Came here last week when I was passing through south Cali and came mostly just for the pancakes. It was pretty busy but this server I believe her name was Candace, was the nicest and kindest server I've had in awhile, mind you I go to restaurants all the time and servers typically have a half ass attitude, but Candace was super attentive and very friendly. When I work in Fullerton, I stop by this Subway store at Harbor Blvd and Orangethorpe. the parking is a bit crowded because it is across the street from the Costco, Five Below, and AmazonFresh stores, not to mention an In-N-Out Burger. But once insiide the place was clean, the staff greeted me as I entered. I placed my order and the helper behind the counter was able to finish making the sandwich without any waiting. Thanks Subway, I'll be back.

We patiently waited and maybe a minute waiting someone from the back comes out, sees his coworkers busy and takes the time to grab some menus and get us a seat. All the staff were friendly and helpful but he was the rockstar for the day. I come here bow and then over the years because i live in the area and the good will always be one of my favorites. This time i had the turkey sliders and chocolate cream pie, so delicious.

I ordered the blackened salmon with a baked potato and sour cream. It was perfect. I had also had the bread pudding with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was so big that my wife and I couldn't even finish it together. It was also absolutely delicious. The best part of the meal was our server, Jesse. He couldn't have been nicer and more honest, telling us what the best things on the menu were and why. We took his advice about everything, and we're glad we did. He was so good that Jesse alone is reason enough to come back. A wonderful evening!!

The restaurant is much bigger than I expected. Most of the tables in the main dining area are for smaller parties of 2-6, but there is a room toward the back that can accommodate larger groups. We waited about 30 minutes for a table of 10. Once seated, our server came by to take our drink and food orders. Service was decent overall. Our server had a pretty stern tone/didn't seem very happy, but she was helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. The portions are definitely generous for the price. I ordered the Build Your Own ($14.99) with scrambled eggs, sausage links, and biscuits with gravy. I was honestly floored when I saw two BIG biscuits on the plate! While the portion sizes and pricing were great, the food itself was just mediocre to me. Personally, I'd rather pay a little more for better quality food elsewhere, but if you're looking for a casual spot in the area, this isn't a terrible option.
