The food here is what you expect from iHop. Nothing extraordinary, but good, filling, and fast food. My rating is solely due to the manager, Edgar, or whoever it is that works on Sunday afternoons. Super rude and unaccommodating. Had a strict rule that his waiters enforce in no substitutions for meat items with vegetarian. Meaning either eat meat or get nothing in that specific combo - even extra hash browns or an egg in replacement of sausage or bacon was not allowed. The second issue came when my friend had a coupon and I did as well. We always pay for ourselves and ask for separate checks when we eat at IHOP - which we've done several times. However the waiter wouldn't honor our coupons. Which is fine. We asked for the manager and this is where it went all down hill. He comes in and rips apart my friend for "being wrong" even though the fine print was in our favor. He tells us he's not going to honor our request, tells us to stop asking, and walks away amidst conversation. I get the part where he's trying to make money and as a businessman, I understand that entirely. But the manner in which Edgar acted to this sophisticated lady, who just requested clarification, was unacceptable. I've never seen a manager act this rudely and I'm very disappointed that a franchise as well established as IHOP would have someone of this character in this position. We came in to IHOP we had 10 coins in our ihop rewards we made that CLEAR. he told us how to how to use it and everything and we ate our food and got two three packs of pancakes using two coupons .. everyone knew we wanted to use the coins the waiter too. The waiter comes tells us we can only use of stack of the coins so we could only use three coins for the three pancakes so since we got two coupons leading it to be 6 pancakes we needed to pay for the three other ones out of pocket. I've always loved IHOP ever since I was a kid! I've found that no matter which one you go to, the food is always consistently good! My daughter had the blueberry pancakes that were loaded with blueberries! I had the chicken Florentine crepes. Lot's of juicy chicken along with onions, mushrooms, and spinach all topped off with a Hollandaise sauce. You could have plated it on a fancy plate with a side and served it in a four star restaurant. LOVE their coffee too! Everyone knows that coffee is a huge part of my life! read more

I know, I'm giving five stars to an IHOP... But seriously, this is by far the nicest and CLEANEST IHOP I have ever been to. When I walked in, the place was immaculately clean. I couldn't even find fault in the silverware and dishes. The space was pretty large, open, and well-lit. There was even a big aquarium, that looked well maintained, up front by the cash registers. Upon being seated by the polite and attentive wait staff, I noticed the table was spotless. No sticky syrup spots anywhere to be found (a first in my experience). The syrup containers were all wiped clean and well labeled too. Best of all, the pancakes were delicious! Fluffy, buttermilky, food from the heavens. The eggs, bacon, sausage, and hash browns were ok. But mmmm, those pancakes sure hit the spot! I'd definitely come back to this location! read more

Every time I come here I feel like I hear a click on a scoreboard. Chocolate chip pancakes and chocolate milk number 9,004,345. Click click ding. I've ended up here way too many times. I think the last time I got something different was during the funnel cake extravaganza. After an all nighter of Scrabble, chatting with my best friend, and drinking some Dunkaccinos on a swing set in the park.. funnel cakes with fruit and whipped cream sounded like a superb idea. Well they finally reopened it's been a long well worth wait. They have new seats and light fixtures a new fish tank that's pretty awesome and painted everything. I like te new look it's even more comfortable place to enjoy breakfast then it was prior. So me and friend went and it was pretty busy but we got our apps after 20 mins of waiting and even after she gave it to us she didn't take our order. After a few minutes she comes and takes it but in the middle she stops and talks to the table next to us having a conversation. Then we went to the bathroom and our apps were gone and there was a bunch of cups and trash on our table and we don't know which cups were ours and no one is coming up to us so we don't know if she cancelled our orders or not. read more

One thing that I love, is that the owners are very charitable and community minded, the only reason I stepped in the door, after a bad experience years ago, was a charity event for Kiwanis. came here for the free ihop pancake day and this place is in a town a lot better than the one i go to in newark. the place is clean and i got seated really fast. but the thing about this place was that i was never helped in a timely manner. i legit waited 10 minutes at my table and NO one came - i actually moved tables to sit with a friend i spotted and she had came after me and just finished ordering. i ordered my free pancakes and the coldbrew milkshake with oreos in it but i only got a coldbrew milkshake (so that was disappointing) and i never got water when i asked for it. this place wasn't even that busy, it's genuinely unacceptable i waited that long to be seen and even when we were waiting for our check we waited more than 10 minutes and my friend had to go even because it was taking that long. i really had high hopes for this place but honestly, the wait really kills you and you waste a lot of time. the food was good though so i guess if you like waiting and you're not in a rush, this place is for you, but it really was unbearable how long i had to wait (i really didn't expect to be here longer than 30-45 minutes for free pancakes, but i was here over an hour and a half). read more

Stopped for breakfast on our way home from NYC. We were seated quickly, and coffee and juice was brought out immediately. I ordered the Breakfast Crepes, and they were amazing. Wife had the breakfast sampler, and enjoyed it. The only thing we'd change is the syrup. The syrup is fake. We make our own maple syrup every year, and there is nothing like that. This is one more the more popular locations for Ihops .it's usually crowded with a friendly waiter to seat you. I never had to wait more than 10 minutes. It's huge inside where they have a separate room for customers and their service is really great! The food here is also great and I love their mocha drinks!! There alll fantastic! Wanna hear something crazy? This is the BEST IHOP I've been to and guess what, it is located in my town! Wanna know what's crazier? I wouldn't have said anything of the sort several years ago before they closed. The place was sloppy, the wait was long, and the food was subpar. However, with the new owners/management ever since they reopened, I am glad to say that we have a very solid spot to eat at for Sunday morning breakfasts. I have seen the before and the after with this establishment and when I tell you how drastically different everything is from top to bottom, it is a change for the good that I suspect will keep this place up and running for years to come.
