Some of the West Coast Women's Tour players
Linda M.

One of my favorite pool rooms in the world. (of the ones I've played in) Probably holds the top spot since the unfortunate demise of Hollywood Billiards in San Francisco. I really adore the back room, where they have bleachers so you can watch the matches. Some of the seats are showing wear, but the important stuff, the tables, are beautifully maintained and play true. They support the West Coast Women's Tour, and give us enough tables to keep it rolling nicely. I love the memorabelia for the old school players. The staff is great, and the food is good.

Jody the cook made my boyfriend and I a burger and asada fries and they both were SOOOO good asffff.

Single cheeseburger with a mountain of fries. Simple but fresh and delicious.

I saw someone online recommend this place for a good burger in Sacramento so my buddy and I decided to check them out the other day. We both got their cheeseburger with fries and beer combo. The burger was simple and a little on the smaller side but still tasted great. They also give you a mountain of fries which was nice considering most places skimp out on the fries. The service and ambiance were both great as well. It's a no thrills pool hall with plenty of billiards tables available. My only complaints were two. First, they only offered bottled beers with the combo instead of draft and their draft options were lackluster. Second, it felt like there wasn't an AC system and I didn't notice any fans inside so it got warm and musty pretty quick while playing pool. Overall, however, I really enjoyed the place. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying other options like their breakfast burritos and quesadillas which looked really good.

This place has a lot of history... in some ways, it's like walking through a pool museum. Pictures, memorabilia and old brackets from the golden age of pool adorn the walls - names like Ronnie Allen, Terry Bell and Jimmy Mattaya dust off the memories. It's a good vibe, friendly people, friendly staff. They open earlier than most pool halls and serve breakfast. This morning, I tried a breakfast burrito for the first time and it was great! They offer them with sausage, bacon or hot links. I chose the hot link version and it didn't disappoint! The pool tables are kept in good condition - they're a mixture of Brunswick, Diamond and Rasson brands. They also have a couple carom tables if that's your thing... one of the few places in town with those.

Renovated about 3 years ago, breathed in some new life into one of my favorite pool halls. Trained & practiced lot here with Sac State's Pool Club in the past. If you're looking for some action that's not as far as Hard Times in Carmichael, this is your spot. Food is still just as fire, burger is a must have if it's your first time. I don't know why it's so good here it's a sleeper spot for sure! - $12/hr solo , $17/hr 2 or more players - $120 Monthly Memberships for Unlimited Play / Practice ($75 after the 15th of the month) - Back Tournament Room Friendly - I believe 9ft tables - 2 Private Bathrooms Friendly staff, will take care of you nice and quick. Good service at the bar.

Carne Asada fries with a side of Buffalo Sauce

The food here is delicious and great quality! I frequently order the carne asada fries during my lunch times. The fries are always hot and crisp with fresh meat and toppings made to order right in front of you. The service is always great and you can expect a great experience when the billiard tables are full and everyone is enjoying the atmosphere.

Looking for something to do after the car show we ended up at this place. From the outside it's deceivingly small but when you enter it's a big space. I'd say about 10-12 tables, not all pool tables some were the ones with no pockets (I was tryna learn the game and forgot the name) Anyways ladies play free on Wednesday's so we definitely stayed for a game. Had we not just eaten, there were some yummy smells coming from their grill and it looked like a popular place to grab dinner for locals. 10/10 would return

The service and the food here was amazing! I ordered a cheeseburger with tater tots and a soda. They literally are the best burgers in town. They burger was so good that I forgot to take a picture before I ate and I had to order a second burger right away. The staff was really friendly and the chef was really sweet. Will be back again for more!

Pool hall and golf course food are tasty for those who are not familiar. I have not been here since it changed ownership. I had the hamburger and was just as good as before. I does not look like much but it is delicious. Soft sesame seed bun and good quality ground beef. This is a pool hall, nice tables and have back room for tournaments.

Double bacon cheeseburger

I last played pool here about 30 years ago, but I came in on this visit to try the burger. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger regular fries and a water. It came as meal deal costing $18 dollars and change. The burger did not look particularly big or amazing, but it was very good. The bacon was thick and tasty, it resembled the bacon that you get wrapped up from a meat counter in a grocery store. The burgers were average size, but the cheese melt was exceptional, and the burger was very juicy and delicious. The fries were shoestring and I ate them all. They had a nice beer selection, but I came for lunch and it was too early for me to drink.

Obviously I came back here to get one of their delicious burgers!!! this time Robert was working after me and my sister ordered our burgers and fries we watched Robert cooking something on the grill it looked good, I asked him what he was making and he said a tuna melt i haven't had a tuna melt in years so we decided to order one, I'm so glad we did, it was cooked to absolute perfection the bread was crispy and the cheddar cheese gave it that perfect tuna melt taste loved every bite!!!!

At the end, we ended up seating outside and all the time wasted could have been to help other people. Our server was friendly, but since we were outside she would take awhile to come outside. The meatloaf was a big plate and my husband could not finish it. He did say it was a bit salty. The shrimp and grits were great (would recommend). My son's chicken tenders were great as well and looked homemade and not like it came from a frozen bag. There is paid parking around the area. We were seated outside which was lovely, especially given the weather and the slight breeze. I appreciate that they offer an option for reservations. Many brunch places do not do those nowadays, which I hate. Every brunch requires a coffee. I appreciate that they do lattes here, rather than just hot or iced coffees. They had some unique syrups, such as bourbon caramel and praline. The syrups were on the more subtle side, which some people prefer. I am not one of those people, but it was a good latte for a breakfast/ brunch spot. I wish there was more ice tho.  The skillet cornbread with sharp cheddar, creamed corn & garlic, honey butter & house made seasonal jam on the side was a great starter dish. I enjoyed the garlic and cheese. The temperature/ toastiness of this was yummy.  We couldn't decide between the cornbread and the sticky bun, so the only obvious solution was to order both. The topping of the sticky bun was delicious. It was almost pecan pie adjacent.

My wife got a chai latte, cold, and I ordered the hot chocolate and a danish. I won't "rage" about a basic hot chocolate, but..... Unlike other coffee shops, chain or otherwise, this had an actual good balance of burning hot, yet creamy and chocolatey. If your inner child kicks in, definitely try their hot cocoa. The danish was good....light and airy pastry, and the fruit in the middle was tart. They also have specials which are actual full meals, but unable to comment on those. For a hot drink and pastry, though... definitely recommend

I ordered a Guinness and we moved to the back area as our group grew too large to have at the small front tables. They have breakfast and lunch available and had an impressive menu for what I thought was just a bar. We asked our server what she recommended and she said the waffle fries and French toast are great. While we passed on the French Toast (this time- I'm more of a savory breakfast person) we did get waffle fries ($7) and their Zebra Special ($15.50) that comes with two eggs, meat (ham, bacon or sausage), hash browns, and choice of toast. We paid a little extra to get a biscuit with gravy instead of toast. We also ordered jello shots for the group and it was very fun having morning jello shots with breakfast. They have a lot of televisions here and seem to serve as a watch party destination for a lot of sports fans. They also have an outdoor area, which is great for groups, but we also noticed that the small of people smoking wafted into the inner dining area from outside which was a drawback for me. The staff here was so nice and attentive and we had so much fun with our group here. Would highly recommend checking them out.
