We were seated in an area that was rather full and then jammed into a table where the tables were only about 6 inches apart. I felt like I was there with the group's on either side of me. Food took over an hour to even get to our table waitress did not come over by us in that hour once then immediately after we got our shitty food that was all cold and drier than the ass crack of the Sarah desert she threw checks in our face. We were with a group of 6 and I'll be surprised if we don't get sick if the kitchen looks remotely like the disgusting bathrooms. I walked next door to use the bathroom. Right away pretty bad experience, earlier my sister and I went in and there was nobody inside eating. I completely understand why now. We waited inside for about five minutes and a family of three followed in shortly after us. A waitress finally noticed that there were people by the entrance and said she'd be with us in a minute. Finally when she got to us, I assumed she greeted my sister and I since we were the first ones to arrive. But the thing is, the waitress gave us a stank eye and attitude, saying "Oh they were here first but whatever." just loud enough for us to hear. She took us to our seats, randomly sitting us closest to the entrance as if trying to rush to get to the other family. She asked if this spot was okay but didn't even wait for an answer before leaving us. Seriously, lady chill. it's only two tables you don't have to rush. Right when she sat them down she proceeded to assist them before us?? She greeted them so nicely and even guided them through the menu. She was so passive aggressive towards us, and not to point any fingers it felt racist for her to serve a white family before two asian women. We lost our appetites and walked out. right off the bat it was a bad experience, we were one of 3 tables in the entire restaurant yet we sat at our table completely ignored for ten minutes before our waitress came to greet us. her entire uniform was dirty and looked like she had not washed it any time recently. She dropped our food off but never once came back while we were eating to ask how we were doing. she eventually came back to our table when our plates were clear and asked us how everything was while setting the bill down on the table. she didn't ask if we wanted anything else, and didn't offer to fill empty water glasses, just dropped the bill and was done. We waited to get seated for like 20 minutes then the waitress took our orders and it took them 20 minutes to bring out our order with 2 other couples in the restaurant then when they brought our food out it was cold and we asked for a manager and it took the like 15 minutes to bring us a manager so we can tell them about our food being cold. read more

Oh boy I have a story. I went out for a brunch with my grandma, and sister. We ordered this pumpkin spice iced coffee, and it was sour. It tasted nothing like coffee. Intact it tasted how chemicals smell. Me and my sister complained, and the waitress insisted, "Oh,well sometimes coffee is bitter." And me and my sister are literally COFFEE ADDICTS and we KNOW bitter, and this was not it. Same goes for our food. Our biscuits were dry, the pancakes were sour just like the coffee, as for every other dairy product on our plate. The eggs, sour. Biscuits, dry. Bacon, very greasy, Coffee, sour. Fond du Lac WI restaurant sucks! Horrible service and the food is barely edible. I went there by myself twice and both times I was seated at a small 2 person booth near the entrance by the cashier. I was never given a menu or asked if I wanted coffee or a drink. Both times I sat for 15 minutes and was never waited on all while 3 employees were talking amongst themselves at the cashier station. Both times I walked out telling the employee that they evidently didn't want my business. I tried it a third time with a friend and we were seated right away, but it took a while for a waitress to come and take our order. Once we finally ordered and got our food, the food was just OK. We had a horrible experience during our brunch at the IHOP in Oshkosh. Our waitress not only bring out the wrong food for some members of our party, she also forgot to bring some food out for others. We were very patient with her but noticed that she was getting frustrated. At first we assumed she was getting frustrated with herself for all the mistakes she was making but soon realized she was actually upset that we wouldn't just settle for the wrong meals she brought out to us. As she walked away from us she screamed out to another employee that she was done with us. She grabbed new customers and started a new table and never returned back to us during the remainder of our meal. The only good experience we had was with Manager Maria. We spoke to Maria and explained to her what happened. She was very apologetic for her employee's behavior and refunded 25% of our total and offered a coupon for later meals. read more

It smelled really good. And while we were able to get a seat in the nearly empty restaurant we waited for anything. Water. Coffee. Acknowledgement. It looked like one male, the guy who seated us, was the one working while quite a few staff hung out near the pop machine. To be fair, it's possible the service was faster on the other side of the restaurant. We finally left and went to Mike's Family Restaurant - which we highly recommend. Seated immediately. Runs like a well oiled machine and all the locals eat here so that tells you what you need to know. Coffee here is amazing as well. read more

Let's start this off with a bad Dad joke. What's a pirate's favorite restaurant? ......IHOP! Get it!?!? Anyways my folks were in town and wanted to get breakfast and they chose here. Humph. Not my first choice. I usually stay away from these chains as I'm rarely impressed...I can't even remember the last time I was at an IHOP. Good news! It was a great experience! Of course you can get pancakes, but there are plenty of other breakfast selections. I was eyeing up the omelettes. They seemed to a lot of over the top, trying to be creative omelette choices. You could still build your own omelette if you're not into that excitement. I got a ham, cheese, and avocado omelette (ugh, I'm such a millennial) and surprised how big it was! It was pretty tasty and kept me full. I'm glad I just got a side of fruit, because I wouldn't been able to finish anything else. The service was great! Sunday mornings can be pretty busy and we got the service you expected. Attentive, didn't bother us too much or less, and was on top of everything from beginning to end. Another nice touch is they leave a little coffee pot on your table so you can keep filling your cup...nice touch. Pre pandemic this place had amazing service, amazing food and was always open on time. We've been there about 6 times post pandemic and you have to wait 10 minutes for someone to seat you (even when the place is empty) many of the employees smell like cigarettes. I really wish I would've checked reviews prior to having breakfast. Ihop is one of my favorite places. This location was sub par at best. I waited 35min for a table which is pretty standard for a Sunday morning. When seated the table had to be cleaned first, I wasn't given any silverware, the server took my drink order (coffee) and grapefruit juice. There wasn't any grapefruit juice, so cranberry was suggested; only for her to return and say she didn't have enough for a full glass... I ordered T-bone steak cooked well, it was served cold and medium well. I was never asked if I needed a refill on my coffee, I had to ask for silverware after my food came. I asked for tobasco and steak sauce, which the tobasco didn't have a top on it. This was the worse. read more

Multiple issues at visit. Did not offer our child a menu even when we mentioned it. We got the breakfast samplers and asked for crispy bacon. The bacon was so undercooked the meat was barely warm and it was as soft as a fully cooked spaghetti noodle. When this was pointed out to the waitress, she replaced it gladly, but brought back bacon that it was black and burned. When that was pointed out to her, there was absolutely no apology an offer to give us a discount on our bill. Our pancakes came out 15 minutes into the meal and about 10 minutes after the rest of our food was served. The syrup container on the table was 3/4 empty and had a broken Spicket so it came out slowly at times and other times and in bursts The waitress arrive when we were attempting to pour syrup, but never offered to fill it, Husband ordered water and orange juice but never received the water. During our visit, especially knowing that it was long amount of time and pieces and parts of our meal were being delivered at a time not once. Did our waitress ask how the rest of our food was The final insult to injury was when we were signing our receipt to pay our bill our table started getting cleaned. We asked if the person cleaning the table happened to be the manager on duty and she said she was. We pointed out some but not all of the mistakes before she just simply said oh I'm sorry and smiled. I was not given the opportunity to finish explaining all of the issues. No further attempts other than offering to get the waitress to come over to apologize. It had already been excessively long amount of times so we did not wait around for that to happen. Just left the IHop in Oshkosh. May never go back. This has always been a great place to stop for good food done right for our girl meet ups, Not so much anymore. Got there at 1:45, gave our name, checked out all the open tables, some cleaned, some not, then we wait. Lot of people in the back kitchen, was told that only one cook on so things are slow. Real reason was No-one was gonna do anything. At 2:06 I told a woman in IHop garb that I could not stand there any longer and I would just like to seat myself, there were two groups of 3 ahead of me & my friend with 5 tables/booths open we could all be more comfortable sitting with a refreshment, at least we would be in the restaurant with hope to place an order. She had to check with her boss, Five minutes after another woman came out from the back & seated ALL of us. Again being told they only have one cook on so things were slow. Fast forward ~ Ordered our food & waited,,and waited,,and waited !! At 2:54 I hailed the waiter that brought our coffee and ask were our food was, again, being told there was only one cook on I told him to let that ONE COOK know that we have waited long enough for our food & other people that came after us were finishing their food, We were getting angry & he doesn't want to deal with 'Angry Woman when They Are Hungry'. Food came with-in 10 minutes. We got no pancakes with our egg & sausage order. No hashbrowns as ordered with the Omelet, No salsa as ordered. I had an absolutely horrible experience at IHOP early this afternoon. My wife and I love to go to IHOP for a late breakfast. We usually wait until the church crowd subsides. When we entered it was not busy, had plenty of staff walking around yet we had wait for 5 to 10 minutes to even be acknowledged. We asked for a table and we're taken to a booth (we asked nicely to be moved) and they seated us at a table. Our waitress came over after another 10 to 15 minutes (I was seated towards the waitress area and could see everything), I had been watching her doing nothing for that whole time. So I'm a little irritated at this point but not to any degree, just a little frustrated. My wife ordered a soda and I ordered coffee with cream and sugar and to please bring silverware. So she brings the drinks but no cream, sugar or silverware. I asked her to please bring the other items. Finally, after at least 5 minutes she brings sugar and cream but no silverware. Again, keep in mind they were not busy at all. I stirred my not very hot coffee anymore with my wife's straw that came with her soda. Now we finally order our food and she has nothing but an attitude with us. She came over to a neighboring table and I asked if she could please add an order of whole wheat toast with grape jelly to my order and you would have thought that I completely reordered my entire "breakfast". With an obvious "humph" she said ok. So our food came about a half hour later nice and hot and looking good. She drops it off and off she goes without a word. We both had pancakes and she left us with two extremely small plastic containers of maple syrup and no strawberry syrup for my wife as she ordered strawberry and banana pancakes. Guess what else we didn't have? Yep, still no silverware! So we patiently waited for to come back ( she wasn't stopping at our table) and asked if we could have more syrup both strawberry and maple and also asked about my toast. She came back with the items requested but no grape jelly. So we finally get to eat our cold breakfast. I'm 60 and a very good tipper (always at least 20%). I have stiffed a waitress once in my entire life and now that is twice. I sent my toast back and asked them to remove it from my ticket and they refused. I paid $2.50 for coffee that was never refilled. I always treat wait staff with upmost respect as they have a tough job but the way I was treated by this waitress was just not a very nice experience. We typically go to IHOP twice a month with family and friends and have ALWAYS had a great time. It's amazing that one person with a terrible attitude can ruin an entire meal. The service I received sucked unbelievably. I ordered apple juice and it was water with a hint of apple. Disgusting. I ordered a classic breakfast burrito and a breakfast sampler and it came with no egg just meat and cheese? No salsa, no eggs.
