I went on a Saturday morning and the place was packed with people. The waitress managed to get us a table for 5 right away. I ordered a burger with fries, mushrooms, and cheese. Everyone else ordered breakfast fare. The food came right away - all except my burger. It finally came, without the cheese and after everyone almost finished eating. Everyone enjoyed their food. Don't even bother. Anyone know how to give this place a negative amount of stars?? Manager barely speaks English, none of the staff give a damn about anything, horrible service. But wait- there's more. Came here while my partner and I were on duty, still in uniform, too. Only four customers in the entire restaurant, including her and I. Waiter sat the two other customers literally right next to us, because just about every other table was absolutely disgusting, still covered in food, trash, and dishes. About 4 people in the kitchen, and the manager. My partner and I order, and as we sat there waiting for our food for about 15 minutes, we were met by a strong scent of marijuana, and the waiter never checked on us- not even once. Never refilled our drinks. Finally, I got my food, but then had to sit and wait for my partner to get hers for about another 7 minutes. They got both of our orders wrong. Manager gave us a shitty apology, laughed it off, and then stood there like he understands nothing. The waiter and the manager went back and forth with each other, talking in Spanish while standing right above my partner and I, at our table. Major disrespect. But wait- THERE'S MORE! We get our check, waiter hands it to us, says nothing, walks away. My partner and I go up to the register to pay. This motherf***er gave no discount, and said nothing about what had happened. He took my card, and scanned it in. I ask him, "So you didn't give us any kind of discount or anything?" He looks down and thinks for a second and says, "Ohhh, no, I charge full price." But wait...T H E R E I S M O R E! I was so furious, I snatched my card after he charged me full price, turned around, and left without a word. No tip. I couldn't raise hell on this guy because I was in uniform. This all happened on Nov. 1, 2018, at 0500. It is now Nov. 1, 2018, at 2030, and I checked my bank statement. HE ADDED A TIP FROM MY CARD. HE STOLE MY MONEY. DO NOT COME HERE!!! Calling the regional manager right now. Its ok if you have a lot of patience. They seem understaffed. I have never encountered bad service or bad food but you need patience if you do not mind not being greeted when you enter, being left with your menu for awhile, waiting awhile for your drinks, waiting awhile for your food and waiting awhile for your check. Although this IHOP is closer to my house than the other one on Galvaston Ct. off Hoadly Rd. I typically don't frequent this one as the service is usually average and often the food is only average. Recently the service and food have been a bit better but I still think the other location is much better. The servers are generally very nice but often they seem to be lacking true abilities that great servers have and often are MIA when you need something. If you have a choice I would say go early in the afternoon, that's when I have had the best experiences and food. read more

Ok this IHOP is by far one of the WORST ones I've ever been too. I've given them a couple of chances and they invariably disappoint. They're always jammed and feel understaffed. The food takes forever. Generally I would expect a a breakfast place to be quick. NOPE! The glasses always feel dirty or dishwasher grimey. Blech! One time as I was being seated the waitress told me the story of how much she hates the manager that greeted me and continued to talk smack all the way to the table....WITHIN EARSHOT OF THE MAN! I've been to some really crappy restaurants across the country before but this IHOP is easily TOP 5. Every time I either eat in or Oder to go they never get my order right. Or it comes out under cooked regardless of how packed the business is. I absolutely love IHOP but I've ended up going to ones that are a few miles out instead of this one which is less than .5 UPDATE: This IHOP is has not changed one bit. If I could give negative stars I would I was standing inline to go after calling multiple times saying they were busy and once I got inside I called just to see and THE PHONE WAS OFF THE HOOK!!! People were just standing around not doing anything but laughing and joking. And this lady and I who were waiting to place a Togo order were waiting for 15 min with the same servers not doing anything and asking multiple time for them to find someone to assist us and all they were doing was talking with the same creepy tall dude that does absolutely nothing idk even know why he has a job because he never does anything in the restaurant except screw up orders. I've have absolutely given up on this location. - At this location, there is a fowl odor always coming from the restrooms. - Saw a person get into a fight in the front of the restaurant and literally grab the register and throw it down on the ground. - Saw an employee get into an argument with a customer and even called that person names using profanity. Very professional. lol. - The majority of the tables in the restaurant were dirty, yet there was almost no one in IHOP and this was in the middle of the day. - I saw a Spanish manager had his kid in the store. He also had enough time to text some people and make some calls on his cell and keep an eye on his kid. --- Saw a different manager had enough time to read a book. -- Glad to see these people are properly running their stores. I suppose ....Can't really tell you based on the three times we saw our server. Shout out to the host that "forgot" about us on the wait list...even though we were the only people sitting down next to the host stand. I have gone to a number of IHOPs in the NoVa area and this one is the worst. We walked in and the hostess and waiter just sat and talked to each while we stood there. While our server did just fine with our orders, there were numerous people around us who had theirs come out wrong. My toast was completely cold when it came out as well. Worst of all was the noise. The place was only half full and everything was very quiet except for the employees, even the manager, who were constantly chatting extremely loud to each other. Went to IHOP on Smoketown Road in Woodbridge. Well that was a big mistake. I guess they think people at 11pm are coming from the club and won't notice. Soooo let's start on this adventure. First we get seated and it takes around 20min for a server to come.she comes and we order omelets. Mine is simple cheese, mushrooms, and bacon. So they leave off the cheese and add tomatoes which I can't have due to a violent allergic reaction that will happen. She takes it back they melt cheese on the same omlete and try to serve it to me again. Umm no the tomatoes were still on the plate and in the omelet. Also the mushroom was in the same position on the top so I know it wasn't ever redone. The omlete comes with hash browns and we'll we asked about them and the waitress says umm you have to choose hash browns or pancakes you chose pancakes. I was like WTF. I stopped by to have breakfast Saturday morning. The restaurant was busy. When I got my order, it was very poor quality. The eggs which were small were overdone and crisp on the bottom. The bacon was also poor quality, almost see through (not crispy). The pancakes were pitiful... not fluffy at all and seemed to stick to the plate. The portions for this meal were small. This was the worst IHOP I've ever experienced. Strawberry, banana pancakes came out with pineapple in them, had to send them back. Buttermilk pancakes tasted old, not fresh. This place is nasty. I walked away on Saturday, 20 April 2019 because the waitress told us they had no running water and that she didn't even know why they were open. I called the manager after I left since he was not available in person. I asked him about the situation and he confirmed they had no running water. He said they were using gallons of water to clean the dishes, gloves for preparing food and hand sanitizer. No Stars you failed IHOP Worst Breakfast Experience! Came here on veterans day for breakfast, guess they weren't participating in the free breakfast for Veterans IHOP campaign but didn't want to put the kids through loading back up in the car. Wish we had run out the door! They informed us they didn't have any kids menus. We waited 40 min for our food and when it came my sons pancake wasn't cooked; it oozed batter when cut. The women's bathroom smelled like a porta John. It was disgusting, there were glasses from the kitchen on the sink and employees were using it as a changing station. I asked for the everyday veterans discount and even though they confirmed my ID My bill didn't reflect the discount. I was so irritated with the whole experience we quickly left, I should have gone to McDonalds for free breakfast it would have been tastier and more sanitary. read more
