I came here for a quick dinner at the request of my 3 year old lol. The waitress was friendly. There was no wait at all and the place was pretty empty. The food arrived very fast and was typical yummy IHOP. The restaurant appeared clean and the servers were practicing proper Covid era cleaning practices. I would definitely dine here again.

I ordered carryout and the food was great and the service was even better. Only ding is that the person taking orders over the phone talked too fast to understand. But she got my order right and it was ready by the time I got there.

Food was great, nice service, being thou they were really busy, the only thing, when its all you can eat pancakes, they seems to be slow at bringing out the pancakes as fast as you order them, I did ask the waiter about this and his response was that they were switching over the in shift, over all service was great, it was my first time trying an omellete which was amazing.

Caught a cool brunch with friends before this storm hit. Located in New Carrollton, it's a smaller spot than most IHOP. Service: We had a cool waiter but I think he was overwhelmed helping us.(We were a group of 10) He took all the orders and forgot items, confused one meal and took madddddd long to come back to the table. He was working two sides of the resturant . No one helped him bring out the meals but after the 6th time reminding him about items he forgot, a manager helped him bring out two hot cocoas. Food: No bad but not off the chain. Presentation looked like they rushed although it took 30 minutes. Overall it's a ok run thru spot. From the looks at other reviews it is consistent in operation!

This was the Omlet o ordered. I ate part a bit much to my regret. I tip the waitress 50% because I felt sorry for her for working there.

The food came quick and for once, of all the ihops I had been to, it was cooked to perfection and looked real.

First night there, after 10 hours on the road, we had a meal so good, and so convenient, we went back Saturday and Sunday night before getting underway home on Monday morning. I wish the kind people there a great success and please, keep up the good work. A few highlites. The "free" salsa is some of the best I've ever encountered, much like Chico's in Welaka, Florida, distinct for it's use of Black Pepper. Secondly, the Guacamole was the best I've ever had outside my families homemade recipe. Very similar to ours in that it had salt, garlic, and lemon juice, in perfect proportions. We ate everything from Gumbo to fried Rainbow Trout, to Cheese Burger and Reuben Sandwiches, and every thing was splendid. The beer was COLD and the waitresses were friendly and on time. One evening we even had the owner serve out table. She was very nice to us. I hope they're still aroung if I ever have an occasion to head back to Washington.

She described the flavor profile of the drink specials which made it easy to select something to suit my taste. The Hennessy Raspberry Lemonade was a great choice. The food was served promptly. The atmosphere at the bar was pleasant and I had engaging conversations with other patrons.

I ordered a Bahn Mi Rice Bowl and it was delicious with the right amount of spice and seasoning. I was a little worried about the level of chili in the tofu but was assured Franklins typically keeps it fairly mild...and it was. The fresh mint was lovely mixed with the jasmine rice, carrot ribbons and finely chopped mushrooms. The chili peach jam was a perfect sauce. The restaurant has a lot of character with artwork on the walls and lots of booth seating as well as tables and chairs. There is also outdoor seating at picnic tables at "The Hut" and the Quarantiki Room open seasonally. Make sure to check out the store next door, which offers a wide variety of gift items as well as their craft brews.

I am on their email list (and yes I read most of my emails that are of interest to me) and noted they had an Oktoberfest kick off party happening this week on Thursday evening from 6pm -9pm in their outside patio, so decided to come here. We showed up at 6pm on the dot and the place outside was already packed with people. They were having a live Oktoberfest trio band play, so that was cool! A lot of people were in their Oktoberfest garb/outfits, which was adorable. The challenge was getting a beer and a non alcoholic drink for my mom. They had nothing NA for her and she ended up just having a glass of ice water. I got in the mobbed line and had a Kellerbier, which was brewed especially for Franklin's and Oktoberfest. They had an issue with their handheld payment device so that made the line longer. Beer was fine, but wished I could have gotten my mom a lemonade or iced tea. The other issue was the seating. We opted to sit over in the sandbox/kids area and the picnic tables didnt feel like the best use of space. The trio band was lovely and played some nice tunes including Edelweiss which is one of my favorite songs ever (yes I loved The Sound of Music and have watched this so many times as a kid with my mom) but it would have been nice to see the band more in the center of things, closer to the bar hut. They were serving up German sausages and huge pretzels but the line for beverages and food was so long that I didnt bother to purchase food. This was a great idea and I hope that the next one they do, they can iron out some of the wonky kinks. I'd come back again for an Oktoberfest for sure. My mom and I had a great time!

They have some seriously good feng shui!! Finally, I got to try this place with a girlfriend on a weekday during their happy hour. I arrived first and was able to get the "best table" in the house for us as per our waitress and I would agree. You have a little alcove and good view of the entire restaurant. HH prices are really good, $9 cocktails and $8 bites. I got a spicy margarita, where they put some fresh jalapeños in it. My friend also got a margarita. We started off with date wrapped with bacon, and patatas bravas! The date wrapped bacon was soo good, the dates just melt in your mouth. One of the best I have had in a long while. Patatas bravas were also good. We wanted to get their stuffed spring rolls but they were out of that so we ended up with empanadas, one chicken and one beef. Both very tasty! The HH experience was lovely and with great company too! Lots of really good conversation, making a new friend, excellent service and very good food. I would definitely come back here anytime for HH or dinner! This place was great!

My friend was able to make a reservation while standing outside waiting for our table. Lo and behold, we were seated because of the reservation while my walk-in check-in was never updated. Food: Patatas Bravas - simple. This is a classic tapas dish. I think it could've used a touch more salt either on the potatoes or in the dolloped sauce. Fried Crab Risotto Balls - Mid. There was only a hint of crab within the risotto ball. I would go with the classic option to avoid upcharges for seafood. Gambas al Ajillo - Great dish. It was buttery, simple, and clean. The shrimp were poached perfectly and the toasted bread was the perfect addition to soak up the sauce. Tip: Recommend going for brunch with a reservation! On to my next adventure....
