Its a quiet Tuesday morning. Music is playing at a nice sound level where conversation can still happen. I got the Big Steak omelet with pancakes. He got the Breakfast sampler with 2 of everything. Service was decent. I think our server may have been new because my order was not what I asked for but it was still good and he seemed a little stressed. Bacon was crisp and the cheesecake pancakes would have tasted better without so much strawberry syrup. It was clean and the noise level was perfect for brunch. I placed an order for pick up at 10:33am. The order said it'd be ready by 10:49. We walked in at 10:51 and the waitress stated it'd only be a couple more minutes. Every time I come in here Eli always has the place decorated and it brings everyone so much joy. She does an amazing job. No matter the holiday it always looks nice. My kids love coming here. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because one of the staff members who was putting away just cleaned silverware was sniffling and wiping her nose with the back of her hand while handling the silverware. We had breakfast here today. Don't remember our server's name but she was a young lady. She greeted us soon as she had the chance and from our order to the end was a great experience. She made sure we were doing alright during our meal. We paid and had left the tip on the table. A worker wearing red asked if she could take the plates away that were empty. We were still eating but were fine for the empties to go. Then she asked if we wanted her to give the cash tip to our server. We felt uncomfortable with that. We personally wanted to give it to our server. We never has anyone do that while we were dining. I hope that our for her tip that she deserved.
