Texas Roadhouse always has good bread and good sides. As well as good appetizers and a fun ambiance environment. The service at this location overall was good but nothing special. However the main problems with this location aren't entirely their fault. The first main problem right away is the parking lot can be a hassle. Especially since they're really only open for dinner so that means the lot is full to the point where there's no parking. Another criticism my dad had with this location was that the food was a bit salty. He did get a steak with sides but he complained saying it was all too salty. Also they got my name wrong too when I gave them one when we had to wait be seated so we got lucky I guessed when they called us. And since it can be extremely busy it also can be extremely noisy too which makes it hard to hear and enjoy a fun meal. But in the end, it's a passable location with a great view of the scenery. read more

This was a surprisingly disappointing experience. My friend and I stopped into Texas Roadhouse to watch a playoff game and have a couple beers at the bar. We're both respectful, clean-cut guys, not loud, not disruptive, just sitting and watching football. We had eaten before coming in and weren't planning on ordering food. After our second beer, we were told there's a two-drink limit unless you order food, and a hard cap of three drinks total. There's no posted sign anywhere explaining this. When we asked about the policy, instead of a calm explanation, the manager stepped in and told us another bar might be "a better fit," implying we were making others uncomfortable. That simply wasn't the case. We've been here plenty of times before including the night prior to watch fights and never had an issue ordering drinks without food. When we mentioned that, the response was defensive and felt more like blame-shifting than customer service. We paid our tab and left, but the whole situation felt unnecessary and poorly handled. I expect consistency and basic respect, especially when customers aren't doing anything wrong. read more

We came for dinner because we were staying at the residence inn across the street. I joined their waitlist since they don't take reservations. We waited about 20 min once checked in with the host. The restaurant is cowboy themed, when there is a birthday, the person gets to sit on the saddle while they perform their birthday chant. They had 3 birthday celebrations while we were there. Once we were sat the waiter delivered their fresh soft rolls with honey cinnamon butter, yum! You will also find a bucket of peanuts at your table. I tried their $5 Long Island iced tea. The drink was a little too sweet for me. Our server kindly requested to have the bartender remake my drink less sweet. My drink came back less sweet, I was able to enjoy it! For dinner, my 4 year old ordered their kids steak bites, my 10 year old ordered the kids Andy's steak- hand cut sirloin. My boys both wanted a side of fries with their meal. They both loved their dinner. For my dinner, I ordered their 6oz hand cut sirloin with a baked potato and green beans. I didn't love the green beans as much because I don't like bacon flavoring in mine. All of our steaks were perfectly cooked medium well. Thank you. We had a wonderful dinner and great experience, looking forward to our next time at Texas Roadhouse next time we are in Prescott. read more

The food was great, the servers were very attentive, Even when they made a small mistake in my order, they corrected it promptly and made sure everyone had what they needed. The prices are great as well. I see a few 1 star reviews for this location and feel they are just being extreme. I will tell you that you can expect a little wait on the busy nights but if you call ahead they will put you in the list so you won't wait as long. Great rib eye steak cooked perfectly at medium. Server so polite and helpful to us. I enjoyed sweet potato cooked perfectly with my delicious steak. We went at 6pm and it was packed on a Friday night. Luckily my friend arrived at 530 and had gotten a booth or we would have had to wait in line. There is another steakhouse in Dewey that's our go to but we had a gift card for Texas so here we are. Food was good. Service was friendly and our server checked in often. What I found to be sub par was the clearing of our plates... none. Not one dish or cup taken from the table. We had an appetizer, salad and our meals. We were checked on often to see if everything was good and not once was anything taken away. When I was in my early 20's I was a server and the first thing that was drilled into me is that I should never have empty hands. Always have a dirty plate to take away regardless of whose table it was. In looking at other tables, I don't think we were the only ones. read more

We are usually loyal Texas Roadhouse fans, which made this experience especially disappointing. Unfortunately, our visit fell short due to service issues that were hard to overlook. Our waiter, Brandon, upsold shooters in our drinks with little to no consent, stating "that's just how we serve them," only for us to later see the additional charges on the bill. A similar situation happened with our house salads. He asked if avocado was okay, added it without clarifying there was an extra charge, and again it appeared as an added cost. The lack of transparency felt uncomfortable and unexpected. On top of that, our sweet potato sides never came out and we had to ask about them twice. One person's side, applesauce, never arrived at all and had to be boxed to go. We love Texas Roadhouse and typically have great experiences, but the upselling approach and missing sides really took away from the meal. We hope this feedback helps improve consistency and communication moving forward. read more

One of the best places in Prescott. The service is ALWAYS great. Food is always fresh, love the piping hot rolls and caesar salad, the pork chops are thick, juicy and served with peppercorn sauce they make. The wait is long but the steaks are great, not like a thin steak our rib eye was thick and juicy and very flavorful. We sat at the bar, full dining and our bartenders were so sweet and helpful. First time back in many years. We don't remember the food being so salty and didn't enjoy that aspect of our visit at all. The menu selection is good and the steaks were well prepared but nothing we ate or experienced justifies the prices! It's a rowdy, casual atmosphere that appeals to a denim-and-dusty boots clientele, not the Ruth Chris crowd. The servers were prompt, friendly and fairly accurate--no complaint there. I was humiliated on my birthday by the manager and the server. The manager came to our table and congratulated my daughter in law for coming back to the restaurant, didn't wish me a happy birthday or anything. The server only talked to my daughter in law,ignored me completely, maybe because i was in a wheelchair and old ,im not sure. She didn't ask me for my drink order only everyone else at the table. My 2 sons and my husband who was paying the bill. I ordered a LIT, as did my daughter in law ,then asked if I wanted top label or the 5 dollar one. I ordered the premium,my D.I.Law orderd the 5 dollar one. My drink tasted like it had no alcohol in it. So I ordered another one and she said the 5 dollar was abetter drink and she preferred it over the premium, all the time talking to my D.I law. She also never wished me a happy birthday. Came here for dinner, it was quite busy inside and we figured it would take awhile to get seated, however it was less than 10 minutes. We both ordered iced tea and Berlin got them to us quickly despite having 2 other very large demanding tables also. Not wanting large dinners we ordered a 12 oz prime rib and loaded baked potato and an extra plate. The potato was done great and had lots of stuff on top. The prime rib was good, however it had probably at least 4 oz of fat on the end so really it was only an 8 oz slice. I will say Berlin was fantastic and took very good care of us. The ambiance was typical Roadhouse, loud and the 2 large tables next to us with obnoxious girls didn't help. read more

Got a couple burgers and a Stella in a bottle (wife) and I had a Shiner Bock draft. Beers were good never had a Shiner in draft form - really good! Burgers were good, cooked exactly like ordered! Burgers were good but a little salty (wife's was really salty and tasted different than mine) Really good steak fries (my favorite) over-all a solid 3 Star meal. We had dinner on Monday Nov 3. I had a birthday gift for a starter,side kick. I showed our waitress the email I received. When our bill arrived,we were told we could not use our gift because we ordered off the early bird menu. Yet the birthday gift did not say that in writing. Sirloins, ribeyes and shrimp arrived at our table along with baked sweet potato, mashed potatoes, chicken tenders, and sweet rolls. Each cut of meat was cooked to perfection on how we requested it. This was a night where I can't use the words I would like to. It's was one of those WTF, are you kidding me? nights! Flabbergasted! Dumfounded! We like Texas Roadhouse. . It's great for larger groups. Food consistent and tasty.. Service is usually ok. It's a chain. It's works for what we were looking for for a large group of 8. We were 4 couples, out for Saturday drinks and dinner. We are respectable, 50s to 60-ish, successful, lived in the community 20 -30 years. Run businesses in Prescott. In no way loud or rowdy behavior. No attitudes. Nothing. Just enjoying a night out. Four of us arrived an hour early to have cocktails at the bar. Wives had 1 drink. Husbands had 2 beers or a cocktail in 1 hour's time. . When the others arrived they ordered one beer and we waited a few more minutes to be seated and we guided to our table. When the waiter greeted us, talked about menu etc. One of our companions asked to order another beer. The others were going to going follow suit. Wives were ordering water or a glass of wine. Waiter stopped us in our tracks! HE SAID NO ONE COULD ORDER ANOTHER COCKTAIL UNTIL OUR FOOD WAS DELIVERED!, because we had drinks at the bar. No more than 3 beers or alcohol total allowed for for the entire night! Regardless of how long we had been there, this was not done because anyone was behaving badly or erratically! Understand this.... One gentleman was cut off completely for the night because he had a double at the bar. THAT gentleman was 6' 9" tall 325 lbs. A Big Man! Consumed in an hour . . Another was 6'4" 250 lbs (both fit). The other 2 were average ht & wt. In no way shape or form was anyone even slightly affected. SO. EVERYONE was cut off for 15 mins while waiting for food. Like we were children. This was so far out of line. I cannot emphasis how "not even close to drunk or affected" everyone was. No loud behavior, Nothing! At first we thought it was a joke. My husband asked for the manager and he received the COMPANY POLICY speech. We have eaten there many times before. NEVER came across this bizarre behavior. There was also designated drivers. Hey guys, I was gifted a couple of gift cards to come here for the first time. Wife and I decided to do takeout on Xmas Eve for dinner. SUPER DISAPPOINTED with what we got. Everything was wayyyyyyy too salty. Like, oceans of salt on our fries and burgers. And I can tell it was the cheap bitter table salt they were using in their cooking, so not even a good quality of salt. The only thing that wasn't that bad was the fried onion appetizer we ordered, hence two stars instead of one. We ate about half of it and just couldn't finish.
