However, prior to getting our meal half of the dining room we were in was closed off and before we finished our meal (a good 45 minutes before closing) they were vacumning on the other side of the partition they'd pulled across. Not particularly welcoming, Elmer's and it's not the first time it has happened to us. This doesn't even include the table full of tomorrow's set ups that employees were working and gabbing at. Ultimately, either you're open or you're not. Vacumning around people trying to eat is rude. Be better.

I've been to better IHOP's. This one is nothing great, let me tell you. For one thing, my food always seems to be super-greasy. The waitstaff is very nice and it's usually pretty quiet (maybe word's out it's not so great?) inside but there are absolutely positively NO substitutions for anything and they charge extra for the slightest thing -- one of the waitresses told me it was the very anal owner who decided on all this. We used to go to the IHOP in Staten Island all the time and get half French fries - half onion rings, and this is a big no-no at the Pocatello IHOP. How ridiculous. read more

I was shocked to see the so so reviews for this IHOP location. I have had such and incredible experience there recently that I will continue to bring my family there everytime we travel through, and hope to have the same great food, incredible service..THANK YOU KELSI:), and over all home town attitude. Our waitress made even convinced me to try something new...and Im pretty set in my way..and now I am hooked!!!Thanks again, and we will be stopping in Pocatello just to visit our friendly IHOP every other week. Food is meh. Atmosphere is meh. Staff is okay. We probably wouldn't come here again if it weren't for the occasional "two meals for the price of one" coupons. Husband likes it okay, but I'm just not into the food. It's bland and greasy. Not being a huge American breakfast eater, I typically get fare from the lunch/dinner menu, which never really seems worth the price. I will, however, give them props for introducing a healthier choices menu. read more
