I went here for the free kids meals. But there was no free kids meals. I also saw the generous happy hour special. But there was no happy hour special. I guess they weren't making enough money. So on this Wednesday, we were the only ones in the restaurant for our entire dinner hour. The food was pretty decent though. I was happy they had 4 syrups (old fashioned, butter pecan, blueberry, strawberry) - and didn't charge extra for it. The pancakes were pretty good. The burger was good. The kids meals were all 9.29. Everyone was satisfied except Papa who had to pay for it. It wasn't that much though and I felt at least it gives a few jobs to the neighborhood. They do have a $7 menu, which gives you some options if you don't want to pay a lot. So... I'll go back if people are begging for it. read more

Good food and good service. We went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy. However, by the time we left at around 11am, the restaurant was almost full. The strawberry and banana pancakes were nice and fluffy. The turkey sausages were pretty good. The fish and fries were tasty. We also got fried breakfast potatoes, but the fries tasted better. I was in the area and have high hope up about having breakfast in the place that has parking lot, but this location doesn't have it. Plus, it is on very busy street and hard to find parking. Spicy Poblano is my favorite! I love that they put many types of peppers. Big Steak is also good too just not spicy. Service is ok, slow sometimes. Overall, if you don't have a car you don't need to worry about finding parking. Place is big and good for family. read more

Floors, tables, and seats were very sticky. I understand that they keep syrup on the Tables, but they were not wiped down before we were seated. It wasn't even that crowded when we went. Although, our waitress was very friendly. I prefer going to other real "diners" for this type of food. But, with the movie "IF" being released and having a themed menu for it, my daughter wanted to go here for brunch just before seeing the movie. I finally decided to try the new IHOP location. I was honestly surprised at how clean the restaurant was, very clean. The lady that welcomed me was very friendly, and as soon as I walked greeted me and walked me to my table. My waitress, Yamile, also stopped by the table soon after I was seated. She was helpful, and patient because I took a few minutes to decide what to order. She even helped me download their mobile app and learn how to earn rewards, which was very nice of her. I also notice that most of their staff seems to be bilingual, which is a plus especially when you take into consideration at the restaurant is located in an area with a large population of Spanish-speaking people. I had a Rooty Pancake Combo Blueberry Compote with 2 Scramble Eggs and 2 Sausages. Also, a side of Mozzarella Sticks. The Blueberry Compote was ok, I ended up removing it and using some Old Fashioned syrup instead. Overall, I was very satisfied with the customer service, food, price, and cleanliness of the place. They also played good music which is h is always a plus Therefore, I recommend this place and will be returning. *Unfortunately, even though they do have paper straws they also still utilize plastic ones so they only got 4 stars. read more

Decided to come here before the Mets game home opener. I was surprised the place looked modern and clean. It was crowded at 12noon. the server Gianella was really friendly. We ordered the Colorado Omelette and the Crepe Combo with 2 coffees. Prices have definitely gone up but still cheaper than eating at Citi Field. The food was good and cooked right and there was a lot of food so we were stuffed. We will definitely return to this location. read more

One problem was the chocolate milkshake was not good. It tasted cheap, tasted like it had water instead of milk. I expected a really good milkshake, how hard is it to make a decent one? I usually get milkshakes at every diner and I never had a problem with it. Also it was very watery instead of having a thick consistency. It was like water down chocolate milk. went to ihop in jackson heights on a july 4 tuesday morning to grab some traditional american breakfast and i dont care what anyone bitches or complains about when it comes to ihops breakfast cause i love breakfast here especially the blueberry pancakes , hashbrowns and sausage platter. i do notice since my last visit from last year that prices have gone up but they still have some breskfast special deals for cheap and budget type folks. small parking lot thats always filled so its street parking if you are lucky .spacious inside with good amount of booths and tables with booths the better options if you come early enough . good amount of breakfast options and lunch and dinner is typical burgers , meatloaf , sandwiches , chicken tenders , etc. i enjoyed my breakfast and my only peeve is the pancake syrup is only maple unless you ask your server to bring other flavors. still my favorite place to grab a good american breakfast when the occasion permits . 4 stars on my yelp meter. read more

To truly enjoy IHOP, you have to come for the food but not really set any high expectations when it comes to the service. Surprisingly, this IHOP has both service and quality of food, that over exceeds any high brow food critic. The both times I've been here, Gary has been our server and has always gone above and beyond to deliver amazing quality service. His friendly demeanor and care to service should be the benchmark to what other servers at IHOP should follow. My gf and I have come to this IHOP with her mom, who is of the third age, and requires a little more patience than your common waiter. Gary not only takes his time but is very courteous and polite about it - never bothered to assist and provide the details that are essential for someone to make a sound decision. It takes someone with a lot patience but mostly a good heart to be able to assist and not be bothered with the details, all the while managing a busy location, so I appreciate this even more. As for the food, this location delivers picture perfect IHOP dishes as they're meant to be. Overall, my favorite IHOP location to visit - and I've been to many, so that says something. Kudos to Gary for making these visits a memorable one. If he isn't a trainer or manager, he should be! read more

This place is the worst ,I order an on line pickup at 12 noon ,they send me an email that my order will be ready at 12:35 pm ,I show up at this place at 12:40 pm and my order was not ready ,I walkout with my order at 1:30 pm ,one hour and a half waiting ,when I got to my home my order was different ,I order chocolate chip pancakes and of course they charge me more but what I got instead was regular pancakes ,my poblano omelette was disgusting with a rotten avocado. read more

First of all, we got seated immediately and we looked at our menu for about 10 minutes and waited patiently for our server to arrive. We had to ask to the hostess TWICE where our server was so they can take our order. Both times, she said they would arrive in a second and it took about 45 minutes for someone to finally take our order. We noticed mad people were starting to leave and we asked them if they took their orders and we angrily said "No, no one did." Once our server arrived, he gave us mad attitude, I wanted to order something from the $5 menu and he was all like "That's Not available now" and I nicely asked if there was something similar and he's like "uhhh no" and then I'm trying to figure out what to order and he's like "if you need more time to order let me know now, we have other people waiting for their order" I would've angrily responded but I needed my food asap so I just picked something random. On top of that when we he was reviewing our order before he left he completely forgot a whole combo we ordered and then got UPSET when we told him he forgot it. Terrible attitude and although it was packed he shouldn't have given us that much attitude. Next, when we got our drinks, we didn't even get straws for it and half of them required straws, so we had to ask the cleaning lady for straws and she kindly accepted to give us. IT TOOK ONE HOUR FOR OUR FOOD TO ARRIVE AND people around us who came after us got their food first!! Once we were all dying of hunger, the food finally arrived and at this point he started to act nice. The food was MEDIOCRE! The eggs tasted fake and rubbery.
