Pretty good for an IHOP. I did really enjoy my meal; was quick, the portions were decent, and the flavor was spot on. My only disappointment was that my pancakes were miniature (part of the breakfast sampler) and I was expecting full-size pancakes. The picture in the menu was a little misleading. I love the butter pecan syrup they offer, it's one of my favorite things about eating here, and since I live in Prescott, I don't get to visit this IHOP nearly enough. We love IHOP and used to go there almost every Saturday. However, a few months ago we went there and a guy was walking from table to table doing balloon animals for the kids. This sounds like a nice thing, but it was extremely distracting. As a combat Veteran with PTSD, it is hard enough to be in large crowds, but to have popping balloons going off behind me was too much. Every Saturday I call and ask if the balloon guy is going to be there and every Saturday he is and every Saturday we find some other place to eat. We miss IHOP, but cannot tolerate the balloon guy. I just want to enjoy my breakfast. My wife and I cannot be the only ones who feel this way. read more

If 0 stars was an option that is what I would rate my experience. My server Robert was rude, and never checked on our table once, since we had gotten our food. Drinks sat empty throughout the meal,extra items asked for never made it to the table, was charged extra for a bowl of fruit, which was small and looked as though it had been sitting out for hours. My server checked on all 3 tables that surrounded mine and avoided mine at all cost. I went to use the restroom and it was absolutely DISGUSTING. I asked to speak with a manager at the end of my meal and the hostess went and spoke with Robert my server as though he was the manager. NEVER AGAIN will I go to this location. read more

As far as IHOP's go this one isn't bad, in fact, it's pretty good. My family goes here for breakfast whenever we are in town. The food is top notch for an IHOP and the service is great 9 times out of 10. Obviously we don't always get a good server, but more often then not we get a fantastic server. One of the highlights of going is that we always get our daughter a balloon animal when we go on the weekends. The balloon guy is great! read more

Visited today for breakfast and had the pleasure of listening to the fire alarm wail over and over. Malfunctions are understandable but IHOP did nothing to compensate for ruining our breakfast. Also the woman's bathroom was atrocious, urine on the seats, no toilet paper or paper towels and they weren't even busy today. read more

Worst experience ever, they're lucky I have to give them a star!!! The second we walk in the hostess has a snappy attitude and I actually said there was no other seats open when the whole other side of the restaurant was actually completely cleared out. Sadly they keep it so darn cold in there every time we try it we end up having to leave. You cannot enjoy a meal when you are freezing to death. Even the table was cold to the touch. Decided to take my girlfriend out for a late night breakfast here today and it wasn't as I expected. Firstly the bacon I got with my meal was raw and not cooked much so I mentioned it to the waiter and comes back with completely burnt bacon! And he also avoided to refill my girlfriends water as he walked passed us about 6 times even though we put it at the edge of the table. Second, the staff is horrible I over heard another table had to send their meals back because they were completely cold because the waitress was to busy talking/flirting with customers. This is not a well run IHOP! Waitress was clueless about the menue. Took her 5 trips and 5 minutes to remember to bring ketchup, hot sauce, refill 2 drinks and get us more napkins. My order arrived missing a side, that came 15 minutes LATER , cold, dry and flavorless. The manager was cooking and didn't seem to understand the situation! Mind u we were the ONLY table in use!!!!! The receipt we were given upon paying was NOT the normal receipt u usually get printed out, The manager rang up the transaction. There was NO survey information on the receipt! Wonder WHY? Let me start with saying the food is great, on ihop standards at least. I haven't eaten in at this location, but I have gotten carry out several times now because I LoVE the red velvet pancakes. The first time I got them, there was no icing on the pancakes but there was a nicely sized cup on the side, when I got home(20 minute drive) I opened it and took a taste because the color was off, it was pumpkin pancake BATTER. I would still be giving 5 stars if that had been the only time but the most recent(I've picked up maybe 3-4 times) they did the same thing again. I can't remember the waitresses name, but it's been the same one both times. This time I checked once I got in my car so I could go back in if it was wrong and my pancakes were soaked in, you guessed it, pumpkin pancake batter. They had to remake my pancakes all together and they(thankfully) got it right the second time but the waitress brought it back and I heard her say to the cook that it had just been sitting there too long. Time does not make cream cheese icing transform into pumpkin pancake batter. I will continue to go here but I urge anyone who gets carry out to check their order before they leave, especially if it has icing or glaze of any sort on it. read more

Upon arrival, the place was very busy, but there was only one other person waiting for a table with us. We were a party of two. Three waitresses/greeters? were all gathered together engaged in an unprofessional conversation about a customer who was seated directly behind them. They then proceeded to ask around in their group as to who the party (our party) was on the list (that they wrote down) and insulted each other on their handwriting. One of them was practically yelling, and we had spoken up multiple times saying that the party was us. We were one of two parties waiting so it shouldn't have been too hard to hear us. The waitress was very young looking but must've been hard of hearing. After she finally figured out that the party was us, she directed us to a booth that was far too big for two people. She never asked for our drinks and we sat around waiting for about 10-15 minutes for another waitress. We had no silverware at our table and it took a while for our waitress to notice. One waitress chased a customer to the bathroom to give them their receipt, and wandered around the busy floor like a clown. Very unprofessional service at this one, probably due to a lack of employee training and no supervision. At least the food was decent. read more

Went into the IHOP late last night, thank god it was open I was starving, and the service could not have been better. We were treated very well and given everything we needed at the drop of a hat. The server, and the manager were both extremely friendly. To top off a great evening, the food was PERFECT. I ordered the breakfast steak tips grilled with onions and mushrooms, came with eggs, hash browns, and 2 pancakes for a GREAT PRICE! One of the best meals I've ever had. The flavors of the steak were amazing! Melts in your mouth and you don't want it to end. Pancakes were perfect as well, fluffy and great flavor, didn't even need syrup. Can't wait to go back. Went here yesterday for breakfast. Husband ordered an omelette with hashbrows and an additional 2 stack of pancakes. Waiter stated it's an additional charge which we were fine with. He asked if my husband wanted 2 or 3 pancakes. Husband replied 2. Food comes out minus the additional pancakes. We ask for the pancakes. Waiter becomes rude and said he got a side of hash browns with his meal and not pancakes. Husband says yes I understand that but I also ordered an additional side of pancakes. Waiter argues we didn't. Who cares. Just add on pancakes. He brings out the pancakes but instead of just leaving them, has to say something snarky. Just so you know I'm not charging you for the pancakes even though I should. Comes around to clean the table in front of us and again has something to say. Just a reminder that you aren't being charged for the pancakes you didn't order. Brings the check. Again, not charging you because you didn't order them. We go to pay our bill and ask the cashier to please add the pancakes we did order. She does. We weren't looking for free food or attitude. read more

I'm sure IHOP as a chain is great. I have been here 3 times. Got sick the first time, decided not to eat the second time, in which my wife got sick. The third time was my own stupid fault for going with a group of friends. Guess what got sick again. The staff is friendly, the food OK, and the service reasonably fast (unless you make the mistake of going there for breakfast on a weekend day, then all bets are off, lol). On a weekend day, at breakfast time, be prepared to wait quite some time for a table, and then for your food. Also, be prepared to pay adult prices for children portions (e.g., $5.99 (plus tax & tip) gets you a fruit crepe about twice the diameter of a #2 pencil. Unless you have some dietary restriction, most adults would want 3-4). Also, if your table is near the middle of one of the sides, you will have a direct line of sight to see the waitress open a can for your soup, pouring that can into a bowl and then placing it in the microwave. Not a great surprise, I guess, but a little unsettling to watch. Also, the soup is served in a wide "bowl" that is so shallow it really qualifies more as a plate. And believe it or not, you don't get any more (according to the waitress) whether you get the soup as a side, or pay $3-4 for a bowl. On a side note, I got a bacon club and soup the other day. Soup arrived in about 2 minutes (tasty) and the sandwich about a minute or so later. When something arrives that quickly, makes me think I am getting someone else's (that changed their mind or something). read more

Sometimes I hate to be right. When it's Sunday evening, a place is near empty and the coffee looked more like tea, you just know that a terrible meal is on its way. With the exception of the doughy centers, the pancakes were eatable. Other than that, the FOOD WAS AWFUL. On a positive note, it did not make me sick. From the register, we noticed that the salad prep table was filthy, complete with used dressing cups. If this were not a chain, it would be out of business. read more
