Obviously you don't come to ihop for the amazing service but we literally waited 30 minutes for our waitress to come get our check. She did not check on us after we got our food and we called her over several times and she ignored us. Probably will be ordering pickup next time. Service was phenomenal. I worked in food service at IHOP many years ago and for a long time have not seen the kind of service I got today. We're from out of town. Misty had immediate attention to the door, meet and greet. Daniel's service to us was excellent. Other services checked in if we needed anything, but Daniel had it all handled. I had hoped for a better experience. The service was slow to non existent and the servers were typically huddled together instead of serving. The wait to be seated took upward of 20min with a rather empty restaurant. While waiting in the lobby the floor boards were missing the floors were visibly gross and the benches were falling apart, probably should have warned us then. The new menu options of omelettes look good but honestly we came for the pancakes. The variety of stacks available is nice but even a plain stack can't go wrong with a variety of syrups available if you ask, which are also now for syrup free. They have gf options but I'm not entirely sure they actually arrived gf. So not an allergy friendly option. They have large booths for larger parties or to give your Littles the inside of the booth with their crayons and kids menu. The kids menu options are typically covered in sugar. You can take the kids cups to go but the food isn't necessarily worth saving. Feeding a family breakfast is about $65+tip * only ended up here because the original pancake house was closed with new hours. read more

I paid $85 to have a surly hostess pass me off to a weeping hostess who directed me to my waiter, 'Imnotsupposedtobehereitsmydayoff', who served over-cooked chicken strips to my very hungry 10yo grandson 15 minutes after he served the rest of the table. In these times of struggle, it's hard to leave a bad review for any place serving food and dealing with humanity, but the criticism is directed at the corporation for not alleviating the struggles of their staff more proactively (as made evident by their chronic staffing issues; this is the 3rd time I've witnessed staff in this state at this restaurant). Surely a successful corporation should be able to raise wages and provide the perqs that enable hiring and maintaining adequate staff that the average Mom-and-Pop operation simply cannot? Though definitely busy, it was a fairly average mid-week lunch rush and there were at least 5 dining room staff. If they were as overwhelmed by the work - as they were making known to everyone I witnessed them speaking to - it MUST be pick up orders; whatever it was, the entire restaurant was suffering for their failure to staff for it. I am sincerely tired of being told by corporations like yours that I am required to subsidize your employee's basic needs, in addition to paying for my meal...in fact, if I can't afford to do so, I need to reconsider whether I can afford the luxury of eating out, at all. If you cannot squeeze enough profit from an $85 price tag for pancakes for 4 to provide your staff a living wage and humane benefits, maybe you can't afford the luxury of doing business, at all? On the days when everything was frozen over and shops were closed IHOP was open my daughter and I went in to have breakfast with them and we had a delicious breakfast on French toast, strawberries and whip cream a nice hot cup of coffee that was simply delicious and by the way, my daughter does not drink coffee but she had some that morning because it looked good in my cup and it taste delicious And we had the nicest waitress. She really helped us to decide our menu to have a really pleasant experience. I mean the roads were frozen over the parking lot was just as bad we had to drive around until we found a decent place for me to be able to get out and walk without hurting myself so to go inside and to find a really fabulous waitress was amazing she was really tall by the way guys has a beautiful smile and she knows her menu you're gonna love my recommendation. When eating fish, it should not have the texture of eating over-easy eggs and the rice pilaf shouldn't be crunchy. The broccoli wasn't bad, after you season it yourself. Maybe their cook is new, maybe their cook is lazy, maybe their cook is high, that's not the reason we will never go back. The reason we will never go back is because after you complain about the food and clearly don't eat it, for them to charge us full price for the meal was a move that only a badly managed restaurant will make. Probably the last visit I will make to this location let me explain why. 1st- after being seated I watched the waitress seat two other tables she never returned to my table to take my order I set my timer and 15 minutes later after taking orders for the other two tables I had to ask the hostess to get someone to take my order strike one 2nd- I ordered eggs benedict the hollandaise sauce tasted like it came out of a can and my hash browns were cold I was willing to let that go 3rd- one order was the breakfast sampler and there was hair in the scrambled eggs freaking gross 4th- my grandson ordered the children's pancakes and that plate cost $9.99 really for a kids meal? 5th. Why my waitress was more than willing to check on everybody at every table around me never once did she come and ask me how my meal was or if I needed anything else So due to the lack of communication I simply wrote on the receipt that IHOP keeps that there was hair in the eggs I didn't bother to complain about the rest because I was sure it wouldn't do any good anyway. I'm 63 and they had a deal going that if I bought a full price meal as well as two other entrees which I did buy I would receive a senior discount Not only was just not applied to my bill but apparently the waitress didn't understand when I told her what I wanted. So consequently there was no tip left do to the complete lack of service and the waitresses inability to understand the simplest of request. After taking my money she returned and said "oh I'm sorry about the eggs,would you like another order"? No what you should have done was compensate me for the price of that meal! Was there on 11/25/2021 for a quick lunch since my normal place was closed for Thanksgiving. There was a long wait to get seated, though I can overlook that due to current COVID mandates and such. However during my 30 min wait, I saw multiple staff coming out front of the restaurant to smoke, instead of out back like is normal for the industry. After being seated, I soon after ordered a drink (hot tea) and my food. I was brought the wrong tea, but hey, I like most tea, so no biggie. My food came in a reasonable amount of time, however upon receiving it, it was already lukewarm, verging on Cold. (Breakfast sampler, so it should all be hot). Again, I try and be patient, I know COVID is still making things hard. However what bothered me most was the staff constantly talking among themselves, at full volume where everyone could hear them, about how insufferable other coworkers were, or how badly that table tipped, how bad they needed to go out for a smoke, etc. Going to a large chain restaurant, especially one I've been to several time before, I don't expect much above the bare minimum, but this was an uncomfortable experience, even for a bloated chain establishment. read more

Where's the Manager? I visited this restaurant twice this week while having my car worked on at Tire Experts next door. Both times were very disappointing as far as the service goes. The food wasn't too bad for eggs and bacon (how hard is that?) My first visit on Monday I was there for two hours and watched a "comedy of errors". Servers were a group of inexperienced, barely trained 20 year olds. On top of that, I was charged 2 x's on my debit card for the same breakfast. Today, on my second visit they were barely busy but I sill had to wait 14 minutes before anyone asked if I wanted coffee or juice. No silverware when my breakfast arrived (why not I ask?) A kind of "I don't care" attitude seems to be the common thread among the employees. Kids eat free here but don't bother with this place if you have a choice. You'll be disappointed I guarantee it. Never saw a Manager once on either visit. Who's running this place anyway? LOL I w rote a comment on my receipt "more training is needed" and today I wrote "where is the manager". Our server was Great!! The " I'm in charge now I'll get this straightened out lady" has no people skills at all. I found out her name is Tina! There we're 6 couples waiting. There we're 8 EMPTY CLEANED TABLES!!! But according to her you don't seat people without silverware Really news to me and I am from a restaurant family! What the hell happened to menus, water, and your server will be with you shortly! Then you bring silverware, more coffee or water, take order. The EMPTY silverware tub should have been kept behind counter with a person wrapping and filling it up and one filled up for backup. Ordered and then told out of Avocados Wow !! Ordered curbside pick up was there a couple minutes early, checked in and it took awhile for them to bring the food out. Food was barely warm and seems like it had been ready for awhile . I came here with family on 5/12/18 in the evening. There was only 2 servers working and 1 occupied table besides us in the restaurant. We got seated in the back with no drink order and was left and forgot about by our server. Both servers was talking and laughing and forgot we was seated in the back until I looked over at them and they cought me looking at them. Our server then came over to take our drink order and our food order at the same time. Service was fine after that. Food was fast, hot, and good. The reason for only 3 stars for this review was because a customer should never be forgotten, especially when there is only 2 tables in the entire restaurant. read more
