We usually get Uber eats delivery from here but decided to dine in this time. We came for late breakfast but the place was packed. Servers are really nice, it just seemed overwhelming between online orders and the people there. There were booths available but I don't think enough staff as we had to wait 5/10 minutes to be seated. My husbands food looked to come out hot but mine was just eh warm. I give it three stars, it's basic breakfast and sometimes you just don't feel like cooking at home. read more

Haven't been here in a long time, but decided to go recently. As expected, everything is exactly as pictured on the menu. No surprises, decent service, food is predictable. Paying for your meal on the app is a bit of a pain in the ass.I wish they would just take your credit card and just run it. Not everybody wants to download an app and do it over the phone. read more

Not much to say. The bristle from the kitchen tools ended up in our food. All our food like the whole brush. Disgusting! This place is always popular on weekends but I will forever be scarred. IHOP please pay attention to the food before it is served. This could have been avoided. read more

Came here to try the Grinch christmas specials since my husband saw the commercials, and was dying to try the green pancakes. He tried the who-ville omelette. He was amazed. It looked just like the picture and tasted amazing. We also had the side order of grinch pancakes which looked and tasted so good. On the sweeter side with the topping, but that was expected. I got the special cream cheese raspberry french toast. Very sweet, but oh so good! It was a nice, clean, big restaurant with plenty of parking We really enjoyed the quality of food here! read more

I was there yesterday, and it was a terrible experience. I walked in with nobody at the desk so I walked in the main area and asked should sit anywhere to a worker. They pointed to the booth closest to the door and said, "sit there". A nice waitress (who I never saw again) came over and took my order of French Toast which was good, but it was served on a tiny plate that makes it hard to cut up and eat. I was given the check and went to the desk to pay. Nobody there again and then 2 workers came over who were apparently fighting. I could feel the tension. There was some spilled cream on the desk and the attached to the desk pen doesn't work but kept there anyway. Good food, really, really bad service! read more

I got takeout here and enjoyed it! The process was pretty easy and very quick ordering and picking up the food. They are practicing good sanitary guidelines during this pandemic/COVID 19. I got the blueberry pancakes and loved it and of course the old fashion buttermilk pancakes are good. I will come back at some point. read more

I really enjoyed Wonka Willy meal. The burgur was reallly yummmmy. My dreamy(not the stream I got confused too) lemonade was sooo refreshing but I didn't really like the cotton candy I don't like red 40 die. My moms liked there choco hover tacos but they didn't hover so Willy wonka lied to us. Overall it was really good but it wasn't as good as the orgasmic chocolate in the movie. Good night read more

This rating is compared to other ihops in this area. This one just recently underwent a renovation and is always crowded, which is a good sign. Sundays are busy but on average is only about a ten minute wait if you come around 10am. We come here for the french toast stacks and pancakes mostly. It's a great substitution when we can't get over to the Cracker Barrel, which is our kids' favorite breakfast spot, but this is a close second. Service was pleasant and parking was pretty easy even on a busy day thanks to extra parking in the back. Table rotation is pretty quick and getting in and out within a reasonable time is what we like about this spot. read more

Each time I have dined at this IHOP, the food has been good and so has the price. The breakfasts are delicious and I recently had a nice piece of tilapia with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The coffee was also good. The empoyees are personable, efficient, professional, polite and helpful. Most recently, I was served by Carolina, Malique and Felix, who were excellent. Each time a customer returns, the managers, and their staff deserve credit! I continue to visit this excellent restaurant! They have the most delicious pancakes that I know of! read more

It's been a long time since I ate at a IHOP. I wish I had found a diner. I ordered The Classic Bowl. Eggs bacon cheese in a bowl with a side of salsa. I opted to add avocado for $1.99 more. I wish I had taken a picture. If you order this, forget the avocado. It's not worth it. The meal was under par. And my side of pancakes were cold. However my husband had the Sampler. He enjoyed it. I would of given iHop three stars if it wasn't for the music. It was so annoying. I don't know what kind of music they piped in. It gave me anxiety. It added to me not enjoying any part of my meal. I feel bad for the staff. They have to listen to that crap throughout their shifts. Day after day. Next time, I will keep going on Rt17. Oh and true to form..., the table was sticky. What happened to sanitizing between customers. The waiter did move us to another table. iHop... I wear my mask. Why aren't you doing your part by cleaning and sanitizing the tables? read more

If walking by customers sitting at a table made money our waitress wouldn't be working at an iHop. Moderately busy - nothing crazy. No sense of urgency with the waitstaff. We waited 5 minutes at the table to be greeted, and waitress walked by 5 times. Finally she acknowledged us saying I will be right with you and went to the register and then walked by again ‍ On the upside the Hostess did tell us right out of the gate the service was going to be crappy, when she said your waitress is just starting so she will be a while. Best part was the shocked look on the waitress' face when we left and I said - you walked by us one too many times. ** Priceless ** Apparently they fail to teach the service as aspect of wait restraint services. BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION !!!!!!! They are playing cheap and actually charge more. Server ABIGAIL agreed to bring all you can eat pancakes for the table and then she charged us for each refill. On each refill I asked them that it is a refill and she said yes. When i asked for the check to be adjusted, manager came out and the server was gone. We did not see her again. Kept on asking to ask the server and she was not there. Ihop is a good place to go, just do not visit Route 17 in Ramsey. These are not good people. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO THERE. I CAN FIND BETTER PLACES TO EAT AND ENJOY. read more

We are visiting relatives in the area and 7 of us went to IHOP. I was pleasantly surprised by the upgraded menu. I had the chicken fried steak and eggs and tres leches pancakes. It was fabulous. Karen was our server and she did not make us wait forever for requests like milk or mustard. She never missed a beat. We all were very happy with the food and super happy with her service. read more

I've dined at this IHOP in Ramsey, NJ several times, it's always hit & miss for me. Either there's something off with the food or service is slacking. Today the food and service were both better than average. Diana H was my server, very pleasant and cheerful. I ordered breakfast (pancakes, bacon & OJ), which was promptly served. Food was hot (as opposed to the usual warm food I received in the past). This was an improved experience over the last few times I've visited this location. worst ihop food i have ever eaten...this place was remodeled recently but I guess they never replaced the cooks and the service was not so great, first thing I noticed when we was seated was that the floor must of not been clean since they reopened, when you stood on it your legs would slide apart...if you are lucky to read this beforehand DO NOT COME TO THIS IHOP WORST EVER My favorite ihop is in the Spring Valley mall best food and the servers are actually happy to help!! read more

3 stars, "A-Okay." Recently renovated, it looks warmer and modern, similar to a Marriott Courtyard. Now take that comment for what it is, it looks like the entrance lobby of that hotel chain. The service has been decent, where you order and you eat then you pay. The only warm greeting I've received is from the manager. It's just another drudge day at work for the wait staff. For a breakfast themed restaurant, I'd like a warm friendly welcome to start my day. The food is like any other IHOP in the chain, and I've ordered through a large swath of the gambit of choices. Consistency for this branch is there. This is a safe bet for an IHOP, where I've been to a few off color ones, and a few shining stars across the country. By 1:10 PM, over an hour after being seated, the full order still hadn't come out. At that point, we had no choice but to ask for it to be wrapped to go, since the rest of us had already finished eating. The most concerning part was the manager's response. After calmly explaining the situation, there was no apology, no attempt to correct the experience, and no effort to take accountability. Saying "I'll talk to your server" and leaving it at that is not an acceptable response to a clear service breakdown. This wasn't just a delay, it was a complete lack of coordination, communication, and basic customer service. Mishandling a gluten-free order and then ignoring the table is unacceptable. The food itself was good, but the way this was handled reflects very poorly on the staff and management. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this location based on this experience.

After they charged me 3.5% for using my credit card (without mentioning it), I stupidly added a 15% tip. And there ya have it. Maybe don't tip if you're being charged a fee for paying the way everyone pays in the 21st century-or just plan to spend too much if you want any food here. That said, food is delicious.
