I came in for breakfast. My server was Angel, and she was wonderful! I was seated right away. The restaurant looks very clean and bright. I didn't use the restroom, so I can't speak to that..... I wasn't that hungry, so angel pointed out the 2X2X2. Two pancakes, two eggs, and two protein. I asked for one bacon and one sausage, and for pumpkin pancakes instead of regular pancakes. She advised me there would be a small "upcharge" for the pumpkin pancakes. That was not a problem, as I knew there would be. The food came very quickly. I could smell the pumpkin pancakes as soon as she set the plate in front of me. The pancakes were very good, after all, this is the name of the restaurant, and I could definitely taste the pumpkin flavor. The eggs were perfectly done. The only minor thing I could say about the entire meal, was that I wish the bacon were crispy instead of soft. I know it's a personal choice, next time I will just ask for crispy bacon. The coffee was very good, and they left a carafe at my table so I could get my own refills. I liked that. Angel periodically came by my table, to make sure that everything was OK. Even though it didn't look like a lot of food, I left stuffed. Also, the price was very reasonable. Oh my goodness!!! This particular IHOP, 3525 Bradshaw Rd., Sacramento, CA 95827 is a hidden gem... I cannot believe it was so empty!! Ambience: precious, inviting, clean, very welcoming staff!!! This place not only has its charm, but check out this image of my food I had it to go. I got the first item on the breakfast menu on the left-hand side of the menu... the very first one where you get two sausages, two strips of bacon, hash, brown, eggs, and ham so I substituted the ham for an additional two sausages!! And then this also includes two big fluffy buttermilk pancakes!! Holy smokes look at this picture. I'm so excited to dig in, but I had to leave this review first!! Smells delicious. Seven dollar weekday early bird special Woop. I got French toast. I know this is the pancake house but my experience is IHOP pancakes suck. I am here to be positive. So my French toast was nice and thick, and that along with the service and price makes this a full five. Eggs done well, I got my hot sauce, sausage wasn't burnt to a crisp, and the French toast had decent flavor. Service is excellent. I will take it, even tho I'm closer to a senior in high school in age. Mentally I'm a senior citizen. I got some takeout today and it was yummy! I ordered the bourbon bacon jam steak burger with onion rings and a full stack of pancakes to satisfy my pancake craving. I ordered on the app which was easy and chose curbside for the pickup. The one issue I did have was when I went to pick it up I didn't notice the very small signs that tell you to go to the right of the front door and front of restaurant if you're there for curbside etc. The signs should be way bigger or just have one big sign with the information, either way we couldn't see it from where we were and had to pull up & get out to see what they said. Other than that I was happy with my food. First picture is the burger on the menu, the second is what I received. My food was cold and there weren't a lot of customers there and we waited a nice amount of time.

I ordered crepes and they were average. I tasted oil when eating them and they were darker than usual. This used to be my favorite IHOP, but i don't think I'll go back there again. I guess the management changed. The waitress was very nice. read more

They accidentally gave me 3 pancakes so I was beyond full. Food was good. 4/5 SERVICE: It took a long time for us to get our order in. This was partially our fault. My sister asked for a table for 8 but 4 people ended not coming. The waitress was waiting for everyone to arrive so she never stopped by our table. Maybe I came on a better day where our server was AMAZING, the coffee and establishment was immaculate!! We've been around the area for years and have always overlooked this diner. I'm glad that we finally gave it a try. Must say this will be our new go to. It was just so perfect. Super easy to order through Yelp/grubhub. I wanted to postpone my order from 12:30 to 2:30 pick up and the person I talked to on the phone at IHOP was so sweet and reassured me I could postpone the order and call when I was on my way (around 2). When I called the same person answered and made sure I was able to pick up all my food exactly as it was ordered even with special instructions! If your family wants to go out to breakfast, this is the right place. Starting off with food, not gonna lie 100000000/10. I'll explain. I got (I think it's called) the American Biscuit? I'm not sure but its a 1B/10, they melted mozzarella on it with turkey bacon, or your choice if you want normal bacon, and your choice of which type of egg you want on it. I recommend the scrambled egg . And it came with a side of hashbrowns, 1T/10, they added so much butter and it was just perfect . The standard pancakes (idk if thats the name) it was plain though, 10/10 they were so buttery and it was just amazing . Service, pretty good. Our waiter was Jessica, she was really kind. On my American Biscuit she asked if I wanted the turkey bacon on the side or in the biscuit, usually waiters don't do that they just pick a random option. Ambiance, amazing. They had the best music and the vibe was just good. Not that much words but yeah, just good. The reason why I did a 4/5 was because the bathrooms were not clean, there was paper towels/napkins all over the floor in there and I just wanted to get out. There was also toilet water everywhere. On July 9(h my friends went to this restaurant and were gravely disappointed. They ordered pancake plate and waffle plate. They we're looking forward to their meal and when it came what a disappointment!!! It took well over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. None of the staff seamed to have a care in the world. I guess it's status quo to make people wait forever. First of all, from reading some of the other reviews it's obvious some people simply just use Yelp to complain, not actually provide useful information about their experiences. And one mistake on one visit gets a 1 star? Really? Okay, rant over. I've enjoyed breakfast, lunch and now dinner at this IHOP location and tonight I felt compelled to write a 5 star review. The main reason being Holly. Holly was amazing from the greeting to the "come back and see us"...well, definitely will be returning to try more of the menu options. The menu has changed and Holly was really helpful in that regard. She checked to ensure everything was fine regularly and with a smile! :) Did I mention excellent friendly communication as well. IHOP is lucky to have her! The food was fresh and generous! IHOP does have the best pancakes! The 80s music was a nice touch as well. My daughter and I came to IHOP for breakfast. I ordered the 2c2x2. All bacon, eggs over easy. My daughter ordered the bacon omelet with hash browns. Well the hash browns were burnt. The butter didn't melt on the pancakes. I asked the waitress for another order of pancakes were the butter will melt. Took 5 minutes to get my pancakes and the waitress said. "I brought you melted butter" Why would I need melted butter if the pancakes are hot? I was hungry so I poured the butter, then the syrup and then the pancakes turned to mush. The waiter, a tall middle-aged man, who was taking our orders kept making these weird comments despite there only being three tables (including our table) in total of people. We thought he was just being funny so we ordered everything almost immediately, and we waited for our food. Come time for our food, we received: -Three cool burgers that we asked for them to not put cheese on and set the bacon to the side (and they put both bacon and cheeses on the burgers anyways). -Cold onion rings and fries. -A lukewarm waffle and only one bacon with cool eggs (as is was supposed to come with multiple pieces of bacon) -Two plates of plain pancakes (and what we actually ordered was plate of the winter wonderland pancakes from the kid's menu and then a plate of the mexican tres leches pancakes) When we were telling the waiter that a number of our things were wrong and nothing came hot, he kept making these half-joke complaints about how hard it is to be a waiter and such and he kept cutting us off with random comments. I never leave negative reviews any where because I personally do not have the time to go out of my way. However, today is different. I ordered online and spent 52$, I looked all over for extra hollandaise sauce and could not find any. I get to the restaurant and politely ask the manager whose initials are VG if I could please have some extra hollandaise sauce because I did not see that option online. He gave me a weird look in which I was fully expecting to pay for the sauce, but he decided he wasn't going to and went and grabbed the sauce. I decided to look through my bag out of habit because things can be missed. As the manager is walking back I simply ask for utensils. Rather than just handing me the utensils, he goes "you know next time don't click no condiments because we won't give them to you, it's California law." He's right! Restaurants are not supposed to give you utensils unless you ask. What did I do? I asked. Whether or not I asked on the app like he would have wanted. I still asked. How does he know that something didn't come up last minute in which I all of a sudden needed my utensils. I was going to ask for ketchup too but he created a hostile environment in which I didn't feel comfortable. I literally went to Jack in the box for ketchup. While other people may have had good experiences, mine was truthfully infuriating. I can't believe I spent 52$ to be given a hard time about how or where I ask for utensils. read more

WORSE IHOP EVER!!! Customer service does not exist. I ordered curbside, arrived and no one came to deliver food. So I called # and waited, waited , waited......still nothing but boring hold music. So, Went inside, workers passed by the counter as if I'm invisible. I finally had to shout to a passing worker for help. She then walked away ( did not say anything " let me get someone" or "one moment" .... nothing), just a blank stare as if I interrupted her work day!!
