I was pleasantly surprised with our visit to the Wilsonville IHOP this past Sunday, right around noon. We knew coming in that we chose a busy time to stop in, but it was obvious the restaurant was understaffed, as they had full sections of tables that were completely empty, despite the constant line-up in the waiting area. While this did make for a longer wait than normal for everything, it was definitely not the fault of the servers -- they were hustling the best they could. I opted for the "Split Decision", which seemed like one of the better values on the menu -- two pancakes, one piece of thick French toast, two eggs, two pieces of bacon, and two sausages. It was definitely a lot of food, but the best part is that it was also very tasty. I would definitely not hesitate to come back to this particular IHOP location. read more

Usually I would give this location 3. The pancakes and chicken fingers are good; the burgers are adequate, and the service is tolerable. However, my experience tonight was, in a single word, PATHETIC! I had a rough day with Doordash - lots of deliveries with no tips (either thanks to our glorious economy or people saving for beer, fireworks, or both). I ordered a Coke Zero (I swear I said Pepsi Zero), water, and a burger that came with onion rings and barbecue sauce - no tomato. The server said they had Pepsi products and I that Pepsi Zero was fine. Then he questioned if I wanted water and totally forgot what I ordered. ‍ The food was slow coming out - I think the server who I like was the cook. That gave me plenty of time to observe. There was a grand total of four tables. Every table was frustrated by the waiter. He was overwhelmed (he said it was his first night working solo). He didn't have the "deer in the headlights" look, his eyes were more glazed over than a Krispy Kreme don't! My burger was adequate - I doubt if there was a teaspoon of barbecue sauce on it. Because of my lousy day, I decided to order an ice cream sundae. He asked what flavor - which was weird. I said chocolate. After a long wait, he said that my milkshake would be coming right up. I told him that I ordered a sundae. Another table could barely contain their gasps and laughs. I finally get my bill. Instead of taking off the milkshake (which was more expensive) and replacing it with the sundae, he left it be and was offering to comp me anything on the menu. I refused - I wanted out of there. I told him that he needed to do a better job of listening to the customer orders. I probably will walk out of the restaurant if I go back and he is working. I am tolerant of servers - they don't have an easy job. But this guy probably won't last long there because he is that bad. read more

Good free parking lot but not crowded. Great service and staff. The atmosphere is average. Good food, moderate prices. Good pancakes, eggs over easy cookedto perfection, sausage, and multigrain toast. We were treated extremely well by the staff and manager. They actually cared about our experience, that seldom happens anymore. Good family experience was had. read more

Great IHOP experience | good service I haven't been to an IHOP in a long time, but coming here brought back that IHOP experience I remembered. It was my kid's first time going to an IHOP too! She LOVED the pancakes. Brand new location. Great service. Lizzy was our waitress. She was friendly and took care of us. I think we also met the owner or manager of this location who was also friendly and thanked us for coming. We ordered: - Egg white veggie omelette with a side of fresh fruit - blueberry pancake combo - cinnamon stack pancakes I loved that the fresh fruit was fresh and sweet! I mean, they even had pineapple and strawberries that were perfectly ripe. Presentation was great and I really liked the tomatoes with this dish. My kid loves their pancakes and the syrup with her order. In her words, "they have the best pancakes!" If my kid is happy, I'm happy. I think what would be neat is having marionberry pancakes just because it's unique to Oregon :) Located in a good area with lots of parking in the lot. No wait time. Clean and new. so first things first we are from out of town traveling and staying locally in the area for an event we attend yearly. we stopped in and thankfully the waitress was friendly, so service was good on that side for the most part. my issue is with the food. if you need a diet drink and can't have pepsi zero, don't come here. that's the only diet option, not much selection for hot teas, after saying i can't do a lot of pure sugar and saying it's too early for a milkshake the only other thing that sounded tasty, got suggested a milk shake. person stated it's never too early for milkshake but i knew with having pancakes i would get a lot of sugar with the syrup so i didn't entertain the milkshake. i ordered a breakfast sampler, eggs were gross, i asked for cheese on them thinking it'll be a shredded cheese like it is at any other dinner styled restaurant, it's just craft singles put on top. sausage is spicy, ham was hard and chewy, bacon so crispy it broke when i picked it up and was painful to chew. for me not worth the 20$ for that meal. my significant other got a breakfast burrito, he said it was meh not good but not bad either. pancakes were the only thing was was decent. maple syrup was good, don't have the strawberry or blueberry syrup it's either weird flavor or too artificial and gummy. we won't go back and next time will just go to dennys or some other restaurant. read more

It's an IHOP. What can you really say? The food is exactly what one would expect from this chain - Nothing really outstanding and nothing to complain about taste-wise. I literally come to this location twice a year to have breakfast while waiting for my Subaru to be serviced nearby. The two times I've eaten here the place was pretty empty. Jaxson is sweet and accommodating, but probably still learning the ropes. I'm glad American economy hasn't broken him yet. He and the cook seem to be the only people here, serving a birthday party of four, a small family who left soon after we sat, and an older gentleman and his mother who left as we got our meals. It has been one hour and five minutes since we arrived. Fifty minutes since we've been seated. Thirty five minutes since we ordered a tea, a water, Impossible Sausage Combo, and Poblano Eggs Benedict (no egg, sub ham, crispy hash browns). Wife has taken glasses off and laid her head down to sleep at the table. Music isn't too loud, at least. Floors could be swept... One hour and thirteen minutes later, after several mentions of leaving without eating, we have our food. Tea served without requested cream. Water not served. Poblano Eggs Benedict wholly underwhelmingly prepared, which Jaxson mentioned the cook was confused by but didn't bother asking for clarification: I asked for Poblano Beef Eggs Benedict, no egg, sub ham next to crispy hash browns-- not an English muffin with folded ham drizzled with spicy sauce next to undercooked hash browns. We got there at 12:30pm on 1-29-2025. . Only two other diners in the place. Seated by the hostess quickly and given minus. It took forever for the server to come by. Servers name started with a T . She Asked if we wanted anything to drink, then took forever for her to bring us water. When she did finally come by to take our order, she just had a bit of an attitude. Not hostile, just cold and stand offish. Not something you expect from someone working as a server in a restaurant. Food came.. was just OK...as expected. It took forever again for her to come by to check on us. We had been done almost 10 minutes when she finally came by. She said nothing when she got to our table, only stood there with her hand out. No smile, silent. This was confusing me, and then I finally realized she wanted me to hand her my empty plate. Wilsonville has a great new restaurant to enjoy. It's located where Biscuits used to be. Beautifully decorated inside with comfortable seating . Generous tasty portions at very competitive prices. Right now you can get numerous Breakfast House Faves for $7 which is complete breakfasts M-F 7am to 10pm. They also have a kids and senior 55+ menus. Lunch and dinner also available. The staff is very friendly with quick and professional service. Another good thing is they are open late until 12 midnight on the weekends. Open 6am -10pm week days. read more

This is my first negative review of any establishment ever. I greeted the hostess and asked about her day and then inquired if any of the amazing employees of the prior business were retained by Ihop. The disinterested, bored hostess simply said No, then proceeded to seat me. She led me to sit in a row bench in between 2 large groups. The restaurant was almost empty, so I requested the open booth that was next to me. Simple request, normally approved 100% of the time. Reluctantly, after a sigh, she nodded. Then she wanted me to sit on a certain side "because of the sun". Nobody has ever told me which side of a booth to sit on in my life, except maybe my mom when I was a kid. I politely asked to sit on the side that faces the door and the front. The sun, high in the sky, wasn't a factor. Finally, she said, "I don't care where you sit!". WHAT? OK.... Then she immediately went to the kitchen area and spoke to the waitstaff, and they collectively looked in my direction. UH, OH.... Apparently, she instructed the staff to ghost me, as no one approached me for my order for the entire 17 minutes that I was there. Again, they weren't busy at all, maybe 15% occupied. 4 wait staff. After 10 minutes I was given water by a nice woman, who told me my waitress would be by shortly. The waitress she referred to walked by me at least 4 times, never acknowledging me once. 7 minutes later, I walked out and told the hostess to have a nice day. We've lived in Wilsonville for 32 years and eat out often. Always have had a good experience everywhere we've dined. For a new restaurant in a thriving community, one would expect it to be teeming with customers. Instead, it's dead. We will not be back, ever. Anyway, I went to Black Bear Diner, was seated and helped right away. Had my food within 5 minutes, with a smile!. Delicious! Oh, since I've been here at BBD, they've gathered waitstaff together twice to sing happy birthday to 2 different parties. It's a WAY different atmosphere. read more

I have never had a great experience at i hop in the past. Today for breakfast Jake was my server and I'd give him a 5 stars. Cleanliness, attentive after my food got to the table , and left a check so I did not have to wait at the end for him to get it to me. Food was good( his suggestion). Definitely recommend I Hop in Wilsonville, and I NEVER take time to post reviews. Go see Jake for breakfast, you won't regret it. read more

We have been waiting and waiting for this IHOP to open, since we have lost both Biscuits and Shari's. We are sooo disappointed! The noise level (all hard surfaces) is stressful: kitchen noise, voices, annoying music, dish clatter, etc. The wait staff is unfriendly and seems unhappy to be working here. This place is the definition of "that job don't give a fuck about you" poor management, hostile work environment. They pick their favorites and treat everyone else like shit. And tips go onto your check every 2 weeks and from what I heard they can't get payroll right to save a life. So congrats on another failing restaurant. read more

The front of house makes you feel really unwelcome, and have really bad snarky attitudes. The second you walk in the person who greets you doesn't smile, she looks almost mad to be working. I also had new silverware that had peanut butter on it ( HUGE RED FLAG FOR SOMEONE WHO HAS PEANUT ALLERGIES) and when i asked to switch it out the girl seemed annoyed. By the time they brought the food to us it was cold and nasty. Our server took too long to get our check to us and to cash us out. The ambiance was okay. couldn't believe how one manager was belittling, being disrespectful and saying things to one of the server. Not to mention also being nasty towards the hostess as well. For a manager to do that to your employees is literally utterly nasty, disrespectful, unprofessional and rude. No one should ever be treated like that by any manager. I will not go back to the restaurant. What needs to improve is teaching your manager how to respect your fellow employees read more

we had a terrible experience ordered egg white omelette small but good the steack omelette was horible steak rock hard solid we ordered two salads they came on warm plates so the lettuce was melted on the bottom asked for salsa got the tiny cup it was not homemade we miss fresh products from prior location owners a cook came in the dining room with a cook jacket full of stains that should not be allowed did not make us feel good about our food we just ate overall told them they need a lot of work staff do not know ingredients on menu cannot depend on a tablet they need to know the ingredients told them we will give three months before we would consider going back as they try to get bettet Hope they can make it will give them another shot in three months read more
