Pleasantly surprised. Great French toast. Great service. Clean and updated. Better than Hotel buffets!

Everyone was incredibly friendly, offered great recommendations, and made us feel welcome the entire time. The vibe is a 10/10. Whether you want to sit on the patio, inside, or at the unique breakfast bar, there's a spot for everyone. I wish I had taken pictures because every dish that came to our table looked incredible. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage and hash browns, and it was grilled to perfection, packed with flavor, and served piping hot. We also shared a waffle with blueberry topping, and it was easily one of the best waffles I've had in a long time. The prices were fair and right in line with other breakfast spots in the area, especially considering the quality of the food and service. If you're in town, do yourself a favor and stop in. I have a feeling you'll be just as impressed as we were.

Our waitress was super kind and attentive, which honestly carried a lot of the experience. And I have to start with the highlight - the chai pistachio latte. Phenomenal. Perfect balance of bitter and sweet, the pistachio flavor hit, and easily my favorite part of the meal (also just aesthetic). Food-wise, it was a mix. I got the Gouda Breakfast Burger and I loved it - juicy, cheesy, stacked, and exactly what I needed (pregnant me was very happy ). I'd honestly come back just for that. My boyfriend got the Kickin Chicken Benedict, and while the jalapeño hollandaise had a really nice kick, the poached eggs were more "gel" than runny... which is a little disappointing for a brunch spot since that's kind of the main event. Other than that, my boyfriend said it was alright. We also did ask for extra crispy hashbrowns and... they definitely did not understand the assignment. More soft than crispy, which was a letdown too. We also tried the Peanut Butter Stuffed French Toast - good, but not super memorable. For two people, our total was over $80 (three entrees, two lattes, a coffee, and an orange juice), which felt a little high for the overall experience - but not unreasonable if everything hit a bit stronger. Overall, this place has some strong highlights (drinks, burger, and service), just needs a little more consistency across the board to really stand out.

We came in around 8:00 on Sunday, 2/1/26 and sat at the bar. The bartender Jackie was busy and didn't see us for a couple minutes - once she did she apologized and took great care of us! We started with boneless wings, 1/2 buffalo, 1/2 garlic parm, they were really good! For our entrees I had the prime rib quesadilla and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite! It was served SO hot I thought I would burn my mouth! But it would be worth it! He had the perch dinner and wasn't as thrilled with it as I was with mine. He said the perch is better at Whitlow's. There were lots of games on, hockey, basketball and a sports documentary. It wasn't too loud, but it is a lively atmosphere. I'm happy with our experience and hope we come back again soon.

Especially considering one of our omelets wasn't cooked through fully. That was disappointing after hearing so many good things about the breakfast here. I could be persuaded to try it again as again the food was pretty good.

We sat at the bar (as always) and Sarah took great care of us (as always). AND, because it was Saturday I could order the stuffed hash browns! I had never heard of this delight until I started visiting Michigan. Shredded hash browns with sautéed veggies and breakfast meat, cheese and either ranch dressing or sour cream. This was the first time I've ordered them here, and I was REAL happy with my order! I went with the 1/2 order - and it was a lot of food. Ham, bacon, onions, peppers, cheese and I subbed sour cream for the ranch and added 2 over easy eggs. My Mr had the all meat omelette and really enjoyed it. Our toast was hot and buttery. We come to Whitlow's A LOT. It is our favorite breakfast place when we want classic breakfast. There is nothing fancy, but everything is really good. And their prices are very reasonable.

We have great service here 95% of the time - this time included. I ordered a michelada as I always do - if you've never had one- try it! Bloody Mary mix with Modelo. Served with a Tajin rim and a lime. I order one EVERY time we come in. Knowing we would be going to dinner later, I wasn't in the mood for a full meal. I ordered the bean dip and an a la cart ground beef tostada. Unfortunately, the bean dip was disappointing. It was thin refined beans with runny queso. If it was seasoned at all, I couldn't tell. Maybe if the cheese had been grated cheese it could have been better. I didn't complain because I assumed that's how it was supposed to be? The ground beef tostada was so good! The beef had great flavor! There was a good amount of beef and the other toppings were fresh. I would order that again, for sure! He ordered 3 carne asada taco dinner (as always) and 1 a la cart ground beef taco - American style. The carne asada tacos were delicious and the ground beef taco in a soft corn tortilla was a delicious addition to the usual meal. Service was great and the food was real good, we will of course be back!
