HORRIBLE! i came to get brunch with my family on Christmas day! We were expecting to get a decent meal so... We wanted to go to a decent restaurant but nothing was open! Dennis was way too crowded so we had no choice but came to IHOP. Service was okay but the food was HORRIBLE... the portion was way too smaller than usual (i'm thinking because they were busy). And the food was nothing like in the picture... it was salty.. and nasty.. it was ridiculous! We ordered 3 drinks + coffees + 3 plates (pancake platter, garden crepe, & international crepe post card) & an appetizer sampler which were all bad.. so we left about 50% of the food there - came out to be $50 which our brunch was not worth the money! My family and I went to IHOP due to wanting something "fast" and "easy". This was a horrible decision. The food and service was an embarrassment to breakfast establishments . My food was disgusting and my husband's food looked as gross as it tasted. Our bill was $80 bucks which I wish we could get back.. No one ate their food and we then had to go to another place to get real food. This place is a joke and we have no idea how they stay in business. read more

Just had breakfast here! Great service Monica sat us down and gave us menus. The servers were quite busy tending to other customers so Monica went ahead and got our beverages for us. They have a happy hour menu from 2-10, for $6. Sound great, yes? I thought it would be a good deal. I went there order a burger plate and a crispy chicken plate. The menu says you can replace the side order with pancakes. I aske the manger, she confirmed. I asked if I can have burger cooked in medium. She said no. They charged . 99cents more for switching from fries to pancake. I said it is not wtitten in the menu. The manager came and she said yes it was mistake but it is billed already so they did not refund my money. I got the food went home, started eating. Both plates were the worst sandwiches ever. The chicken was almost like a piece of wood. Th burger was completely dry and hard. The fries were old and seemed not real. No star. will not eat food there anymore. Maybe only breakfast. I use to bring my son here all the time. Had the best customer service. Well today was horrible! Was put in a cluttered area by the exit sign. Which I believe is OSHA VIOLATION! All emergency exits should be cleared in case of an emergency. Waited for our food fo 35-40 minutes. When we got it, it was cold. never got our drinks refilled or condiments. I absolutely love ihop the pancakes are wonderful who doesn't like to eat pancakes at any time of the day! This location has great service. All the staff is so friendly and attentive, I haven't yet been to one that is the same. I come in at least twist a month. A lot of the times my family and I have been attended by Fabiola a waitress at this location she has the right amount of patience and pays attention to what the clients wants it's always a pleasure to come in and get served by her. Recently this Ihop had been reconstructed which is great since the inside is all up-to-date and it looks like a brand new Ihop. I am usually eating at this location at around 9PM-2AM and it always seems like there are people eating there, however it's never busy to the point where you cannot get a table or wait forever for your food. In fact, during these times the staff is pretty quick about getting the food out in a orderly and timely manner. However I am sure it is much different in the mornings. The food is not bad but it's typical Ihop food. The cooks are really good about particular guests' food since it feels like they never overcook or undercook any dishes here (expect for this one time with an order of hashbrowns). The waiters and waitresses are really friendly and are always willing to help you out or see how you're doing. Every once in a while it's kind of overbearing but overall they're doing their job very well. If you're every looking for a late night meal and you're in the area, this Ihop is pretty good for that. read more

Meh.... Coffee is always good and french vanilla creamer is a plus, however, this location is dirty. Also on the plus, are their hash browns....golden brown and delicious. Cleanliness: Everything was sticky from the coffee canister, to the table, and to the receipt at the end of our meal. My bf and I felt the need to use sanitizer between touching the menus and before eating if that says anything lol. Waiter was friendly, but seemed busy. Came to check on us and take our orders with a stack of dirty dishes with half eaten food on it....I don't know...kind of weird lol. Prices are also more expensive than other locations. Average price of a meal here was a minimum of $10. A lot of them as much as $15. I recommend going to their location off of Edinger in Santa Ana. It's cleaner, cheaper, and staff is always incredibly nice. And....you still get the great coffee and hash browns. = ) read more

Worst experience I have ever had at this location. My wife and I used to go occasionally to have some late night pancakes. Friday, 11/30/18 10pm, we got sat, it was packed, I only saw 3 servers and 2 cooks, bus boy was helping as well, can't remember the girl who served us but she was bad. Toke 10 mins to get our drinks, she apparently forgot to start the coffee machine so people got their coffee really late, we ordered, and waited, 10:50pm, no food, she never checked up on us. I got up and asked the bus boy how long for our food. I saw one ticket hanging in in front of the cook, she never put in our order. Had us sitting there for a hour for nothing. Like every Sunday morning every breakfast joint is slammed packed. What my husband I did was wake up a little bit earlier to hike the hillcrest Park and enjoy some breakfast at ihop since we haven't been to ihop in a while. As soon as we walked in everyone welcomed us with really friendly service. We sat down and ordered our food and some coffee. Our waitress was very attentive. She always came back to check on us. I never had to ask for more water or coffee or hot sauce! I believe her name was Claudia. Sitting here right now writing this review inside this location. It's around 80 degrees or so outside and inside it where the customers are sitting (in the back) it feels 80 degrees. In the very front where employees work (other than the waiter) it's nice and cold from the AC. How this business try to restrict AC access to paying customers that keep this business afloat baffles me. The waiter David was very friendly and nice but honestly we were about to leave due to the uncomfortable temperature until he brought us our food. We asked him if they could turn on the AC (this was before I noticed there was cold air in the front) and he came back saying that management said that they couldn't change the temperature. But low and behold they just block the air access for customers (which doesn't really save them money on electricity, just shows how dumb management is). read more

This place was WONDERFUL beyond words. It was very relaxing being able to come to this iHop after having a rough day at school taking tests. First off, the service was excellent. Our waiter (Chris... I think his name was if I remember correctly), did a great job making our experience at iHop worth our time. Not only was he very friendly, but he also constantly made sure we were totally fine with our food, etc. Asked every now and then to see if we need refills or our plates to be taken away. Keep it up! The service was fast and very friendly. I went on the midweek morning, so it wasn't busy. I'm not a big pancake fan, but I like the ones at IHOP, and I like that you can get a couple of stacks with most of the entrees without paying extra. That's such a good deal to me. I ate at IHop for their free pancake day in March. It was super packed when I came in for brunch, but we were seated relatively quickly--in about 20 minutes. Once we were seated our waitress came to us right away, and took our coffee and entree orders. I ordered the Colorado omelette with my free pancake side. My friends both ordered the bacon and eggs breakfast. Everything was really good, but the star was the Colorado omelette. It was super meaty and well worth the calories!
