Christmas weekend when everyone is out shopping, my girlfriend and I decided to stop to eat some breakfast around 4 in the afternoon. (because breakfast is the most important meal of the day) Our waiter Aqui greeted us right off the bat, it was empty inside so we were seated really really quick. ***According to my sister, the breakfast crew is super attentive, they even remember her order**** But, today we went in, we knew it was a Sunday so it would be busy, but it was almost 3pm, so we took a chance. Never again! We picked the easiest things on the menu, a house salad, a crispy chicken salad and onion rings. We were nice, said please and thank you, but the waitress (a blonde lady) gave us attitude. Ignored us for the whole meal AND we had to ask the busgirl to give us water because they were never refilled. The onion rings were almost dripping in grease and all together it was pretty sad. I know it's not the best place but, come on, is it really that hard to refill water and make sure our order was okay? Also, I ordered the house salad and it was five minutes late. I don't think I'll be going back. We went to pay for our food up front and we told the hostess we had bad service, she (direct quote) said, "really?" and proceeded to ignore us. It is sort of like Denny's but cleaner with better food selection. I ordered the chicken and fries and was not content at all. The fries was alright but very small they threw the fries around the chicken like they were cousins in a southern chicken coop. I also felt that the chicken was too crispy come on are you trying to give me a stroke. This place Chicken fries is nothing comparable to Raising Cane(props). Terrible service, dirty/messy restaurant and undercooked pancakes! Our waitress was Silvia (I believe that was her name). She did not check on my table once and left us without necessities! She knew nothing about the current deals going on when asked and was rude when telling us they were out of a menu item. When I finally went to pay the bill, my due change was $10.15, however Silvia gave me change very unprofessionally by pulling out her wad of tips from her pockets, giving me a $10 back and saying "i don't have the remaining 15 cents sorry" then walking away. Bad customer service. Cold not give less stars because option is not there, reality is they should not even have one. Decided to go have a nice brunch with my son, and came here. Unfortunately had a bad experience, From the other bad reviews on here I believe IHOP should really invest in good managers whom know how to treat their customers. We walked in before a party of 3 and they were taken in before us. I get it, if it's a party of 5 and trying to keep your big tables open but for them to not put us first is unfair when we had a party of 2, not much of a difference. We spoke to the manager Jaime Martìnez whom explained in an unprofessional manner how even if we were the 1st person on their list there and have been waiting for 30 minutes with a party of 2, we would have to wait yet if a party of 5 walked in there after us they would be attended first because they just happen to have a big table. Jaime Martìnez said "I know it's unfair but that is how it's done". So Jaime Martìnez, let me ask you this, if you are in the hospital and you are having a heart attack but someone else is there for a fever they may take the fever first because the bed they have is for non-emergent cases, should it be that way......The answer is no, Jaime Martine needs classes on how to serve customers, how to address customers, and how to dress and look professional.
