This place is busy, but still able to serve a bunch of folks. Shout out to Lucy our server. She was friendly and attentive. The meal options are standard and basically good. Recommend any item you order an entree with a sauce or syrup, ask them to separate it from the entree. They tend to drown the entree. Definitely a family friendly restaurant and appreciate their honoring of military members.

Bad. Bad, bad. Horrible experience. Came in, was seated immediately, and waitress attended immediately. Informed waitress we needed more time to review the menu. She didn't come back until 15 minutes after in which she finally took our order. Ordered grilled salmon and jalopeno burger with chocolate chip pancakes. We received regular pancakes (no chocolate chip), with chocolate syrup. We tried giving waitress benefit if the doubt thinking maybe she misheard us. Once we got the food, the salmon wasn't grilled. It was fried and overcooked; burnt actually. Garlic bread was also burnt. Paid $17.99 for a burnt piece of salmon which was embarrassing. Afterwards, we tried to get our waitress attention to ask for the check. That itself took about 5-7 mins due to her prepping other tables while having a personal convo with her coworker. I personally don't mind the side convos, but at least pay attention to your customers since you're in the hospitality business. Due to lack of customer service skills and lack of food quality, 1 star review. Customer service is a huge area of opportunity. Will be informing management about that and food quality as both caused a negative experience. Ambiance itself wasn't enough to save this experience (and their ambiance was the only best thing about this visit...)

The pancakes were not even cooked it was still dough, the fries look 50% cooked they are still white, the service is slow the guy forgot our order, the orange juice had a small piece of mold ,the eggs taste like soap, my patience is up I don't recommend this place, first and last time 1 star I was really exited i got so disappointed when I saw my small burger I ate it with 2 bites

We went really late at night, a good amount of people families and older people and were seated right away. Our server was really nice and attentive. The food came out hot. We didn't feel rushed and we sat and talked for a while. I'll update with better pics when I take another visit.

I came here late at night, so it was understandable how there was only 1 server. However, he barely paid attention to us. Keep in mind that there were only 2 other tables. He had his headphones on, and prioritized other customers. I am not sure if it was about racism, but my family and I did not feel welcomed. It was hard to get refills or anything. I could also see him sitting and using his phone. Terrible service. Besides that, the food was average, typical ihop quality. It was hard to enjoy with little water to drink. If you get a milkshake here, make sure it's for dine in. If you get take out shakes, they will be in small kids cup.

It's official I hate all IHOP's..... never a good experience. I am WAITING at the Smoketown Rd. location in Prince William County. Curb side..... nothing even after almost 10 minutes over the time for my order was supposed to be ready. I went inside ..... nothing and no one. If I didn't think I would get charged I would just leave and go to Silver Diner or Fudruckers. Just called and no one answered. Over 15 minutes from the time THEY/IHOP said my order would be ready. WE LEFT

    Im here for some pancakes!

We chose to sit at the bar, as we saw a large party hosting a baby shower and opted for the empty bar area instead. The bar tender offered a taste of the day or something like that which I opted for a gin cocktail, refreshing and light. We opted for the burger which was delish and came with fries (not a fan of the fries). But go here! There is a sitting area with a fireplace and the decor is just cozy and easy going... I don't have pics - we were living in the moment... We plan on going back with our husbands because it has such a chill vibe! Here's looking at you kid - Bourbon & Fig you did that

My friend and I went to celebrate her 80th birthday and I wanted everything to be so beautiful--and delicious--for her day. Bourbon & Fig fit the bill and exceeded my expectations. She noticed the rose on the table, the cover on the dainty sugar bowl, the steak knife resting on the edge of the blade (!), the pillow on the bench seating to separate us from the lovely couple next door, and the thistle on the wallpaper. I could go on, but I wouldn't have room for the food review! She practically swooned for the strawberry burrata salad. We both laughed at the "dirty" mashed potato (she thought it looked like a pine cone on the plate!), and artfully placed asparagus. We both had the filet mignon which was done just right for her--mine was ordered rare and didn't meet my standard: bleeding all over the plate but it was OK. Dessert was a dish of vanilla gelato with a sparkler for her and mine was--aaah, a chocolate dome--heaven. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Jackie, our server. A font of information about the restaurant, its origins, its owners, the food. She made our dinner such a wonderful experience. My friend has already made plans to lunch with her friends there! On another note: the support staff for the servers are mostly young people and we noted that they are receiving an outstanding education in the fine art of serving, clearing, and being unobtrusive. They are receiving an A-1 experience in the fine art of owning a topnotch restaurant. From beginning to end, thank you for making my friend's birthday one she thoroughly enjoyed. I'm SO glad we went. Reservations are going to be a must here, and better make them well ahead of time if you want them for a special occasion. Thank you, Bourbon & Fig for a spectacular dinner.

We arrived to the restaurant received a text our table was ready. We walked to the hostess station and were told, sorry, she is looking for a table for you. Then why the text? We ordered our food, the salmon Benedict's were below par in my opinion. There was not much salmon on there at all. One egg was hard boiled the other was soft boiled. They had no taste. It said it came with a side of greens instead I received a bunch of over salted cubed potatoes. They were cooked the way I like them crispy and golden brown. The coffee tasted burnt. The side biscuits we ordered were really good. Flaky on the outside and warm and fluffy inside. Two people in my party ordered a bowl, right now I just remember it had beans, red sauce and tortillas. The comments were, soggy tortillas and no taste. The other person ordered the biscuits and gravy. She said the texture of the gravy was like jello. Our waitress Helen did not check on us, had she checked on us she would have noticed we did not get our order of French toast we had also asked for. When she finally did bring the bill that's when we asked for more water, for her to remove the French toast and for a to go box. The restaurant is really packed in tight. The front waiting area to all the back to the seating. You're sitting on top of each other and it's very loud. They do have a QR code you can use to look at the menu items and pay your bill. I scanned the QR code to pay the bill and it was already figured in at 20% tip. 18, 20 and 30. The parking lot is hard to get around with all the cars and people. I just expected more from the reviews and ratings.

The Woodbridge Silver Dinner is a very busy place today. The ambience and moods seem to be running on happy high octane. The sounds of meals being prepared along with the smells are mouth watering. Evidently, I must be hungry. Upon being shown to our table by a young lady with short hair, we learned from the lady which specials are available for brunch. The lady reminded me of Rhea Ripley. Someone I vaguely remember seeing before I stopped watching WWE. Now she is very popular and I see how she looks now. The lady who seated us remind me of a young Rhea Ripley, but with the short black hair and a bit of the gothic vibe. All of these passed through my head as our host was talking to us. I think this host lady will be making it big very soon. Our server's name is David, but he likes to go by the name DJ. DJ took our orders and the were brought to us pretty quickly. I appreciate DJ informing us that the Rootbeer I would have ordered was flat. The soda machine appeared to be out of the C02...or something else all together. I ended up sticking with good old H20. I ordered the Belgian Waffle&Eggs. Since I do not eat eggs, I substituted the eggs for the new menu item called Home Fries with Caramelized Onions. My wife ordered the French Toast and Eggs with an order of Home Fries with Caramelized Onions, as well. The food was delicious as it almost always is. We saw and heard DJ talking to other guests in his high friendly energy he puts out. Unfortunately, one customer didn't seem to be enjoying himself and got loud and rude with DJ and a customer. Things could have ugly, but they didn't. Cooler heads prevailed dispite Rude Boy taking his anger out on other customers. Whether or not his wife, girlfriend or sister was embarrassed by his rude boy manners, Rihanna's message of the Rude Boy song needs to be upgraded...without the sexual innuendos to her. The other option, "Everything He Owns In A Box To The Left." I am digressing. Back to the subject at hand. DJ is a grown man and handled Rude Boy's remarks and fixed the issue. DJ apologize to his guests for the Rude Boys outbursts. Just another day at Silver Dinner if you don't let rude remarks hit you/bother you like a bat out of hell. The staff members seem pretty down to earth and they all worked together to get food out to the guests. Yes, mistakes can happen, but it's how the problem(s) are handled. We will definitely be back.

Even though it was pretty busy, we were seated immediately, and I was especially grateful to be seated in a quieter corner where the tables were more to the side instead of directly behind us. It was a stressful moment because my autistic son was having a really hard time and was clearly overwhelmed. Our server was wonderful, but the manager, Joy, was truly an angel sent at the perfect time. Not only did she remember our family from a previous visit, but after we explained that our son is autistic and was struggling in the moment, she immediately went to the back and returned with markers, paper, gemstone stickers, a timer, and more -- almost like she was fully prepared for children with sensory needs. I honestly can't express how much that meant to us. Her timing couldn't have been better, and we will forever be grateful for her kindness and compassion. On top of that, when my food came out, my steak wasn't cooked the way I requested. I honestly wasn't even planning to say anything, but Joy noticed I wasn't eating it and asked how I had ordered it cooked. When I explained, she kindly offered to remove it from the check. Managers like Joy are rare and so deeply appreciated. The food was great, but truthfully, Joy is what made this experience unforgettable. You can tell she's not only an amazing manager, but also a genuinely good person with a caring heart. Thank you, Joy, for making such a lasting impression on our family. Silver Diner is lucky to have you!

Quick Google, and Montclair Family Restaurant popped up basically a stone's throw away. Sold. Pulled in and the lot was full, cars circling for spots. Honestly that's usually a great sign for a breakfast spot but a rough sign for actually parking. We were about to give up and go around the block when somebody backed out right in front of us. Walked in and there were two tables left in the whole place. We felt like we'd used up a week of luck before 10am. Black coffee for me, water for her, nothing fancy. But the coffee was genuinely excellent, which I don't take for granted at a family restaurant. A lot of places treat coffee like an afterthought and this one clearly doesn't. I saw a Greek omelette on the menu and had never had one, so that decision made itself. My fiancée went with the pancake tacos, which neither of us had ever seen anywhere before. My omelette came out and it was eggcellent. The real star was the tzatziki, which was one of the best I've had anywhere, not just at breakfast. My one honest gripe is the home fries showed up cold. But I dumped some of that tzatziki on them and suddenly the temperature stopped being a problem. Then there's the pancake tacos. Absolutely to die for. Picture a fancy McGriddle with a lot more going on and a lot more food. My fiancée is normally very generous about sharing, and this time I got exactly one bite before she made it clear that's all I'm getting. Jealous of her order for the second time this weekend. She managed to get out the word "drinks," then couldn't understand Diet Coke and unsweet iced tea. After that we sat there about 20 minutes until a different waitress finally noticed us, apologized, and took our order. Food took a long time and was very overpriced for what we got. The waitress who started our order then walked out to the parking lot without saying a word. We were ignored after that until another server came by to refill drinks and then disappeared to the other side of the restaurant. We just wanted the check so we could leave. I finally had to get up and stand at the front. One guy walked right past me, ignored me, then came back a couple minutes later and sent me to a register. The guy at the register sent me back to the first guy. They then had a disagreement right in front of me. Eventually the waitress who had taken over our table came over with a handheld machine so I could tap to pay and get out. Never again.
