The food was cold bitter and extremely greasy. My wife and I both took literally 1 bite out of our plates, looked at each other and thought the same thing. We politely slid our plates to the coroner of the table and asked for our bill. The server asked if we wanted boxes to go and I'm sure you can tell what our answer was. The server was polite and all but we still ended up getting charged. I don't expect a free meal but literally the food was at our table for 30 seconds before we asked for our bill to leave. I was getting hungry and wanted something different other than the usual drive thru fast food, so we placed an online order and got our food in 20 mins. First, I should've checked my bag so that's completely on me for that part because we were missing a hash brown. Secondly, the entree portions came in what appeared to be side containers. I'm 4'11 and the containers were the size of my hand and that's with my fingers fully extended out. Almost a $12 meal looked like a $5 kids meal. The absolute whale of a server, who mind you was the only employee we had seen for about 10-15 minutes, scolded my friend and I for seating ourselves in a booth telling us "next time, there is a sign by the door that says please wait to be seated". I told her sarcastically that it would have taken 20 minutes for my friend and I to have been seated when there was no wait nor business in the place. Hurry up and get this. I've got six more orders, waiting to be made. Our food came out, just like with the drinks She pretty much threw the plates at us and walked away. The food was average for IHOP. My meal was not good at all. I had the turkey bacon melt. The cheese, tasted moldy. I took two bites of it and could not finish it. She then came back around to ask if we needed something else and asked me if everything was OK at that point I didn't want to ask or complain about my food since she seemed like she was irate. She then proceeded to tell my husband that she is the only one on duty and the store is usually not this busy. It's only her and the Cook in the store which in reality it was my family and one other family that was in the store. She then stated that she works only for tips which with her behavior I don't understand how she gets. Any tips I usually never leave a review, and I usually never complain. The last two times I ordered a meal online with a 30oz drink.. a 16oz drink was delivered. What frustrates me is that they up charge alot for the 30z drink and for them to not even deliver the right size is disappointing. Had expected the food to be at least standard iHOP quality but entire visit was disappointing. Smelly (mold/fumigation smell), dirty surroundings (women's bathroom sink faucets falling off wall), sign in front saying help wanted, and only the cook (Ry*n) on staff trying to run cash register etc. Should have walked out door but foolishly sat down. Ended up paying a price 20% higher than listed on the menu (cook acting as cashier stated "I'm not trying to Cheat you", it is all in the Cash Register (which he did not know how to run). Finally just payed & left without eating, having ruined my appetite. This place is an argument for closing some non-functional locations. I also used to think folks should work rather than sitting home getting gov't pay... meeting this places staff has changed my mind about that also. Went in to sit down and get food there were people waiting. Someone who is waiting told me I had to sign the piece of paper with my name and number of people. They had no one to greet us the kitchen staff when I asked what was going on, was rude and joking they then told me that they had new kitchen staff who they were teaching how to cook. So that's when I decided I needed to go to a different IHOP because I'm not gonna get crappy food because they can't teach people properly read more

My family were pretty hungry, and we thought that it would be a good idea to go to IHop since we have never ever been there. When we sat down, the table was very sticky. They probably used syrup and honey to wipe the tables since there was a sweet smell to the place we were sitting. Furthermore, we got our food and it really wasn't a whole lot. I mean just looking at the plate made me think I would still be starving. The worst experience I've ever had at a ihop. We had a pick up order. First the server never came to the front to talk to us. We had to go and find her. It took over almost an hour to get our food. She was the only server. Our food was cold and dry. The scrambled eggs were hard. Our pancakes were hard. The absolute worst experience! They shouldn't even get one star. Unfortunately, there was only 1 waiter for the whole restaurant, who told us we couldn't be seated because she was already too busy (honestly not her fault she's the only one working) so after a few minutes I just decided to leave. First of all when walking in we we waited for about five minutes while the hostess was having A personal conversation with two customers that were leaving. As we stood behind us she did not even acknowledge us at all. When she finished her conversation and the customer left we had to ask to be helped. She told me the kitchen was slow because they were cleaning all the grills at the same time. The food tasted fine. I was never offered a refill on my drink. After I gave her my credit card (a Apple Card) to pay the bill, she came back to the table and told me I had to tell her how much of a tip I was leaving so she could close out the check. They put pancake batter in their omelets UNLESS you order from the back Healthier menu. Be sure and tell them! Weird to put it in but they have always done this and back in college I almost died from it.
