Everyone was incredibly friendly, offered great recommendations, and made us feel welcome the entire time. The vibe is a 10/10. Whether you want to sit on the patio, inside, or at the unique breakfast bar, there's a spot for everyone. I wish I had taken pictures because every dish that came to our table looked incredible. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage and hash browns, and it was grilled to perfection, packed with flavor, and served piping hot. We also shared a waffle with blueberry topping, and it was easily one of the best waffles I've had in a long time. The prices were fair and right in line with other breakfast spots in the area, especially considering the quality of the food and service. If you're in town, do yourself a favor and stop in. Came here for brunch and overall... it was okay. Not bad, not amazing - just somewhere in the middle. Our waitress was super kind and attentive, which honestly carried a lot of the experience. And I have to start with the highlight - the chai pistachio latte. Phenomenal. Perfect balance of bitter and sweet, the pistachio flavor hit, and easily my favorite part of the meal (also just aesthetic). Food-wise, it was a mix. I got the Gouda Breakfast Burger and I loved it - juicy, cheesy, stacked, and exactly what I needed (pregnant me was very happy ). I'd honestly come back just for that. My boyfriend got the Kickin Chicken Benedict, and while the jalapeño hollandaise had a really nice kick, the poached eggs were more "gel" than runny... which is a little disappointing for a brunch spot since that's kind of the main event. Other than that, my boyfriend said it was alright. We also did ask for extra crispy hashbrowns and... they definitely did not understand the assignment. More soft than crispy, which was a letdown too. We also tried the Peanut Butter Stuffed French Toast - good, but not super memorable. For two people, our total was over $80 (three entrees, two lattes, a coffee, and an orange juice), which felt a little high for the overall experience - but not unreasonable if everything hit a bit stronger. I'd been wanting to try Brunch House in Forest Hills but heard it's always busy in the weekends, so we tried here around 9:30am on the 4th of July on a Saturday in Muskegon! We were seated right away in a booth. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. The decor is modern and cute, great for a girls brunch but still family friendly. I think the food options include a great variety and the prices are super fair! I'm also so impressed with how many breakfast alcoholic drinks they offer; I got an iced oatmilk SF vanilla latte. I got the gouda bacon breakfast smash burger and it was really good -- I wish I could've tasted the cheese a bit more, and it needed more of a sauce, but I used some ketchup on the side. My partner thought he ordered the meat lovers omelette, but he got the Western omelette and started eating it without realizing. Our waitress was amazing and quickly got a meat lovers omelette in addition - and it is HUGE! I've never seen a meat lovers omelette with literally so much meat before. Stopped in for brunch on Saturday with the girls. We added our name to the waitlist on the drive which worked out perfect because our table was ready when we pulled in. Quickly sat outside in the greenhouse type area at a six top. At first it was extremely warm but then they propped the door open for some airflow. we started out by ordering some drinks, so you're looking over the menu. We got an iced chai tea latte, and iced caramel macchiato and a mimosa. all drinks were delicious. both of my friends ordered the ultimate breakfast sandwich with the American fries. they love the brioche bun with the chipotle aïoli. I stuck with my favorite dish, which was the cali scramble. The pico and the jalapeño ranch is my absolute favorite 10 out of 10 favorite breakfast ever. If i could give this place 6 stars i would! To start - we were on vacation and wanted to try EVERYTHING that was bomb. And we did. We came in and got sat in this cute restaurant after about a 20 minute wait on a Sunday and got sat on their patio. The patio was cute and was winterized so it was perfect. After a short while Meghan came and greeted us and we put in an order for smoothies and coffees. SHE was a FANTASTIC waitress the entire time. Their speciality blueberry and matcha lattes were heavenly and the PB&J smoothies were amazing too. When we moved to starters the breakfast tacos, biscuits and gravy and avacado toast were all good and we agreed we'd come back for just those. Our mains came out and almost everything was absolutely incredible. The best choices were banana bread French toast and the buffalo chicken skillet (with fried chicken). We tried everything and loved it all. It was such a good spot! We will be back, for sure! I'd recommend you try it out if you're thinking about it for sure read more

We are new to the area. My wife and I heard this was a great place for breakfast. We stopped by this past Friday morning (6/22) at 10:00 There was one other couple inside waiting for a table. We gave our name to a very unfriendly hostess, said there were 2 of us, she asked my wife for her name and phone number - not sure why but gave number to her. We thought maybe they use the number to text future specials or coupons or something like that. We sat down on a bench to wait for a table. After 5 minutes, another couple came in, this time it was a different hostess at the hostess stand, this couple gave their name and asked for a table for 2 - they were not asked for their phone, and they were immediately taken to a table. After several more minutes, the other couple waiting on the bench across from us were told their table was ready and they were led to their table. After 5 more minutes, another couple came in, asked for a table for 2 and they were led to a table immediately. By this time we looked at each other and wondered what was going on and why we were not being seated. Then a group of 5 came in and asked for a table and they were immediately led to a table. We had enough, and after a few minutes - our hostess came back and when we asked her why others were being seated before us - she gave us a disgusted look and said "we texted you and you never responded" we looked at each other very confused. So someone was apparently texting my wife's phone which she did not even bring into the restaurant??!! The hostess never told us we would be texted or even why she asked for our phone number - and why would they not just come get us like everyone else. Later - I asked my daughter - who lives in Muskegon if they ever asked for her phone number and she said no - never - not once after eating there dozens of times. We were seated at table for two and were given menus and water by a waitress. My wife and I were looking over the menus for the first time and the waitress asked if we're ready to order yet, we smiled and said everything sounds good and we need a few more minutes. She stopped by again after a minute and I told her I need just another minute. She looked really disappointed and just walked away. After less than a minute, I waived to our waitress, she ignored me, she walked by and I told her we are ready to order, she just ignored me, didn't say a word, I waived to her as she passed a 3rd time - she made direct eye contact with me from 3 feet but still didn't acknowledge me. She went into the kitchen, came back out and walked straight to our table and said "what'ya have" We gave our order and she wrote them down and walked away. My wife ordered 2 eggs over easy with pancakes, American fries and ham. Everything was ok except the ham was dry - salty - and close to burnt. I ordered a bowl with scrambled eggs over biscuits and gravy. The worst gravy I have ever tasted - was more like wallpaper paste. Based on this visit, we decided never to return and give a fair warning to anyone who asks for a breakfast spot. I would rate Brunch House a 0-zero if it were possible. We live 45 minutes from here yet go back at least twice monthly, and for good reason. My spouse and I would go to war for this restaurant. We've tried nearly everything on the menu (some we've tried twice) and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing and the drinks always hit. The orange mimosa is literally the best I've ever had. My 7yo and 9yo also enjoy this place to the point that it's the only place we eat out where they actually will clear their plates (and they order a ton of food here). My son always orders the chocolate chip pancake with a side of bacon and a side of sourdough toast. He finishes all of that then tries stealing the rest of our family members sides of toast. He quite literally asked me recently to make toast for breakfast for him, but he wanted it like brunch house makes it. Oh! We planned to go here last weekend and messed with my 7yo the morning of and told him we couldn't go because the brunch house called and said that my 7yo ate too much of their toast last time we were there, so they wouldn't accept our 7yo as a customer any longer. My 7yo literally "ugly cried" and I had to tell him we were joking and felt terrible. Overall, the weekdays are less busy than the weekends, but if you join the waitlist about 10-15 mins from arrival on the weekends, ur table is usually ready by time you arrive. My bf and I stopped by here Monday after Electric Forest, along with dozens of other patrons. I will say the restaurant staff was great and handled the crowd/rush so well and with such a positive attitude. Between the host and the waitress, everyone was kind and didn't rush us at all. I ordered an iced coffee and it was delicious! So I actually ordered another one as soon as I finished the first. To eat, I ordered the Cali Scram and my bf ordered the Southwestern Benedict and the Breakfast Tacos. Everything came in good timing and it hit the spot! I will say my avocados weren't ripe so I didn't eat them but everything else tasted good. My bf enjoyed his food as well. Overall, great experience! The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable for the quality. I have spent more at traditional diners for so-so food. With a daughter who doesn't eat meat, there are a lot of options aside from a salad or a western omelette minus the ham. The specials I've had over the years have been diverse and universally delicious. I have a hard time deciding what to order most times. The harvest skillet in fall 2025 was an amazing burst of flavors and textures. My one dismay is that there wasn't an option to get it without bacon for our family member who doesn't eat meat. The staff is friendly and drinks are top notch. The wait can be substantial at times. But generally there are reasonable wait times for food once you're seated. My one gripe is that on more than one occasion, my daughter has gotten scraps of meat in her vegetarian meals. I have asked the server to relay to the chefs to avoid cross contamination when preparing her dishes. We are from out of town and we went to Brunch House two days in a row because the first experience was such a delightful one. My husband is a pancake connoisseur, and I personally never order pancakes out. He got the regular pancakes with blueberries and I got the protein pancakes with blueberries. We each tried each each other's and were glad that we got the ones we did, but we both agreed that both kinds were excellent. They were light, fluffy, and had a nice taste. (The protein, pancakes, which I originally thought may have been made with almond flour, tasted like they were made with a high protein bread flour. They had a sourdough bread flavor, but not an overpowering one.) We ordered the real maple syrup - at first we thought it was a bit expensive at six dollars for the up charge, but it comes in a little glass bottle and it was enough for both of us to share so it ended up being well worth it. My husband got an Americano and I got a latte - both drinks were strong, coffee, and really tasty. We were seated very quickly on both days, even though they were weekend days at prime breakfast going hours.
