We had THE MOST AMAZING experience at Lynx Lake Cafe!! Our server was Kimberly and she was the best. We sat outside because we had our dog and she offered him water and treats. The michelaea was the best I've ever had and the food was delicious! I can't wait to visit again when I'm in the area.

The food is really incredible! The wait time may be long (1 hr 15 minutes last time) because last two times there was only one chef and one waiter ... but you are in nature with a gorgeous view of the lake! Our hat off to the waiter ...he was swamped, overloaded with all the tables and took quite some yelling from the chef for not picking up the food fast enough , BUT he never lost his cool, never stopped smiling, remained very pleasant AND dropped everything to help an elderly couple to their car! We gave him a big tip and will be back!! Ps: Kimberley was amazing the time before! Missed her!

Lots of outdoor seating, park bench style. A handful of tables under the awning for times of weather. Great spot to go with the dog prior or after a walk around the lake! It's very hit or miss, call ahead as it can end up being closed due to being short staffed. When it's good it's great, and when it's not it's usually due to it being overcrowded or short staffed and crazy long wait times.

Links Lake Café review Well, my husband and I are in Prescott for the month of July. We are trying several Restaurants while here! This one was referred to us by our friends as having yummy food and a great view! First, they were correct the view is outstanding. It's a beautiful lake. It'll be a luck of the draw to get a window seat though as there are only a few. But don't fret, you can still go outside and enjoy the view from outside. And it's still visible from other seats. We decided to come for breakfast. My husband got a regular combo breakfast, and I had the Brekki bowl. Both items were great! The only disappointment in the food was we thought we saw photos of delicious fried potatoes. But instead, they served us tater tots! Not good. They really made my bowl mushy. Husband didn't even touch his. (not a dealbreaker, I would just order something besides them next time now that we know). I would say the menu they had was quite reduced than the ones previously posted on-line on Yelp. Now there's the issue of our Server. This gentleman was so non-interested in friendliness, conversation, nothing. He made zero niceties, never came back and asked us how our meal was. He showed up when it was obvious we were finished eating and asked if we needed anything else. We said no. Well...not now J - we are finished eating (I certainly would have imbibed in a second mimosa!) lol So then he set our bill down on our table and walked away. Not so much as a thank you or goodbye!! When he sat us at our table, I thanked him. When he finished taking our order I thanked him. When he dropped off our order, I thanked him. (my husband told me to stop thanking him) I've never had someone be so rude to me that I tried to be nice and appreciative to. I mean, everyone has a bad day, but this was beyond. My husband and I noticed the other two female servers who were laughing and chatting with their customers. We had server-envy that we weren't being served by one of them!! All this said, we will be going back in the next few weeks! However, I will make SURE we have a different server experience! If it weren't for the poor service, we would've given five stars, even though we didn't care for tater tots.

I LOVE this place! The food is fantastic and you can't beat the view. The kitchen isn't the fastest, but it's worth the wait.

Food is exceptional, and ambience is for outdoor enthusiasts. No parking problems. Creamy dreamy dish was out of this world.

    Does this place still exist?

Yes it is still open. But, it is not at all as good as it was before the new ownership. It used to be very special and a place to go for nice treats. Now it is nothing better than Denny's. The staff is very rude, the place is very noisy, and the… Read more

Perused the vast menu and decided on the Hermosa Chicken sandwich which was a nice sized chicken breast with sprouts, avo and bacon. Not a tomato lover, so I opt out. Nice size sandwich on whole wheat grilled bread. Honestly, it could have used a nice garlic, or basil/dill aeoli or something, but overall a good choice. The decor is Southern California based with surfboards, beach photos and pictures I recognized as Huntington Beach (I'm a native Californian, now AWOL). I loved the SDSU pennant on the wall - my college Alma mater in Arizona! Atmosphere is light and friendly, service attentive and food ample and satisfying. Very unassuming on a Frontage Road off 69...but you'll love the atmosphere.

My husband tried the French toast breakfast with bacon and thought it was delicious. I ordered a Ham & Cheese Omelette (well done) with a side of crispy hash browns and they were both cooked to perfection. My only issue was the amount of ham that was served. It truly was very minimal and I would've preferred that the ham be mixed with the egg as opposed to spooned in the fold, but I guess I should've requested it that way. Our friends had their usual Chicken Fried Chicken and Eggs with Bacon breakfasts and both had the house potatoes, which I got to try and they were fantastic! I would certainly order them instead of the hash browns next time. One of our friends also added a waffle to his breakfast and we all took a quarter of it (because sharing is caring! ). I'm not a huge fan of waffles, so I cant really give an opinion one way or another. I'm guessing it was good, because they ate it! Anyway, cute little establishment with friendly service and a place that I'd surely return to in the future.
