin sliced but toasted perfectly- just a win win win for me. Oh and the coffee is spot on! The meal was entire two meals for me, so I always get a to go box as son. As my food comes out- outta sight outta mind

Service was quick on a Sunday morning with many family's that come here after church . Our food was good I wasn't very hungry so I had the yogurt and it was basic the fruit was nice and fresh so it helped , it would be good if honey was added , I was told the eggs were cooked perfect and sausage links very tasty now the stuffed French toast was especially good with such flavor made it better than village inns French toast . Nice to see manager going around speaking to customers see if things are or asking if anything else she could help with ! It's a diner so it's family's and so like I said after church it's busy that's a good thing for community's .

Had a quick bite to eat here for breakfast amd overall had a very good experience. Staff was friendly and attentive, and food was great. I was eyeballing the pies but was able to resist the temptation.

We stayed at the hotel next to Butter Smith Kitchen. This was our breakfast. I had three pancakes, sausage and eggs. The pancakes were delicious and full of flavor. My wife had the Cali Skillet with pancakes. She loved it! She didn't eat of it because it was so big. She put half of it into a togo box and ate it for lunch. Definitely recommend the breakfast and dinner here at Butter Smith Kitchen! Wish we had one in Florida! Service was fast and friendly. Ironically we had the same waiter for dinner and breakfast the next morning.

I had the steak and eggs. Comes with pancakes. The steak is very thin. Very tasty, heavily marinated and salted, but it's basically whatever steak they must use for the country fried steak so it doesn't really qualify as a steak in my opinion. Costs $15.79. The hash browns are very tired and ordinary at best. I added iced tea, costs 3.49 but it comes straight out of a dispensing machine. Basically two and a half stars. Then I tried the pancakes. Not much taste, nor texture to recommend them. I have to round down to two stars instead of up.

We went because the service at the Grove was nonexistent. We were pleasantly surprised by the food, service, and cleanliness of the restaurant. it wasn't loud, even though the restaurant was full, and people were seated immediately upon entering. What great service!

We had an early dinner after my son's soccer game. This is a modern diner. Great atmosphere and friendly servers. The bathrooms are clean. Menu has a nice variety and Pies! I had the chicken avocado sandwich. My son had a skillet and my hubby had the breakfast enchiladas. All were good. My son had a great pumpkin pie and I had apple pie with ice cream. Love the cinnamon in both! Good comfort food!

Francisco provided excellent customer service; he was warm and attentive, making us feel at home. His fantastic Menudo recommendation, combined with the clean atmosphere and outstanding service, contributed to a wonderful experience. Thank you, Francisco!

Stuffed French Toast (Strawberry and Banana)

I love that eating here feels like eating at a modernized version of an old school diner. Their mango juice was elite. The stuffed french toast was good but was too heavy on the creme cheese for me (personal preference, I probably should have asked for it without the creme cheese). Sausage patty was really good! There's items on the menu I'd like to try if I'm ever back, which I'm sure I will be.

"Funny face" pancakes. We ate the strawberry "eyes" and sausage "mouth"

We've been wanting to try this diner for a while, and today was are not so lucky day. Came in on a busy President's day (Monday morning). Many others had the same idea since it was packed. Nonetheless we were seated promptly. Unfortunately we will not be returning, as there were too many yucky flops that we can't overlook. First off, our eating utensils were dirty. There was old lettuce stuck on my fork. We asked for replacements and they replaced them. The second batch was dirty too. Gross. We decided to build our own breakfast, ordering French toast, waffles, crepes, sausage links, bacon and eggs. The funny face pancakes and mini fruit loop pancakes sounded appealing for our little ones, so we got that too. The kids' pancakes tasted pretty good, but uhh they definitely failed at creativity. We found hair in my scrambled eggs (sent back and not pictured), and later in one of the fruit loop pancakes too. Yuuuck. We sent them back and they ended up taking those items off of our bill, but thinking on it now they should have just made the entire meal complimentary. The dessert photos looked great and I'm sure they are, but we had enough of the rest to try anything else. Bathroom was decent. And the staff was friendly enough. I wish Cracker Barrel wasn't so busy today, because that was our first pick. Ah well. Next time...there, not here.

Im currently eating here as I write this, it's so good I had to write right away!…read more The OG borracho burger is soooo good, you gotta eat quick though because the over medium egg will make it fall apart quickly but that's okay, like I said, it's delicious. It came with seasoned fries which were FANTASTIC as well. My wife had the regular burger, she's picky but she definitely loved the burger. She's more of a regular fries person, being picky but she said they're okay, which is a good sign! My kids never eat out but my one order of sliders was finished super quick, the other is a baby but she eating too. She doesn't eat my burgers at home so I need whatever recipe they have! My son ate his nuggets and they all love the fries. The only thing I have that could be an improvement would be making the limeade a bit less tart otherwise we really enjoyed everything! Especially their customer service The restaurant was great itself as well, the music was good, they have 2 tvs for entertainment as well. I would absolutely recommend this place to people! When I'm on this side of town I'll definitely come back

Plus we love supporting local businesses. Immediately we were greeted and the woman answered our questions. We prefer the Green chili burger and the smash burger with an appetizer of onion rings. They brought everyone out at once- it was hot, gooey, juicy and amazing. The onion rings had the perfect crunch and were delicious. The green chili burger had a slight spice but not hot, just flavorful. I ordered the smash burger and the amount of meat on that burger was astounding. While the store front itself is a bit bare and could use some sprucing up to make it more fun or stand out, it was by far the cleanest restaurant I have ever stepped foot in. This place is wiped down after every guest very well (not just a quick wipe down but very clean) even the bathroom was extremely clean. Over all great food, quick service, clean place to eat. Would recommend but mostly for the burgers, everything else is just icing on the cake.

I can't believe it took me this long to come back to Aurellia's for lunch! I'd only been once,…read moreyears ago after COVID, just to meet a friend on the patio. Honestly, I thought it was just a drinking spot, so I never bothered to step inside. Big mistake. I first tried their beer at the Greek Festival (the Greek brew was so good!) and knew I had to give them another shot. When I finally came in, I was pleasantly surprised. Even with The Shack Wings & Brews across the street, Aurellia stands out because they actually brew their own beers -- and they're fantastic. I don't drink much, but I tried a light one on the manager's recommendation and ended up sharing it with my friend. Smooth, refreshing, and plenty of variety on tap. For food, I went with the Bavarian Forest Burger -- wildberry bacon jam, arugula, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, beer mustard, all stacked on a toasted potato bun. I wish added hickory bacon and an egg, and loved the options. The burger came out cooked medium (they only do one level of doneness), but it was juicy, flavorful, and held together perfectly with the bun. My friend isn't a fan of pink, so she struggled a bit with her cheeseburger, but honestly, mine was one of the best burgers I've had in El Paso. Filling, rich, and worth every bite. The service really stood out. Everyone -- from the manager to the staff -- pitched in, helping each other out, cleaning tables, and jumping in when needed. It's a smaller space, and it can get busy and loud, but they kept everything running smoothly. I loved that team atmosphere. Bonus: They even had a lunch special with a discount if you pair a house beer with your meal -- a nice surprise. The outdoor patio has both shaded and sunny spots, which is perfect for El Paso weather. My only real complaint? Parking can be a bit tricky. All in all, Aurellia's is a true local gem. I regret not discovering it sooner, but now I can't wait to come back -- next time with my husband. Don't sleep on this place. If you're looking for great food, house-brewed beer, and a warm local vibe, this is it. 1620 N Resler Dr, El Paso, TX 79911
