We worked hard for these crepes... My family and I spent over an hour waiting for food only to find out that the waitress' were in the back instructing the two cooks on how to make crepes. Our two other dishes sat at the pass cheering them on while saying farewell to the other orders. In the end, we had to leave for an engagement. The waitress was pleasant and nice. The food was lukewarm. Orders an omelette without green peppers and tomatoes. They must have forgot and added them anyways. Overlooked that. Service was slow. Was asked if we wanted a refill on drinks but never received them. She brought the check instead then questioned if she gave me the correct one when I went to pay. Went here for Sunday breakfast. Arrived about 9:30am. We were on a 20 minute wait which was fine. Totally expect that on a Sunday morning. We were probably called up in about 15 minutes which was a nice surprise. Things were looking good but that was about the only good thing to happen during our meal. We got seated our server took our drink order, water and coffee. He brought us our waters right out and said our coffee would be a minute as they were brewing a new batch. He took our food order and left. About 15 minutes later after overhearing another server telling a guest they had fired three members of staff that morning, two for being "No shows" and another for theft, which was why things were a little slow, we managed to spot our server and flag him down and ask him for our coffee. The food came out about another 15 minutes after that. It was brought out by a different server, it had obviously been sat in the service window a while as it was warm not hot, the sausage gravy had a skin on it. Went to put ketchup on my hashbrowns and the ketchup bottle was empty. Asked the server if they could get me some and they passed me the EMPTY bottle off the table behind us. I ended up getting up and grabbing one from another table myself The Chicken Fried Steak was more like Chicken Fried Cardboard and had a really strong warmed over/reheated flavor. Our original server reappeared. Saw we had our food and while he didn't say anything we had only had our food in front of us about 90 seconds and he threw our bill on the table as he walked past mumbling something about not wanting to rush us! We gave them another chance as two weeks ago we had the worst service. Today we thought perhaps that day was just that server on that particular say. We waited for 10 minutes today for our server (different from previous visit) to make it to our table and take our order 10 minutes later and we still didn't even have water or coffee and walked out. They way they text you to be seated to each and every employee wearing gloves and covering their faces with masks. Stopped here after an unsuccessful SOAR event at Drake Field as the storms earlier in the morning grounded the balloons that normally float in at 7AM. We needed something to eat as I needed to get home and get to sleep so I could work that night and so, we stopped at IHOP. I can say that the selection and quality were amazing, and the staff friendly. The Colorado Scramble that I ordered kept me full all day long until 9 that night. Dining is has been terrible as well, not necessarily by the servers but when 17 people are in the restaurant and most have food already it shouldn't take 45 min to get 2 people a burger an entree...
