So here's what sucks first and foremost is the fact that the next closest IHOP to us is close to an hour away. The 2nd thing is that this particular store has only had good service once in the entire time they've been opened and that was when my daughter worked there. Trust me, it's not me being bias, my daughter rocks at food service. Having been in the food service industry myself and in customer service for over 30 years, I think I'm not just blowing smoke up someone's rear when I say the service here is horrendous! We drove up on a week night that in most places would likely have at least 10 cars in the lot. This place... 2! TWO!!! We come in and pleasantly seated right away, got our drinks fairly quick and even placed our order in probably no less than 5 minutes. 3 servers, 3 sets of customers... if I were to take a poll there is likely going to be a slew of responses that would've expected 5 star speed with those stats. We ordered two items, nothing fancy, with a simple add-on request. 30 minutes later...???!!! Can ya tell I'm a bit hot under the collar on this one? Now food wise... meh. Flavor was decent but my burger looked like it had been on the grill the entire 30 minutes we had been waiting. Surprisingly it wasn't dry or the texture of a cardboard. The plus in all this... they do honor a military discount. It is a surprise this place is still in business with how slow the service was on a very slow night. If they do eventually close down I hope someone would consider replacing it with Island Burgers. Overall, this place should be call BYE-HOP! You've lost this customer for sure. read more

The Good: - our waitress was very kind and I'm sure she was doing her best. The Bad: - my coffee was cold when it was poured - one of our meals was completely forgotten about and had to be made after the others were delivered - there were 4 I. Our party and we were given 2 sets of flatware. The Really Bad: - they gave me a pencil to sign my receipt with. This is unacceptable because it means that the tip amount could be easily changed. I made sure to take a picture of my receipt just to be sure. This IHOP has a 1.5 on Google Reviews, but I assumed that was just angry customers. I completely get it now. read more

Worst service ever. One of the servers, Mars is very unprofessional. She was judging me for letting my kid watch a Disney movie. Saying "oh have you read the reviews on that movie" with a tone. I continued to say my kid is two and he doesn't understand anyway she said "well I have two-year-old daughter and she understands.." like who are you? Then she says "to each their own" she was more worried about our kid watching a Disney movie than our food which was horrible quality by the way. She also didn't come back to check on us once. While we haven't ever had a good experience at this IHOP since it opened, I can say that after today we won't be back. They had maybe 10-15 tables inside when we arrived at 9:45ish this morning and had 4 servers on staff. We waiting forever to be greeted and never saw our waitress again. Our food came out lukewarm at best and a waitress spilled syrup all over my son and our table. I had to ask someone at the back POS computers for my ticket, as we hadn't seen our server and I had to get to work, and was met by a comment from a server (to a manager) that some people had a crappy attitude. I have worked in the service industry for over 10 years and, honestly, it takes a lot to ruffle my feathers, but the pointed comment did just that. I paid my bill and left. Multiple other tables waited 15+ minutes just to be greeted and every table was treated as a burden from what we could see. Another table was walking out after not having been greeted as we left, echoing out sentiments that it is literally the worst place to eat in town, especially when a family of 4 has to drop $50 to eat cold food and be treated so poorly. The women's restroom was horrendous and smelled like a skunk had sprayed inside of it, which was the icing on the proverbial cake when I took my daughter in right before we left. This would be one of the better chain restaurants for breakfast. Morning time and the weekends here can tend to be pretty busy. Right now the special going is all you can eat pancakes which can fill you up pretty quick. We arrived for brunch and were promptly seated. Our waitress Alecia, was awesome. She was just very friendly and made my boyfriend and I feel very welcome. One of the big issues on our visit, the table behind us found hair in there food and thought nothing of it. Furthermore, our food became a treasure hunt as we discovered a couple hairs in our omelet. The manager was very nice about it and took the item off of our bill. Overall, the food was okay, not something I'd drive 45min to on a normal day. However, in passing it may be a possibility if hair is not an option In my food. read more

Food was good once we waited almost an hour for it. The waitress refused to let us order what we wanted, how we wanted it. She kept insisting we get an omelette that we did not want. We just wanted to replace the Ham with Bacon. She would not give it up. I ordered orange juice 3 times and never received it. No one in the whole restaurant had received food for probably the first 30 minutes we were there. This was after the lunch crowd had left. The bathrooms were destroyed, the floors in the dining area had food all over which was impossible not to step in. The bacon was burned. The hashbrowns were undercooked in some areas. After trying this place out for the second time, I decided to make breakfast at home instead. The strawberry crapes were tasty though, and I think my husband really liked his pancakes. Makes sense since that's their specialty. That's why they got 2 and not one stars from me. read more

This Ihop always has great customer service and the food is always hot. I love pancakes and while this is a chain, this restaurant never disappoints. The only thing is that it sometimes has tables that smell like the water it has been cleaned with hasn't been changed in a while, that is a downer when the delicious food smell has to compete with that. read more

When this place first opened in 2013 it was excellent... It would've been a 4 star place (one off for wait). Since then this place has deteriorated exponentially. The long wait. Filthy floors. Dirty tables. Dirty restrooms. The food is good but the silverware and plate questionable. So sad. I used to like this place. It's comparable to Huddle House. Maybe a notch above Waffle House because of the variety of food. I recommend Bob Evans or Panera over this place. After calling in my order 25 minutes prior to attempting to pick up my food, they apparently lost my order and after three times of asking me what I got I assume they went to prepare it. Waited about 12 more minutes. Was not pleased with the service and having to wait. There was only about a dozen tables occupied in the restaurant however tables had not been cleared and the floor was filthy. These folks deserve no stars for their mediocre service and long wait. We went there when we first moved from Hawaii because my son was hankering for some pancakes. The wait was more then 60 minutes no lie. We got overlooked with the same servant twice. She even served a couple of clients who arrived way after we had arrived. We were traveling through and wanted to stop at an IHOP on our way home to Georgia. Got here at 1:30 on a Monday afternoon, we were seated in the mostly empty restaurant quickly. Well, I SAY quickly. They greeted us quickly. Three people greeted us while the first person was struggling with putting two tables together for our party of five. The food took over an hour. At two on a Monday afternoon, in a restaurant that was 75% empty. Food was ok, but my daughter's pancakes were overcooked. My pancakes were undersized, so they gave me an extra. I always try to give this place a fee months to get there act together. Each time there service is worse. A table waited thirty minutes and never even received there drinks. After we witnessed them leaving we questioned if we should leave and try Bob Evan's up the road. But we decided to stay as the manager jumped in the back to help cook food. The coffee was old like it had been sitting there for hours. They messed up on my bf crepes and gave him the wrong ones.we were so hungry we ate anyway. Fresh to the area and my friend said that this was the place to go for breakfast amongst other locations. I'm not new to iHOP and what they have to offer, but each location has it's own experience. Came here on a Sunday morning, and there was a wait which made sense for a Sunday. The receptionist said 1hr, and we didn't mind waiting. After about 25 minutes of waiting we were seated. So that was a plus! After being seated we attended to after a few minutes of waiting for our order to be taken. I understand that the location was busy and everyone was running around everywhere, but drinks weren't even ask nor were we even greeted. I've worked as a server before and if you were ever slammed or busy, you'd simply greet your table and tell them that you'd get to them as soon as you can. After we were greet we finally had our complete order taken but a really nice a sweet lady. (she seemed older than most there) This lady probably is the reason why I didn't mind why we had to wait so long for our drinks and food. Our drinks took a while for us to receive them but our food took even longer. I only felt that way because the table next to us, who was not only a bigger party and was seated after and ordered after us, received their food first. I'm not a complainer so we waiting until we got our food. The food itself was good no real complaints. read more

They make excuses about being super slow bc they are "busy" with about 3 cars in the parking lot and seriously how long does it take to make a 2-stack of pancakes?! This has always been our favorite for breakfast when we're visiting Elizabethtown. Pulled in this morning about 10:30am, thought we were lucky making it before the crowd. Went in and finally got our drink order in - and waited and waited. Got our drinks - and waited and waited. Finally got our order in - and waited and waited. People that came in after us (15 minuets and more) got their food - and we waited and waited. No waitress - no manager anywhere. I finally went to the waitress station and ask if there happened to be a manager around. "Yeah that her that just walked past ya." Had to follow her around to get her attention - told her the problem. She was totally flustered, after a hour and thirty five minutes we got our food - it was cold. We have been there many times when they were busier with a lot less help and had great service and food. What's going on??!! Know now why there wasn't a big Sunday crowd. Normally I am a bit more lenient when sharing my thoughts about restaurants because, at one point I used to be a waiter; I know the struggle. For some reason the quality of IHOP restaurants has been decreasing and is not because of the food but the service and attention to detail. 1) Utensils for three people were brought to the table soaking wet in two napkins. 2) Hot cocoa was served on a cup dripping coffee. Not a mocha, hot cocoa. 3) Omelette was so salty, could not even eat it. 4) Crepes were burnt. I can keep going and not even explain how disappointed I am. If you are looking to eat pancakes or a nice breakfast, drive a bit further and enjoy Cracker Barrel. Coming to this restaurant will ruin your day. read more

Very poor service. We got seated with just a short wait, but several parties that were seated after us had been served food, ate their meals and left when we decided to leave. I had asked about the wait during the previous 45 minutes. I wanted to pay for our soft drinks, but no one wanted to help us. Finally, a third server came out from the kitchen area and told me we could leave and forget about paying for the drinks. During our wait, I noticed our server walking up to our table several times with our check in hand. She'd see our empty table, close the check folder and walk away. She did check to see if we needed refills on our drinks once. Never did get silverware and had to ask for a napkin for my son. In total, it was about an hour from seating to leaving and still no sign of our meals (just pancakes and eggs, nothing special) as I stood there waiting for someone to take my money for the ice teas.
